Blew my mind, was not expecting one of the best days in my life. I was looking for a place wer my daughter who is 8 can enjoy riding on a horse. I expected a trail walk and soon found out we are learning to control a beautiful animal in the open field and riding a course in a ring. First words she told me can we come back for my birthday.

I absolutely had a blast here! I’ve got some horse experience as an English rider who dabbles in western. Here you will learn the full western style and all it has to offer. The horses are very trustworthy and Wrangler Rich has many years of expertise. He’s tough on you but it’ll push you way out of your comfort zone. Before you know it you’ll be doing things you never thought you could! I live in NJ and will be flying back just to have more experience here. Nothing else out here like what they offer.

Expert instruction! I expected a regular trail ride in trail ponies or horses that just played followed the leader on a path, what I got was so different!Havent been on a horse in over 30 years, my wife had never ridden ! By the end of our hour we were both confidently taking our horses through an obstacle course complete with slalom barrels! Owner and his wife stayed with us the entire hour giving polite instructions! I absolutely will be a regular

The only place I know of in Lake County that facilitates a riding experience customized to what you want and need. I have learned so much from Wrangler Rich and Lynn. I am 100% comfortable around horses now and can saddle up and ride on my own.

The Wrangler has a very specific style and technique. While some of the activities were fun, the level of criticism received did not make the riding enjoyable and instead, exhausting. It was excessive enough to make the person with me uncomfortable.

My family and I had an excellent time. We really enjoyed the instructions that we learned and things that we never knew. Highly recommend Olie Acres Ranch. We definitely will be going back soon!

Took my 2 nieces today and had a great experience. The instructor was very personable and helpful. He taught us how to ride and take care of the horse and we definitely got better in the hour we went riding. Nieces were ready to put in their applications. definitely recommend.
