I cannot say enough about our stay at the Blue Jay Getaway! Such a wonderful relaxing weekend, the home is spacious with all the comforts you need when you’re a strict Began, we cooked, we relaxed, we to the trail around the lake twice and visited heart rock! We even walked to the lake, around the lake and back it’s that close! The owners were awesome, very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. It is the perfect spot to unplug from LA and be in nature. It’s funny, I heard this noise that sounded like traffic, I stood outside and it was the sound the trees make when the wind picked up! The view from the deck was astounding, it even looked like parts of Hawaii 🌸 The local grocery store is so convenient, and has a great selection of everything! Once we are off our dietary restrictions I would to visit the local restaurants! A day at the lake with the kids was so much fun...and Summer Farmer’s Market on Friday eves was a treat for us! 5 stars for cleanliness, comfort, location, Owners 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟, thank you we will be back!Kevin and Sandra❤️

Omg this place was literally like living in a dream. Small mountain town, nice neighborhood, wonderful views, Id walk down to town and back because just wow the beautiful everything! Deep breaths of fresh mountain air! And when it snows its like living in a hallmark perfect picture post card. Its so amazing from a florida born person I wish I could move there. This is the place of dreams.

Super beautiful cabin where we were even provided with a cup of peanuts to feed the bluejays with on our balcony! Wonderful place for a hangout away from home with Lake Gregory nearby (which comes with its own list of fun opportunities!)

Only a few hours into our stay but this adorable cabin has everything you could want and more, I was worried because of the snow it would be too cold for the birds but, heard them singing so decided to grab out some peanuts and it didnt disappoint! Within jut a few minutes we had some blue Jay friends coming by for a bite. This cabin is purely delightful an escape for the soul 💕🌲

Love homes setting in the forest great viewing from the two balconies and they even provide peanuts to share with the blue Jays that come right to the railing to get them. The owners have a great home here so glad they chose to allow strangers to share their home. rent it through Airbnb...
