Surprisingly a no fuss auto repair. Just got a oil change with 0W20. Down to earth receptionist is cool.Although not sure if I got other complimentary services like road trip check. I inquired about it before service so I assumed they did it. But it wasnt noted on my receipt if it was done or not (like a check list like some car repair services have)

Made an online appointment four days in advance. Arrived to the location at the scheduled time and nobody was there, sign on the door said, Be back in 15 minutes. 45 minutes later, two employees come in. I had to give all the information to them all over again, proving the corporate website doesnt interact with the franchises ever. Received a quote for my car, but part would not be available until early next morning, Noon at the latest The next day I never received a call, when I would call there was no answer, just a machine. Called corporate, they tried to call with no response as well, and couldnt answer any of my questions. Very unprofessional, bad business

When we moved to the area this place seemed like it would be a good place to go especially since the town we moved from we used Meineke and were happy. This one in particular is a huge NO GO! One oil change we made an appointment for 7:30 only to get there and find out the tech wasn’t schedule until 9am and was still late at that point. Just recently made an appointment for brakes which we were told were at 35% last oil change and tires only to get there and be told they don’t have my tires and wanted to charges us astronomical prices for said tires, $300+ per! And not only that but they didn’t even show up to the shop until after 8am and there were multiple cars waiting to get their vehicles serviced. I was so fed up that we drove 45 min back to our previous Meineke location only to find out that I didn’t need brakes, they were above 50%. Goes to show that this place just cares about the $$ and not customer service.

Went in because the last shop who did my oil change put the filter on to tight and I couldnt get it off myself. They took my car in and did the oil change in just over 30 minutes. The staff was super friendly and we had really good conversations while the oil change was getting done. Would definitely be coming back here for anything I need help on.

I though that they were very honest between what needs to be fixed immediately and suggestions for what I should pay attention to. I had one spring in my shock/strut assembly that was broken. He said normally you would get both replaced at once, but the other side was still in pretty good shape, so they did not try to pressure me in to additional work. Mechanics were very knowledgeable. They had convenient hours and all day Saturday so it was easy to get it done. Labor per hour is about the same as most ($109).

Wanted to charge me for a hour and a half of labor to change my back caliper because the bleeder value was broke off I came with my tools and a jack and replaced it in 20 min. I am 18 and not certified explain that.

The guys at our local Meineke in Crest Hill were awesome! They both answered all of my questions regarding the repairs my truck needed with lots of detail and didnt one time get impatient or rude like Ive experienced in other shops.The work they did was affordable, well done, and done expediently. They have earned my repeat business!

I went there for an oil change and tire rotation which was included then they tried to charge me for the tire rotation. When it clearly says in there website that the tire rotation is included

I told them that my air conditioner compressor fan wasnt working and they said it was when repairs were finished then they said my fan wasnt working and needs more money for the repair I will not go there again for any work!!!

I got both of my calipers replaced and they did a great job. Both were custom order so it took a little bit to get the piece but everyone stayed and helped. Some of the employees even stayed almost 2 hours after they were closed to finish up my car and get me on the road. Great place with a bunch of great people. Would definitely recommend

They were honest about the repairs that I needed they wasnt trying to do things that wasnt needed just make money off me. They was quick they wait wasnt long the price was right and most of all the fixed the problem with quality work and parts.

Meineke in Crest Hill did a good job. They honored my 3 o’clock appointment and performed an oil change and a brake inspection (that I requested) in a timely manner.

Im not one to just leave bad reviews all the time; Id like to think Im pretty easygoing and reasonable. But I had a really bad experience here. I wish that I could comment on their expertise, however, I was never able to get any work done.I scheduled an appointment online, but when I arrived there was a note on the door saying they were closed for an emergency. Not a problem, I just rescheduled for the next day. When I arrived the following day, the employee at the front desk said, You sure youre at the right location? Ive been here all day, and I dont remember getting a call from someone with your name. I explained that we had made an appointment online, twice by this point. He responded with, Oh, I have no idea how to use that online stuff. Itll probably be a few minutes, Ive only got one mechanic today so Ill have to do it myself.I commented that an online booking system was fairly useless if nobody knew how to use it, and he spent another minute looking at something on his computer. After a few seconds, he shook his head and said, Yeah, sorry, youre not in here. At that point, I knew it wasnt worth waiting, as he obviously didnt care about my appointment enough to try to accommodate me, and I left.Again, I dont take issue with normal problems that crop up in the service industry. Stuff happens. But this incident was blatant laziness and extremely unprofessional. Suffice to say, were not going back to this Meineke. I hope your experience is better than mine was.

I brought in my vehicle for a BASIC 24.99 OIL CHANGE. The associate offered me a free inspection of my vehicle so I took it. When he came back from everything he told me I was misfiring and having loads of issues. I let him know it hasnt misfired in months because I know what it sounds like, but he told me Well, now it is. I told him Id have someone else look at it. And upon driving it afterwards it did begin to misfire. I brought it to my personal mechanic, who let me know that the 1 & 3 marked spark plugs were switched between each other, causing the issue. It was a simple quick fix however I was driving on the highway when I first got the vehicle back, and I truly thought I might die on the road because of my cars reaction at 65 MPH. I normally go to the Meineke in Romeoville because I trust them but they were busy this day. I urge no one else to go this location and I hope some sort of action is taken to prevent this from happening to more people in the future.

