We went there for the first time on Saturday. The restaurant is cute, and small. The food was great and came out fresh within five minutes of ordering . The reason for three stars is because I felt sad eating here. Our hostess sat us down and took our drink order to help out the server. The server comes by and the hostess tells her that our table is for another server as this server will receive a larger table. Our server tells her that she is taking both tables and tells the hostess to get away from her. Our server’s name starts with a D but I won’t post it on here. Anyway our server was very nice to us but was mean mugging the hostess then walking into her. After that another server grabbed a plate of food from the window that I guess was not for her table. She returns with the plate and asks the cook to make another. He starts throwing his arms in the air all dramatic. He starts talking down to her and telling her she should pay attention. The server apologizes for her mistake but the cook kept laying into her. The staff is very mean to one another. I would never want to work or know these individuals on a personal level. The world is toxic enough and you should be nice to your coworkers as you are all in it together. I hope management sees this and sees how their employees are treating each other.

Best staff and great food

This was a cute restaurant. There was good food and the place was fairly clean. The staff was very hasty and threw the menus and straws on the table basically at us. The whole table also rattles when anyone walks by. Over all good.

Not a good experience, beef on the French dip was like rubber. No one told the not so good cook to drain the grease out of the taco salad meat . The lemon rice soup was ok, the dinner rolls were good!

Food was not good. Pork chops were tough and dry as dirt. Perch had no flavor. Id stick to breakfast foods, like pancakes, if made to go back. You cant really mess those up.

I love this place everytime I go to crown point this would always be my go to place to eat. What i like about the most is their sandwiches (all of them). I would always send my friends their when we go out there

Great food, service and price!

We visited Twelve Islands for lunch on Sunday. We were seated very quickly and started our meal with a cup of lemon rice soup and an order of saganaki. The soup was delicious - not too thick but very flavorful and was served with rolls. Our server brought the saganaki and lit it. It browned up nicely and tasted great. I ordered the Twelve Islands sandwich. It consisted of sliced turkey, gyro meat, Swiss cheese, tzatziki sauce, onion, lettuce and tomato on grilled sourdough bread. Loved it! What a change from the usual sandwich. My friend ordered a salad off the specials menu and she enjoyed it. We were offered dessert but the portions were generous and so we passed on that. All in all, a great lunch. The menu offered the usual but also unique choices. The server and hostess were friendly and attentive. Will definitely be going back there soon!

Its the place I meet my granddaughter for lunch. She always gets the same thing and she knows I am going to get 1 of 3 things.. it has a great atmosphere for having a few precious moments.

First time here, ordered baby beef liver, extra onions with bacon. Delicious! Perfectly cooked and served with mashed potatoes, gravy, mixed vegetables, a roll and a side salad. Very nice Waiter, on top of things! Ill Definitely be back!!!!

It was delicious. Afterwards every Thursday afternoon suppertime the square in Crown point has Antique cars all over. The cars were Gorgeous. We enjoyed it.

I have stopped here several times while in the historic Crown Point town square. I call this a typical Greek restaurant. Good comfort food and reasonable prices. A menu selection that will satisfy anyones taste. I recommend Twelve Islands. Oh, did I mention the good soup?

We got there an hour before closing. 5 adults and 8 kids with multiple tickets. our waiter was amazingly attentive and patient. the food was very good and came out fast and all at the same time. no errors. would highly recommend

Everything was superb. Our waiter was a wonderful young man. Very attentive. He knew his job. The food was quickly served and my steak was like butter and melted in my mouth. Delicious. Giving this place 3 whole stars is me being generous. Carpet was dirty, the table was sticky and had an ant crawling on it, the coffee mugs had coffee stains around the brim that i had to wipe off with my napkin, the fresh rolls that came out to the table were definitely recycled because they were hard and cold, my side salad only had one slice of green/red tomato and one slice of cucumber, and our waitress only checked on us once. I took my family here for a nice lunch because the Google reviews were good and the plave had over 4 stars. After being there i have no idea how this establishment ever got 4 or more stars.

Twelve Islands is an old fashioned family restaurant in downtown city of Crown Point.The food was good. I had a cheeseburger and fries, and it comes with coleslaw. I had not had a good cheeseburger in awhile.

Passing through town from Wisconsin and stopped here for breakfast. The food came quickly and was excellent. The waitress was awesome, checked on us often and was very friendly. I would definitely recommend that you eat here.

Up to par with most Greek-American restaurants in the region. The location directly in the square adds value to the experience. Reserve some time to park in your meeting people.

Im amazed at these great reviews ! Ive been there twice about a year apart. First time the silverware and cups were nasty and the manager taking our money acted like she could care less that we were there.The second time which was today the manager at the register did not even look at us when we walked in and just gestured for us to sit wherever. I used the bathroom before ordering and there was a pool of urine behind the toilet seat, I came to the table and all the cups were greasy around and one of them had food on it.I am disgusted with this restaurant and never will be back.I only went today to because someone else wanted to but we all left.

I had eggs and ground sirloin and found it to be very tasty. Service was good and always kept the coffee coming. I DID have to send one cup back because I noticed chips on the cup where I was drinking. I do hope that cup was thrown away. Otherwise, I found the food was very good and will go back.

Am vegan so they accommodated my spinach salad plate with avocado instead of cheese and gave me a small side of fresh melon. Was perfect. Donna my waitress was friendly and courteous would highly recommend.
