Fantastic gym. Friendly and knowledgeable staff who are always willing to help. Tons of equipment and extremely clean. Also, a no judgement atmosphere where everyone feels welcome. I love it here.

If you aren’t affiliated with Amazon you need to get rid of the hub locker. I don’t know the purpose of having a locker if you wanna tell people they can’t come in at certain times. Definitely will be switching mine today !

*Amazon customers * please avoid this location for locker hubs doors are locked 24/7 and staff isn’t that friendly and your almost never able to get your package . I picked up my package on Sunday within Amazon hours 8-12pm and manager Eric was not welcoming and told me “this is a private gym, I’m glad your here now because I’m about to lock the door” It was only 9:12am. Choose another hub, this one is useless.

This charter fitness location is affiliated with Amazon and refuse to allow Amazon customers to put there packages. The Manager Eric was extremely Rude and unprofessional. He also refused to give up basic information and his negligence was reported to charter fitness and Amazons corporate offices. Poor customer service by far.

Punctuality is important in a business. Having said that I have been going in at 5 a.m. for quite some time and it seems like the lady who opens the doors on weekdays has a nearly impossible time opening at 5a.m. I have watched her habitually show up anywhere from 2-10minutes late everyday. Its not just me waiting either, 10 regulars or so every morning wait for her to open the gym late every day. If you want an early a.m. gym, find a new one in my opinion.

PURE EXTORTIONI called to cancel my membership 6 years ago, and they refused to cancel via phone. I went into the gym in person with another person who was cancelling as well. I gave them my cancellation in writing. No further deduction was made from my bank account.Now - 6 YEARS LATER - I received an email stating that I was going to be sent to collections for 4 months of dues that were unpaid from 2014. I called them, and they have no record of my cancellation. I was told that they have a new owner who is trying to recoup some of his recent losses due to Covid by going after old accounts. I explained what happened, but they say that they dont have any record of the cancellation - even though the person I went in withs account was cancelled, plus I was on auto-pay so why wouldnt they have kept charging me? IT DOES NOT MAKE SENSE. I had to settle and pay them 20% of what they say was owed to ensure it wasnt going to collections, but it is not the money, it is the principle. This is a bad policy and a bad decision by a money-grubbing new owner. Pure EXTORTION.

I have a membership at multiple gyms in the area and this is honestly my favorite one. Number 1 reason is the cleanliness especially during these hard times I noticed that this is definitely the cleanest gym in the area. Staff are always friendly and make you feel good to be there. Very spacious and huge variety of equipment to chose from. Keep up the great work!

Charter Fitness of Crest Hill has an amazing staff. I’ve been a member for about 4 years now and I love being a member. The staff is friendly and they’ve become like a second family. The trainers are knowledgeable, as well. Gyms tend to be intimidating for some, but I can guarantee anyone that’s not the case at Charter Fitness of Crest Hill. I highly recommend anyone to try the workout classes. You won’t regret being a member and you won’t find the service you get here for the affordable price as well.

Honestly a great gym to come to for a great price. Plenty of equipment and usually isn’t too packed so no issues with having enough equipment for everyone. Staff is also super friendly. Definitely worth coming here on a daily basis

Vania has always been dedicated at her craft, but shes even more dedicated to her patrons. Everything from proper form, to making a proper meal plan that suits dietary needs, I never thought I would be an in shape person. She made it simple. She made it clear. She made it easy. I cant thank her enough for helping thus far on my journey and I cant wait to see what other fitness goals I can achieve under her tutelage.

The staff here is by far the best I’ve ever dealt with at any gym. Everyone is friendly and genuinely cares about you. The trainers take time to get to know you personally and what you are trying to achieve. The club director is a phenomenal human and wants to help everyone to become the best version of themselves. The people here are the reason that I enjoy going to the gym!

The staff is amazing and they are willing to assist you with anything you need. It is always clean when I come in as well as the price is really affordable. Not only does it give off a pleasant atmosphere, it has a variety of different equipment so there is always room to do what you need.

Great Facility, staff is always very accommodating especially Vania. Vania is a shinning star within their staff, she is a personal trainer who knows how to advise members who have physical limitations due to age or injury. Vania has a dazzling smile, wonderful personality, and is easy to talk to which helps her share her knowledge in a professional yet laid back manner.

I have been a member at many gyms, this one is by far the best. There is tons of equipment, I almost never have to wait for anything, and it doesn’t feel cramped or crowded. The staff is extremely helpful and knowledgable. It also is very inexpensive. Great gym with great management.

From my experience, the environment is built to get on the grind and pump out endless reps of your favorite workouts! The employees here treat you well and are full of helpful tips to keep you going strong. I highly recommend a lift session here!If you are looking for advice I recommend talking to Devin T. He gives me great advice and works hard.

Friendly staff. Clean facility.. No one hogs the machines and I LOVE THAT. I wanted a little information on conditioning and eating healthier, and Eric Murff gave me some pointers that wasnt overwhelming to help me achieve my desired results. Would recommend this gym as I of the best in area. They also did a fund raising event for a local family... What gym does that? Charter Fitness of Crest Hills does, thats who.

The staff is outstanding, friendly and helpful with whatever you need. The gym is clean has all the equipment you would need for lifting as well as machines. And the open space you need for aglity work. Overall its the best gym in the area for the price. With a great environment for everyone.

