I completely understand things are overwhelming right now with people not wanting to work. However, this is not an excuse to treat people badly. I am so disappointed with the customer service at this location. You would think that the people delivering our packages would actually want to ensure that they are safe and get to the person that they belong to - thats not the case here! The manager here at blows people off and closes the door in their face. It is so sad.

This place charged me $54 for a package to ship then they stole my package how amazing that you cant even trust the USPS for anything. Ill only be using FedEx or UPS from now on. I wish we had other mail companies that could deliver are normal mail I hate the USPS. Will NEVER USE AGAIN

Nothing but bad experience past two weeks. I’ve been hung up on. Won’t even offer to track my package when I ask if they are even going to attempt to find it I get hung up on. I need something done about this and my package located.

Grossly incompetent mail delivery. In the 2 years I have lives at my current address, I have had to contact the Postmaster there 4 times. This morning will be the fifth time! Our neighborhood, while in the City limits, seems to be the very last area to get their mail delivered - usually after 6:00pm. I have stood outside literally 10 or more times in the last 2 years, after 5:30PM, and watched the postal truck literally drive past every house on our street - including mailboxes with the flags up for outgoing mail, and not stop and a SINGLE Mailbox! 2 months ago, I placed a stack of outgoing letters (mostly BILLS) in my mailbox, put the flag up and went about my day. That evening, after 800pm, I checked and the flag was still up, the mail was still inside. I called the Postmaster the next morning, and complained, and he (as usual) assured me that he would take care of it. Several hours later, I noticed that the flag was down, so I went up to check, and there were still TWO of the three outgoing letters in the mailbox! I went to the Post Office and spoke with him on person, and told how how dissatisfied I was and that the next time I have a concern or complaint, I will reach out to the Regional Postmaster and tell him/her that the Crestview Postmaster needs to take his job seriously or he needs to be replaced . Yesterday, I went out to my mailbox to get my mail, and there were 23 pieces of mail n my mailbox. 8 were for my address, the other 15 pieces were for 6 other homes on my Street!! There are only 10 homes total on the whole street, so more than HALF of my neighbors didnt receive their mail yesterday because the IDIOTS that are supposed to deliver our mail either cant read or (more likely) are simply too lazy to stop at each home, so they just shoved everything in one mail box and head to Happy Hour.ENOUGH! I will be there when to Postmaster arrives for work today, speak with him on person and get the direct phone number for his Supervisor, who I will then call while I am standing there and let him know how that his subordinate is either incapable or uninterested in having his Staff do their jobs!

Our mail carrier refuses to deliver packages that won’t fit in mailbox. Our gate is always open and she won’t drive down the driveway. We left a nice note saying we will put a box nearer to road but got a nasty note back saying it was too far. So our packages continue to have to be picked up. We have complained to post master and I have called requesting help with finding a way to get our packages delivered. Today was infuriating, Amazon sent message early this am stating package could not be delivered. She doesn’t even come by until 5pm! Our neighbors are also frustrated by poor service. Hoping someone sees this.

When they arent damaging your items they are losing them or delivering them to the wrong address.

This was on 12/18/2020. I stood in line for near 70 minutes to mail several Christmas greeting cards and because there was a gift card in each, I felt the need to check amount of postage each needed. There was only one window open to serve customers. Reason: door was stuck to gain entrance to other windows. Not sure if that door was entrance to other windows for employees or customers. I do not understand why this issue was not taken care immediately, as on 12/18/2020 it had been STUCK for FOUR days. When I finally got to the window, I was told all envelopes had required amount of postage. Clerk was frazzled, but friendly, and surprised me when stating there must be gift cards enclosed. I did not confirm or deny. Here it is, 26 Dec 2020 and 2 greeting cards with a gift card in each have not been received though others going to same address or area have. The 2 that seem to have vanished just happen to have the highest gift card amounts.Just one more negative event to take place in 2020. Happy New Year

The Staff is nice - only reason for 2 stars. But learned that Priority 2 day mail is not guaranteed and not eligible for a refund. So when deciding if you should pay the extra - DONT.

