I called a taxi for my girlfriend and the guy requested a photo of my ID and then said that if my girlfriend wasnt there he would file a police report for theft of service, being as thats 100% unprofessional, I hung up, then I start recieving texts from the driver scolding me for hanging up, I will NEVER use this company and its no wonder people use Lyft and git-er-dun instead of these awful people

First off, I do have to say that on the phone they do quotes you $20 minimum. However, if you are going somewhere close by and then coming back its $20 still. However, its $5 to stop somewhere and you do get charged a dollar for each minute that passes after you get out of the vehicle. So, you can get rather pricey with this particular Taxi company. However, the person I received a ride from was very friendly and he explained a little bit more detail about how there prices actually work. He also explained some of the details about the other taxi companies around here although Ive never researched if they are actually losing money or Not by having their lower prices set, but I do know Ive read before that both Uber and Lyft are a bit Shifty with the way their car insurance works. So, what the person explain to me sounded legit enough that I found it believable and I will also say that his driving was good and you drove safely and explained why he made certain actions if certain other people might not necessarily and Ill stop at some specific place for a couple of moments or something like that. So the service itself is good and doesnt leave you feeling icky or anyting. I will also say that this company had a driver immediately available for me for something that I needed to take the somewhere as soon as possible whereas the other also pretty fair taxi companies in town werent immediately available. There was a long wait time with those and for my particular thing, I could not wait 2 hours for get her done. The other taxi company was also backed up for a while. So, I would say if you use these people expect to be paying more, but if you need something a bit more reliable to be there for you and you absolutely need the service sooner, I would say use Shoreline. As a last example of what my ending cost were the other day, my total round trip was about 10 miles and I had to make about a three-minute stop and to the four-story hospital building off of redstone here in town and so my total came to $33 and if you use a card to pay then there is another $5 charge for using a card. If its your first time ever using shoreline at all, the driver may or may not give you a break if you have enough cash to get kind of close to what theyre charging. I did only put three stars on this because yes, a person can spend a lot of money with these folks very quickly. Otherwise, even with how things were explained with how the charges work, I think absolutely everything else about the service that they provide was very top notch.

Gal who answered said $20 minimum...really? We’re going 5 miles lady. I mean we get Lyft and Uber rides for so much cheaper than that, that’s ridiculous. Even better she says “we’ll have the driver call you”...lol I’m sorry no. I’m not waiting around to see if I can get ride. So we ended up calling Uber because it was 1/2 the price and their response time was much faster.

This place is a joke dude said its a 20 dollar minimum just to go somewhere right down the road dont ever call them I rather call a uber