Pretty disgusted with shape of equipment. Ive been asking for several months for them to fix the handles on equipment. Today I was told they wont repair the handles on equipment because other than the handles leaking adhesive glue everywhere you grab them...the machines are fully functional. Maintenance isnt going to pay someone $100/hour to repair a few handles .They will fix them when more things need to be repaired so its cost effective. Just wrap towels around the handles thats what they are there for.... I wasnt aware I was going to a gym with this type of leadership and mentality. I only use certain equipment on days I can go to mimic the exercises I do for therapy. Its sort of a pointless to continue paying them and when asked how to cancel Im told I have to pay a $60.00 fee to cancel. So Im forced to find a new location to do these exercises because they are not willing to pay the money to repair the equipment and I have to pay to cancel my membership? Makes sense. Seems they are the same cardinal fitness as before. You can change the name of your company but that clearly wont change the mentality of the owners.

This gym is great. Typically I go later at night. It’s always well maintained and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

I joined a few months ago and I love it!! The reason I joined was to build up my endurance and strength after a year long battle with cancer/chemo. I was overwhelmed and didnt know where to start, when one day I ran into Stacy Morris. I must have looked lost because she asked me if there was anything she could do to help. I explained to her what my last year was like, she was very caring and explained how the personal trainer sessions would be tailored to what I am working toward. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Stacy has shown me so much! even a lot that I can practice at home. I am so grateful that I have met Stacy and all of the time I have had with her has not only started to build my endurance and strength, she makes our sessions fun. She has helped build my self esteem back and I can accomplish anything I put my mind too. I am so grateful for the one day I walked into Charter and met Stacy Morris!!!!!!

The gym has a lot of room, very spacious. Ton of benches so when it gets packed this gym handles the rush well. A lot of cardio equipment as well. Good atmosphere as many different people come. Only knock is the plates they have to deadlift are an odd shape so you constantly have to reset.

This gym must be doing real good in business, turning people away talking about try another gym because supposedly they dont give trial passes nor able to have month to month subscription. The lady couldve been nice about it and simply try and work something else out than to right away tell someone to go elsewhere. Thats alright probably better off somewhere else anyway.

My volleyball club has worked with Charter Fitness for the last five years. During this time, Charter Fitness has become more than just a once a week training session, but a part of the Belusa United Volleyball Club family. Our trainers not only kept up with our athletes’ progress throughout the season, but they also frequently attended tournaments and club events showing their support. They attempted to use the time together to adjust what was needed to succeed on and off the court. Our girls love seeing them and feel comfortable talking to them about their personal fitness. They always make themselves available and work with our girls to make sure they are well-rounded athletes.Each season we have been able to adapt and evolve our program because of the great communication that the trainers have with me and my coaches. They ask about the weeks’ activities so girls are not overworked and frequently ask for feedback on how the workouts are going.Belusa United VBC has been around for many years, but it wasnt until we partnered with Charter Fitness that we noticed a difference in our players physical fitness, versatility and confidence. Our college recruiting is at an all time high with 93% of players receiving scholarships, and our increased performance on the court has been noticed. Our top 18s team finished in the top 15 the last three years in Power League (1st, 3rd, 14th), along with other achievements. With the help of Charter Fitness, our players are better suited for long days of play and more strenuous competition. They are taught the most successful ways to workout, and in doing so have become better athletes for it.

Went there today to check the place out, and the lady was rude. At first another lady was helping and then the rude lady butted in. The young lady that was helping us was doing a fine job. She didnt know to much about the equipment and she was bragging to much how she lost a lot of weight and got her abs strong. She seem very controlling. Wouldnt recommend this place.

A little nicer than Cardinal fitness, but same fees. Not AWESOME, like LA Fitness, but much cheaper. No pool. No court. But a great place to get into shape!

Great staff and a great atmosphere To workout in.

Love Charter Fitness have been going here for years now. The new location has blown my mind, feel like im stealing from the company paying only $20 a month. The only suggestions I have is performing more regular maintenance, mostly on the free weights, almost every other set I do, I am tightening the bolts on the dumbells with my fingers.... I do not want to see anyone get injured with something preventable. Oh and because of the size of the gym, do you think you could get a punching bag??? :) Other than that keep up the great work, love the staff too!

Everything you need to stay in shape and get tone or big in a gym friendly atmosphere without all the bells and whistles and the fashion shows. Great staff and the owner is a great guy that takes care of his facility.

The equipment is good. Its alittle small, but for 10 bucks a month, you cant beat what you get for it. If they added a hot pool or sauna, I would sign up for a lifetime.

Their night manager makes weird noises so loud its very unprofessional. He walks around on his cell phone talking and its obvious he is making personal phone calls. His conversation is loud enough the whole gym can hear him. I begin to wonder how the owner trusts this individual with his gym, as I see the staff cleaning and he is behind closed office doors on his phone. The staff cant answer any questions only this night manager as he makes no attempt to train the other employees. I have witnessed him outside jumping up and down and coming back in the facility. WHAT in the world ?? He represents Charter and is acting a fool.

Good gym for 10$ a month but the staff needs to make sure dumbbells and curl bars are tight it feels like everytime I pick up a dumbbell or A curl bar the weight is about to slide off from being so lose. And I don’t really feel like I should have to bring my own allen wrench set to workout lol.