Mail carrier leaving notices at the wrong address the package have the correct address he is not reading placing ppl mail in the box that dont have that address on it also... this is unacceptable.

Hands down THE WORST POST OFFICE I have EVER been to. Literally not a single postal worker with ANY customer service. Miserable personalities, always a long wait, and this last time rude comments. I will drive out of my way to NEVER use this building again. Ive tried numerous times and each time it was snarky attitudes for tiny flaw (forgetting to sign signature block on international form). Told me to get out of line, sign, then get back at the back of the line. NEVER COME HERE!

Our mailman is a terrible employee. I have complained numerous times and nothing changes. The mailman wont bring packages to our front door if it doesnt fit in the mailbox or if he just feels like leaving a notice in our box that he attempted to deliver our Amazon box, even though my wife is home with the kids.I went to the post office location and spoke with a manager that told me Amazon helps pay his salary at the post office and he would correct the issue.Well it keeps happening, and I spoke with another supervisor that said the mailman doesnt have time to bring packages to our front door.They had time to collect money from us tax payers and a contract from Amazon. What a joke.

I go to the post office 2-4 times a week for work and the staff at the Crestview location are always helpful and nice.

Been here for almost 15 years and have not had any real problems...The employees in the post office are very friendly and have always greeted me with a smile. Our mail carrier is phenomenal! Shes very friendly and considerate. During December she even makes 2-3 deliveries/day to make sure everyone gets their packages for Christmas. The only problems I have ever had have been when her replacement delivers...sometimes Ill get the neighbors mail. Overall, very happy with our post office.

The mail lady is horrible!. I rely on the male person for my business and I keep getting packages lost or arriving very very late. She also is very inconsistent with the times she comes to the neighborhood. I always have my packages delivered late to my house and sometimes she doesn’t even come at all. This effects my business and I don’t like it, I don’t have time to drive all the way across town.

I wish that the USPS would just go out of business already. Completely useless. I no longer buy any online product unless I can confirm that it will be delivered by UPS or FedEX. If a seller says they ship only with USPS, I shop elsewhere.

I don’t have time to go to the other side of town so I depend on the mail carrier to deliver the mail and pick it up.... But when they get a new driver I can go three days without mail pick up or delivery (I am a business)We have a mailbox by the door for when the office is not open and inside pick up and delivery for when we are open, not hard right we have been in the same location 20 plus years. Long story no mail three days call the post office manager said it was a new driver that we had no mail not even junk mail, carrier was already in so I leave the office, get an email from a delivery I haven been waiting saying that the post office could not deliver the mail .Sorry about ranting My sisters-in-law is a mail carrier and I have seen some of the places she delivers, and she she is great. I just wish the post office in Crestview would take the time to train the new carriers - this is not a one time thing it has happened over ten times to me. I have even had a manager return my mail to sender because my street name was not on his map book-I had to go in and prove there was an established street sign on my road.

I live way out 90 E and I have the best mail delivery person. She is awesome. If the package doesnt fit in the box she puts it on the porch and rings the bell to let me know its there.

I live in Indiana, my daughter lives in Crestview. I paid to have her birthday present delivered ON TIME, WELL, ITS NOT THERE AND IT WAS TO BE DELIVERED FRIDAY. Her birthday is today (Sunday). If they cant do the JOB, WHY DO THEY HAVE IT? Thank you USPS for at the very least being consistent at doing things at your own pace!!!!

Amazing workers at this post office! I had to mail out 4 packages to my bridesmaids and they were very patient with me and helped every step of the way!

I went to the Crestview Fl, post office last Saturday because my four-year college diploma was forwarded about a month ago. I spoke with the site supervisor Davon E Estelle Sr. Who happened to be very unprofessional, when I asked the gentleman if he could check for any forwarded mail that might have my diploma? He stated, I have 10,000+ mail back there Im not checking for your diploma. I chuckled and said Okay sir its just my college diploma that I worked four years for its no big deal I then handed Mr. Estelle my photo ID because I was not leaving until he did his job and checked for my diploma at the mail case in the back. Maybe, he just was just having a bad morning. Nevertheless, I really hope this gentleman has a change of heart and treats customers with a little more respect in the future.

