The windows are expensive but very nice. Unfortunately, the sales team and the tech team either dont communicate properly or they do not know the product well enough. The salesman was terrible and lied to us several times. He clearly needed more training. I think hes been fired since our purchase. The people who installed the windows did a great job, but the ones who measured before the install didnt get the measurements right or just gave us the wrong information. We ended up having to buy new blinds despite sales and techs telling us 2 inch would fit without the quarter round and 1 inch would fit with it. They were wrong. We spent $1300 on new blinds which had to be installed above the windows as an outside mount and thankfully they look better than what was there.My favorite part in this mess was when the salesman told us that there would be no tear out of the current trim but he didnt seem sure so he added to the contract that we have a right to cancel. After missing for several days, he informed us that we would have to tear out the trim and the sill. I told him were going to cancel because there was too much uncertainty. On my anniversary with my wife, he calls and threatens us saying that were past the cancellation point in the contract and well be charged if we cancel. I think the cancellation period is 3 or 5 days. It took him a week to respond to my calls and texts about the trim so it just seemed like a scam. I told him about the contract and he begged me to let his manager come to the house to look at it. The manager gave the wrong information just to save the sale, but as I said, the final product looks good after we spent the money on new blinds.Overall the windows look great but the company has been miserable to work with. The men who installed the windows were great though, thank God. 5 out of 5 stars if I didnt have to deal with sales.Would I use them again? If I save my money and get an honest salesman who knows what he is doing then maybe. We replaced a large picture window this time. Im not sure if wed spend so much for the other windows.Sales: 2/10. Installers: 10/10. Final Product: 9/10. I give the final product a 9 because I had to spend $1,300 for new blinds and have them installed outside mounted despite sales telling me 1 inch inside mounted would fit, which I could install myself. Aggravating and expensive journey but in a year I will be thinking about how nice it looks and not how difficult the process was.

They replaced my old, rotted entry door. The new door looks amazing. They paided attention to detail when installing it. Filling in any cracks, making sure everything was aligned. They were also very nice and answered all my questions. I would definitely use them again for the patio doors that I want to have done next. Highly recommend!

Since spring 2018, the flimsy plastic on our Renewal by Andersen window screens have been breaking when I attempt to remove screens to clean windows. I have been complaining to my husband to contact your company since then, but unfortunately it has taken this long to finally take action. I am highly upset with the quality of these screens that are a part of this window system that we paid over forty thousand dollars for and feel that this is a manufacturing flaw or intentional cheap make to break situation.It is confusing to me that no other reviews have complained about this; are we the only ones who’s got these type of screens or has no one else cleaned their windows? The following photos are screens that have plastic corners and support brackets around locks that have broken. I have found this to be very upsetting to pay this much for warranty for windows and then be told that there is a charge for fixing these cheaply made screens.

The installation crews were very professional and neat. They took time and care to ensure a quality installation and cleaned up after they were done. The company also sent in their own inspector to ensure the work was done properly. It did take 3 months to get all materials delivered due to the pandemic but the project coordinator kept us informed with project progress. The windows and doors are very nice! All in all, I highly recommend this company!

Sales and installation teams are professional and responsive. Windows look good. They are more expensive than others and I have not figured out what makes them stand out. I am told they add value to the home They use pre primed wood which tends to have blemishes. One must plan to do painting soon after installations. Overall I give five stars for the professionalism of the teams I had the chance to interact with. Overall it is a four star because I am unable to see additional value for a line of windows that is most expensive in the market

Lou Testone was very helpful. The window is of very high quality and it’s beautiful. The first installation crew, did a poor job in the interior trim work, so Lou had a second crew come in and redo the trim. It’s now perfect !

The team was great! They were friendly and communicative. One of the team members offered to wipe down some of my daughters toys that were near the installation site. One of the reasons I chose Anderson is because they are an American company who employ local people. They stay in touch before, during and after the installation. The installation team was extremely professional and I could tell that they take pride in their work even though they were working in 90 degree heat ! The installation coordinator was in touch throughout the process. During the installation, the sales rep checked in and an inspector arrived to make sure everything was going smoothly. I must rave about the men that came to install my front window! Andrew and his partner( sorry- I forgot his name) are craftsmen! They went above and beyond to make not only the experience awesome but their workmanship, caring, attention to detail, and wonderful attitudes made my day wonderful! I was enthralled watching them work. What looked perfectly fine to was not to them and until they deemed it perfect - which it was- they would do this or that to accomplish whatever it took. There was no pressure when we had a consultation. A few years ago I purchase Renewal By Andersen windows throughout the entire house and to this day they never fail to keep my home quiet from noise from outside, continue to keep my home heat escaping in winter and air cool in summer. The process was smooth in spite of COVID delays. Everyone was polite and handled any concerns I had, including Shawn and the lovely woman from accounting who transferred me to Shawn when I had the wrong extension. The measurement was perfect and the installer and installation was excellent.

The installers arrived promptly. The removed all the problem areas in my windows. My new windows are beautiful. The bay window has more room for my orchids. They left my house clean and even cut my ac piece so it fit in my new window.

