Really thankful to have found and been accepted by Atlas Martial Arts. I place an emphasis on acceptance. My daughter has been looking for a place where she felt like she could fit in and be accepted. This is and has been a very inclusive and welcoming place for her to train.As for training, these folks are putting in work. This isn’t a everyone gets a trophy place to train. You will be trained hard and their is an expectation that students demonstrate their commitment. You will be challenged, you will be stressed, and you will be rewarded with a sense of accomplishment after each session.Highly recommend Atlas Martial Arts to anyone interested in training.

Great Academy,Instructors are great and make it fun for the kids.They get in shape, learn lessons about life, and of course become confident in being able to defend themselves

Today I walked in and Sensei Mack was closing out the little kid lesson with the dangers of too much screen time and how to effectively communicate. Pure Awesomeness.I’ve brought my kids to various gyms around the country and this has been my favorite. I love the training style. The sensei’s college education shines in the way he trains the children. I highly recommend this gym.

My girls have been with Atlas in the homeschool group for a few years, my neighbor’s son does after school classes & husband trains BJJ there & soon my son is going to be old enough to start~ We tried a few places & Atlas is undoubtably the best for your entire family!!

I love this place and the people there! A few years ago my boys attempted karate but decided it wasn’t for them. Then my youngest daughter was hurt by her father. I knew that the only thing I wanted/needed for her was Sensei Mak and his team. And because I knew them from before, I knew that I could ask him for help. And I did. Without hesitation he offered his kindness. We will never forget the kindness and love shown to us from these folks. to any parents that need a good laugh, this is a must! I’m practically rolling by the time we have to go home each night. Good vibes all around. God has given us many good people and things. Atlas is definitely one of many. Oh and I absolutely love listening to the lessons he teaches the kiddos! I pay close attention because they are lessons for adults too. Even though I am just the parent sitting off to the side, I have been able to learn from his classes and grow as a good parent too. She is so happy here and agrees that karate has helped her/us therapeutically, a great deal. This place is so much more than just martial arts, it’s a home in our hearts. So if there are any parents who think/feel like their traumatized child needs an extra step or boost in confidence, please put Atlas into consideration.

This school is amazing! There is a generous amount of mat space. The culture is a family friendly culture for everyone and the instructors are amazing at working and interacting with all types of people from special needs to the older population. I highly recommend them!

I had never trained before in my life and set a personal goal to not only train, but actually do well in various forms of martial arts. Sensei Mak has put together a great coaching staff and consistently looks to add to that based off the needs of his students. I was treated with respect at every turn, never felt the new guy awkwardness that many fear, and Mak fostered an environment for me to learn and grow as a person and martial artist. I can’t say enough how truly thankful I am for this gym. Friendly to all ages, skill levels, and goal sets. From coaches to members there is not a better place to train in this area.

Absolutely adore the dojo, its the perfect place for anyone who wants to learn martial arts. It is not for people who want to earn belts as fast as possible though. Mak has been an awesome instructor for my ADHD/Autistic son.

My son has been attending classes here for over a year and I couldnt be happier with the results. I have been so impressed with the content of instruction and behavior of the instructors that I myself have started attending classes. Id recommend this place to anyone interested in martial arts training.

Everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful. As a female with preconceived notions about what MMA is, I showed up intimidated and nervous, but left comfortable and confident. The respectfulness of the owner, staff and students is what every business should strive for. Highly recommended.

I have NEVER heard a Sensei be disrespectful much less to both adults AND children...3 times in the first 3 minutes and so many times in the first 10 minutes that I had to stop counting 😒 I thought it may have just been an interesting moment, but the disrespectful language continued on the waiver 🤔🤨 Its said because going in, this was just number one choice for my nephew, but I was ready to leave in the first 3 minutes. We stayed, but the disrespectful language continued 😡 The current students and parents dont seem to be bothered by it.

Love this place. They are great with my children and I love the discipline they are teaching, life lessons the kiddos get, along with the physical activity that all children need.

The Senseis on the Atlas team are phenomenal at mentoring young minds and creating a healthy discipline foundation. Our son has attention issues and yet his attention and discipline at the dojo and at home have had noticeable improvements while learning here. Bottom line, the proof is in the pudding!

Sensei Mak is simply the best!!! Not only is he an great expert and teacher in Karate but he genuinely cares about each child he teaches. He serves is an exemplary role model and positive influence for his students!! Great program! The instructor is terrific with the kids. The kids have FUN and LEARN at the same time!

I trained BJJ here for ~2 months (was only in FL for summer). The instruction is great, the mats are clean, and the month-by-month pricing convenient and affordable.

We are new to crestview, and my son tried both the karate class and BJJ (7yrsold). He was hooked pretty much the first day of trying both! And is so excited to go back every day. The instructors are both very firm, but make it extremely enjoyable for the kids. Love this place already, and highly recommend to any parents looking for a new place to send their kids!

Mac the head instructor came to my academy last week and this guy is amazing. Great Jiu Jitsu and great attitude. My guys loved him! Im a Gracie Jiu Jitsu 1st degree black belt and if your looking for an awesome and diverse place to learn martial arts go to Atlas!!! OSS my friend!

Great instructors and environment.

Our family has been extremely happy with the level of instruction provided here. Sensei Mak is great with the kids. He has high expectations and teaches them to work hard for their goals. He teaches them that life is not perfect and wont be handed to them, they will make mistakes and it is emphasized that these mistakes are fundamental in learning. The kids have fun while they are there. I feel that the environment created is safe, where the kids have a chance to grow, learn and enjoy themselves. I highly recommend this dojo!

If youre in the Crestview area, youre crazy to go anywhere else other than this school. The kids program is unbeatable and the adults is taught by a legit black belt.

Sensei Mak first started teaching my boys at 4 years old. They are now 15 and 16. As an Instructor Mak has high but attainable expectations of his students. His instruction goes beyond the dojo to include teaching the kids to just be decent human beings . He has great values and morals and it shows in his students.