It is pretty much pointless to schedule a pickup for packages in this area because half the time they don’t pick them up.

They lost 1 package 2 weeks ago. Today I was suppose to recieve a package says its on the truck for delivery, I hear the mail person coming, I wait outside and no package they speed by my house. The way they handle things is bbn unacceptable. Do you still have to take an exam to work for the USPS. The people I have had to deal tells me no. #incompetent

Our delivery person regularly miss delivers packages - to the point where it is a joke in the neighborhood and we have to meet and exchange our mail (packages, bills, finance stuff, magazines...everything). She also has a habit of bending parcels to fit in the mail box rather than bringing it to the door - many bent books...

I wanna know where they find the mail carriers. I have lived in the same spot for 2 years and consistently every day for 2 years my neighbor brings me my mail from her mailbox and I get mail meant for someone on a totally different street. Now here it is almost 3 weeks into the first of the year and I’ve been pulled over twice because my vehicle registration somehow got lost. This is ridiculous and no one is held accountable.

They need a way to check for packages that are there as well as a phone number for questions. Ive had the check for my stuff in the back before but the guy that was there when I went refused.Ive edited my review down to 1-star instead of 3. This facility has lost 2 things Ive sent. When you try to talk with them they dont care and just try to rush you out. Horrible customer service by people that dont want to be there and couldnt care less about your mail. One package I sent arrived torn up and contents missing while another for rent never even arrived. Was basically told it wasnt their problem.

Very helpful staff. Friendly, courteous, efficient, knowledgeable. I am in there several times a week and they are always professional and can answer any of my shipment questions and save me money. Disregard these negative reviews...its a sign of the times that social media has gone awry. I have shipped through USPS offices up and down the east coast and these folks are TOP NOTCH. .If you dont believe my post try shipping through UPS or FexEX a few times, see how you are treated, pay those high shipping costs and you will LOVE the folks at our USPS.

I wish I knew when my carrier shows up! Anywhere between 5 and 7:30pm! I was also expecting a delivery yesterday and the tracking number shows it was delivered. Luckily for me, I also have a Ring doorbell and there was no delivery at the time it said it was to have been delivered. When calling the post office, I get a recording and then a slight hold and then disconnect! This is the worst post office I have ever had the experience with.

Moved here and had the best carrier ever! A change was made and now have the WORST carrier ever!! Been here 4 yrs., still receive previous owners/tenants mail. Wrote NSP (No Such Person) and placed back in mail box with flag up! Next day...flag down and my mail placed on top of all NSP pieces of mail left in box. She is a definite unprofessional, poor excuse for a mail carrier!!!

Gentleman was delivering packages when I went to check. I asked him if he could look for my amazon package so I wouldnt have to come back (babies were with me) he was kinda rude about it. I didnt push. I waited 20 mins until my tracking number said deleivered to mailbox and then walked over to check it only to find no package and no key. I asked my apt office they had nothing, then I waited almost an hour to get a hold of someone at the USPS to find out my package was most likely misplaced. I filed for a case and was told I had to contact the company the package was from to see about a refund. Im so angry and frustrated with this situation.Update:I was able to get a hold of the local branch and they quickly resolved the problem. They contacted the driver and he came back to check the boxes and he had indeed misplaced my package. He apologized and that was that.

I ordered a phone case from the internet. It said it was delivered but I have yet to receive it... I then went to post office to see what happened, a supervisor had said the package has been delivered to the address, and was placed on the ground next to my mail box. They are not taking responsibility for my package being delivered on the ground. Maybe next time they can put it in the mailbox, or take it back to post office if it will not fit in that mailbox like they are suppose to. I am disgusted with this post office, all they can do right is deliver letters... sometimes.