I have been to coming to Meineke for the last 2 years, for oil changes mostly, because of the convenience. They are located right across the street from me. However, after multiple incidents regarding maintenance on my vehicle I will no longer be coming back. The first time was after I had 2 brand new front tires put on. By the time I picked up my car and went to the store, one of my tires was completely flat. The second time was when I received an oil change and they told me I needed my tie rod end fixed. They did the work and right after I left the shop I could tell that something was wrong. There was play in the steering wheel and knocking every time I steered left. I went back to have it corrected. After picking up my vehicle yet again I felt something was wrong. When I went over 50mph the steering wheel shook alot and it never did that prior. I had to take it back again to be corrected. Needless to say, being a single mom with 2 kids and a full time job, Meineke has been more of a hassle than help.

Best service at a garage, hands down. A great owner and mechanics. They were helpful, timely and happy to teach you about your car. Incredible service; best Meineke in the area.

I made an appointment for Saturday to have a diagnostic test ran on my car because it failed the emissions test. After being there for 2 hours, they asked me if I could bring the car back on a week day when theyre less busy. I agreed to do so. I brought my car in at 8 am on Tuesday. After having my car for 9 hours, the only work accomplished was the diagnostic test. I spoke with the owner multiple times throughout the day telling him to go ahead and replace the parts needed. Nothing happened. He wasnt able to provide me an estimate like he said. Now, they want me to bring my car back a THIRD time. Its not going to happen. Im taking my car elsewhere.

Twice this year, I had emergency situations where I needed my vehicle looked at and fixed within a day. These guys made it happen both times. They listen, they explain things to me, and they didnt try to sell me stuff that I didnt need. They were very understanding to my situations and seemed to really care that I was able to drive my car. I would highly recommend this place :)

Incompetent customer service. I received an emailed confirmation for my appointment the day before a scheduled maintenance with the correct address and phone number. When I show up for my appointment I was laughed at and asked if I own a phone book. This was not the owner, but the front desk representative refused to answer and questions and told me it would be a couple hours before they could get me in. Until they figure out which century we are in, I highly recommend using a better local competitor that is just across the street.

Took in my car for a simple Tire valve fix, 2 Days Later a horrible grinding noise out of the same Tire they fixed every time I would come to a stop. Took to a different mechanic and found out they loosen the bolts on my front brake calipers..... My front brakes were done three months prior me taking my vehicle to these people and there was no way those bolts would have loosened up unless someone did.

Theres a hidden gem at this place. Rus is one of the most knowledgeable mechanics Ive met and he works here! Honest guy, happy to explain everything you want to know, and his prices are pretty reasonable. Definitely worth the drive and money for his expertise!

Wife took suv in for service had a exhaust leak and a heat sheild rattle said she could smell exhaust fumes an needed a oil change after sitting there for over 45 minutes an yes she had made appointment final get truck in shop and on the lift next they call my wife out in shop to tell her we dont have the correct oil or filter for the truck that she would have to wait a hour or more for them to order the oil an filter so she declines and asks about the exhaust tech is half stoned says he dont smell or hear a exhaust leak and cant find the source of rattle at the back on exhaust when you first start the truck so i told my wife come home i laid on ground when she hot home and changed oil myself took 20 minutes with a new filter found exhaust leak a collector was a broken bolt this bolt would have been eye level with the truck on the lift right in clear site but being stoned over there i wouldnt expect him to see it i drilled it out and replaced it my self then the heat sheild rattling was caused by a broken aluminum rivet also in plain site i did this laying on my back in our driveway with no lift in about a hour for everything avoid taking your vehicles to this place

Company claims to offer free oil changes to Veterans on Veterans Day. When we went we were turned away by the manager claiming that we booked our appointment through corporate and that he was only taking his regular customers even though we had a confirmed appointment. HORRIBLE SERVICE. WAY TO TREAT YOUR VETERANS MEINEKE !!!

We were also made fun of for making an appointment online. It was made online because it was on Labor day, when they were closed. So this guy was not nice at all about it. If its the Corporates fault, go ahead and blame them but dont be an A$$ about it. If online appts do not work, dont have it on the website anymore.

My car was running perfect but was in need of a routine oil change and I saw that the sign for their $19.99. Went in left my car there becaus I work within walking distance, picked up my car and paid. The next day I noticed that my car wasnt running the same, my A/C and heat was just blowing warm air no matter the setting, my defroster was not working in the morning, among other small things. Called to ask questions and Russ the manager was incredibly rude and disrespectful. Took my car to firestone down the street, explained the situation and they resolved the problem for free because I usually take my car to them. I will NEVER use meineke again for anything. I would rate them a 0 if I could.

I pulled in to their parking lot to drop my wife off and they guy came out while she was looking for her purse and said i was double parked .Only 2 cars there and they were ours!!!.... repost ....keep your satisfaction stuff i will never go back again there are plenty of shops around the area the guy in the front desk needs to go or this place will turn into a American Matress soon... went in for a new oil change elsewere found out this place in crest hill forgot some screws on my car ... I was there this morning. And I was very pleased with the service. Rus the Manager, was extremely nice. He was very informative, and friendly. My son and I even enjoyed his jokes . I had my back brakes replaced on the Hummer, and any parts that was needed, Rus made a phone call,and it was there in a timely manner. The cost was affordable, Which was a breathe of fresh air when trying to budget. His staff was great, very respesctful and friendly as well. Thanks Rus, you and your crew are my new mechanics!!!!

Uber had them listed on their website that they do vehicle checks. I walked in and told them why I was there and after being told they dont do the checks I was ridiculed for not calling first to check. I had no reason to believe otherwise. The customer service lacks greatly.

I wish I had read all of the reviews before I booked an appointment with this crappy service center. I made an appointment online where I entered all of my personal and car information but when I showed up they said that they had no scheduled appointment and the wait would be three hours. Why even have an online booking service if you arent going to honor it? Worst service ever.
