A very inviting and clean shop. The employees at the front desk were very welcoming and it was super simple to make an appointment. I visited for the first time and had my hair cut by Chi and he was excellent. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Completely satisfied with my cut and my experience and I will definitely be returning! I had a great experience. I had not received a haircut since the start of the pandemic, so my hair was pretty long lol my GF recommend them after seeing them on FB. I went by there after work without an appointment, they were very accommodating thankfully. Brenna was very nice and did an amazing job on my hair & beard. I’ve had barbers all over the world. I mean, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, Manila, South Africa, Italy, Djibouti and Spain.Oliver is one of the best. I’ve had phenomenal cuts, but they don’t always come with a charismatic barber with a gentle touch. That’s Oliver.

Im happy with my experience.My barber mistook me for someone else who seemed lost and left to go to another building. I promptly got a call asking if I was this lost man. Even though I was just pulling up to the building, it was nice to know that Social Cutting was considerate enough to call me to make sure I could find the place.Im happy with my cut and am looking forward to my next cut.

These guys took the best elements of some other barbers in the area, dropped the corporate nonsense, and created a really nice atmosphere. My wife and I are both comfortable here. There is absolutely no reason to go anywhere else.

Let me start off by saying never once in my life have I asked the barber cutting my hair for their card until today. Brenna H was absolutely stellar. She gave me an excellent haircut while being friendly and personable the entire time. I cannot recommend her enough and will not be letting anyone cut my hair except her for the foreseeable future. Let me start off by saying that Social Cutting Lounge is absolutely amazing in every way. Right down to the little details! When you walk in the door everyone makes you feel like your at home. Everyone there is polite, professional, and very accommodating. I went in to get my head shaved and beard trimmed and Gracie Poe did a outstanding job! She massaged my head wrapped it in hot towels lathered me up!!!! After all said and done I got shampooed and it felt phenomenal! Worst haircut Ive ever had in my life. The cut cost $28. I didnt make a scene or ask for it to be fixed because no way anyone could make it better. Took the barber less than 10 minutes to cut my hair.

This really is a great place. It’s owned and run by people who care about the customer experience. Guys can get a cheap haircut here, but the other services they offer is really where SCL shines. I usually get a head shave and beard trim with Laura. I highly recommend this place IF: you’re looking for a great customer experience (much better than what you’ll get at a chain haircut place) and you’re willing to spend a little more, then this is the place to get your hair done. I can’t wait for their other locations to open up.

I always went to Great Clips and when the one shut down by me, I decided to try this place out and let me tell you, im never going anywhere else! this place is SPOTLESS and very welcoming! LGBT friendly, also Im deaf, and communicating with stylists can be hard but Jasmine was the one that cut my hair she was great and communicated clearly! I highly recommend this place!

I’ve been stationed in the DMV for over five years, and I can tell you this is the cleanest closest you’ll get (military fade/lining). Even having bases near by at half the cost this is well worth the extra money and time to travel to. Jasmine has been cutting my hair for some time and has always been available at demanding times. The staff is polite, and Is family friendly (my son gets his hair done here as well). Highly recommend this place!! It’s clean, modern, and easy to get to (even from Ft Meade/Henderson Hall)

Rich and the other owners are the best in the business. The shop has a great atmosphere and, most importantly, phenomenal barbers. They do it all in here - it’s a one stop shop. I drive all the way from the eastern shore of MD to get my hair cut here and it’s always worth the drive. Can’t wait for them to open up the shop in Annapolis!

Everything a classy barbershop should be. Polite, punctual, and professional. Somewhere along the way Floyd’s lost that and became more of a production shop, always rushing in and rushing out. I will definitely go back to the Social.

She is knowledgeable, has a bubbly personality, and you can tell she loves what she does. My quarantine hair has been a challenge, and she has put true thought into what steps she has to take in the color correction process. So, if you’re looking for a fantastic hairdresser, don’t pass up a chance to give Nikki a shot. Just because it‘s listed as a barbershop doesn’t mean us ladies are overlooked.