The staff are mildly helpful but the computer operating system for the phone number is absolutely terrible. Tried to call for tracking a package they lost and was kept on hold for an hour.

Every time I have been to this location the employees have been knowledgeable and very helpful with anything I may have needed.

Employees have been nice and helpful in my experience with occasional mistakes like any business. Lines are long during busy times and this happens at most post offices Ive been to.

Seems these days people are full of hate and only remember the bad things of others. In saying that I have had good experiences with our USPS, I am in there several times a week, glad they are always happy to see me.

Our mail delivery guy left 4 packages between our cars in our driveway instead of coming up to the front door

I called the Crestview post office around 12pm, today, I talked with a man, about how the address on my package was written wrong, but it was spose to be delivered today, he told me he would call the mail carrier and have them delivery it to my house anyways, well I waited and waited all day... Called multiple times asking if they still have carriers out delivering packages.. Well then I check my tracking number again, and he states that my package was sent back to the post office, with a undeliverable address, so basically the whole point of me calling the post office was worthless, cause he never even called the carrier.

Always slow. Never patient. Never deliver on time.

I like the employees here and no complaints about the mail.

Worst post office Ive ever dealt with.. Out of all the employees I spoke to nobody seems to have any idea whats going on. Every employee gave me a different reason why I havent received my package that was supposed to be delivered on the 18th but they cant seem to even locate it. Devon has the worst customer service out of them all and I dont see how he still has a job the way he speaks to people. Im not for sure if its due to incompetence, illiteracy or laziness but its been over a week that I have received any mail that belongs to my address. I have been receiving my neighbors mail and they have been getting other peoples mail that dont even live on our road and to top it off Im missing two paychecks that said they were delivered but not to me. Thats just mild compared to last year when they delivered my kids Christmas packages to another place. Thank God the people were nice enough to give the packages to me. I have never had so much trouble getting my mail than I have dealing with this crappy post office. You cant trust anyone with your mail nowadays.

Recently moved SSI mail sent back without my knowledge from my new address my benefits were stopped all because of mail carrier sending mail back without authorization, now i have to jump thru loops to try to get back on track and cant seem to call and talk to anyone about this without an hour or more hold, poor poor service for the USPO!!!

Devon who answered the phone with me this morning wouldnt even let me get through my initial question because he kept interrupting me and continuously interrupted me to tell me that he couldnt pull my package and let me pick it up. He continued to, and I quote, said i wont even ask her to look for your package, because she has other things to do and then he he told me he didnt have time to deal with me, because hes been there since 5 am. I paid for overnight shipping so that my mother would get her mother’s day gift on time. The post office said it was undeliverable because it had rained. I drove to their house in my Hyundai Elantra. Really? Obviously this post office just doesn’t want to do their job.

I went to the Niceville Post Office to submit my paperwork to renew my passport. Although it says on the internet that they do passport processing, once I got there they told me they didnt and that I had to go to Crestview. I drove all the way up there only to be told that I had to make an appointment. So they made an appointment for me the next day. I drove all the way back up there the next afternoon and handed in my passport paperwork after standing around for 15 minutes past my appointment time. Six weeks later I get 2 letters from the State Department. Apparently the clerk that took my paperwork was supposed to have me sign something and they failed to do that. So now I have to go all the way back up there for a THIRD TIME because the clerk misprocessed my application. The only thing they had to do, have me sign the paperwork in their presence and they failed at it!

The absolute worst!!!! Sent mail back to sender randomly and repeatedly AFTER forwarding address was filed. When I called and said I needed to file a claim the man that answered said, “go ahead - it will just come back to me anyway”. Seriously- the worst! They need to clean house in that post office.

Ive never had any problems in the office, except occasionally long lines. However our carrier recently retired and her replacement is unfriendly and seemingly very careless about the performance of his job!

I have a sign on my front porch that says deliver to the back porch. This guy disregards this, stepping on my blueberry plant, and runs down the driveway yelling I have a package. The back porch is covered and rain clouds are in the area. He is a new person and should be counselled.