Delicate bushes under windows were somehow left completely undamaged, and the entire house and yard were left with barely a trace that they’d even been there, installing 17 new windows on a 120-year-old farmhouse. Windows are fine but for the price they charge the service could have been better. Just a contractor like any other. Deliver date was late, minor install issues but we had to discover them, they never followed up on an install repair issue. Not the best communication.

Clockwork precision. Very prompt in their service. They arrived on time and finished all the work before the evening set in. High quality work. They even replaced wood inside where it had rotted. Tested everything. Explained the operation and working in detail. Followed up later too.

Another great experience! We started several years ago with replacing all our upstairs windows. After a few years we had our dining room done and now just completed the house. The installation team reported a defective part and we just had the repair team come and replace that part with the correct and intact piece. Definitely a positive experience.The installation crew worked well together and installed our windows in two days. They are extremely good at their profession and left the home immaculate! However, the sliding glass door we custom ordered did not arrive in time for the scheduled window install.

Nice windows BUT...Needed to replace old windows because of rotting wood. Sales rep assured me that rotted wood would be replaced; however, the new windows were installed over the rotted wood. I notified Renewal by Andersen and sent pictures to my sales rep and project manager. I waited 6 weeks for the service appointment but all he did was take pictures and told me someone would contact me. I have called and emailed the service department and my sales rep and all I get is someone will contact you. I want someone to fix the problem.

Service man came right on scheduled time. Patio sliding door was never adjusted properly on installation. It took him less that a minute to make the proper adjustments. Thank you Anderson Installer, Ed!!!

The clean up and removal of all the debris of the old units went off without a glitch. They took all the debris instead of dumping it in our common dumpster outside which impressed me very much.

I had the upper level windows installed - 4 in total - The installers left greasy dirty hand marks on all of the surrounding walls of the windows -They even cracked one of the window side walls that I needed to repairThen I ordered a set of 5 windows for the lower level but I found out that my window treatments already ordered and received could not be able to be installed as intended (I know this because the upstairs treatments had to deviate from original plans also because of the replacements )I spoke to the salesperson and told him that I would unfortunately have to cancel the new orderAt no time did he remind me to complete the cancel request in writing - so the order was going through - the credit agency green sky called me to tell me that they made a first payment to Anderson and that is how I knew that the order was not stopped - and so I went to the contract and saw the written policy on cancellation - thank goodness I looked or I would have missed the deadlineI managed the cancellation and the credit deletion on my own with back and forth callsThe office people were very nice and helpful alsoUnfortunately I won’t be making referrals to Anderson replacement to any of my real estate clientsThank you for askingNancy ferrara

The installers were very nice and polite. They were here for approx. 5 hours and did an amazing job. The door looks great and is completely airtight. They did a great job cleaning up and were very detailed with instructions on not using the door for at least 24 hours so that everything dries and sets. I would highly recommend them to anyone interested in getting a new door and having it installed properly.

I purchased a replacement picture window and it is beautiful! I live on the highway and the noise reduction alone is amazing and there is no longer any draft issues! I called Renewal by Andersen for an estimate quote. When I spoke to the individual scheduling the appointment, I made sure I told them, it was just an estimate for a sliding door and a bedroom window. Never during my call did the individual told me that when their consultant would come to the house that I had to make a decision on purchasing and/or signing a contract. On the day of consultation, the consultant was late, but I did receive a text and a call regarding the late arrival. That did not bother as I expected a late arrival due to the traffic. Finally the consultant arrived, both my husband and I were home. The consultant proceeds to ask us some questions, we lead him to the sliding door and his questions regarding what would his installer find behind the walls. Well that was perplexing as both my husband and I do not have x-ray vision. We asked it him why did it matter and he proceeds to tell us that should there be rotting behind the walls, that they (the installer) could not handle that type of work. So lets take a moment here ... we know Andersen is one of the best windows out there (I say one for now, but I am sure there are others). We also know their parts and labor are pricey. If we as a consumer are investing all this money (which btw I have not gotten into yet), then why is it that they do not have the right amount of installers that could handle not only installation but in the event there is some wood rotting, that they could also help solve the problem. Next thing to mention is that when sending over a consultant, they should look at what the work that the consumer/customer is seeking a quote on and not fuss over things that the consumer/customer did not ask for. After the consultant checked the bedroom window, he proceeded to tell us what it would eventually cost and that he was working with us on the price. This is where I think that put the nail on the wall, the well this is the price for today, so if you dont decide today, I cannot guarantee you this will be the same tomorrow or any other day. I dont know about you, but when I call businesses for a quote, I dont expect to make a decision right then and there when all I asked for was an estimated quote. Had I known before I made the appointment that both me and my husband had to say yes or or no, I would not have had them come to my house. I am sure the consultant was annoyed with us, but at the end of the day, the presentation and the lack of communication is what made us decide not to go with this company. My only suggestion to this company is that do not ASSume when a potential client is calling for an estimate that said potential client will be signing on the dotted line the day the consultant shows up, but more specifically if said potential client decides to sleep on it, if a price is quoted on the day consultation, then that same price should remain the same if the potential client calls the next day. Okay enough of my Ted Talk.

Don’t do it! Renewal by Anderson of Cranford NJ not living up to expectations! Too much money and NO customer service!! We purchased 2 doors and a window. Was told by the sales rep 6-8 weeks from measurements to installation. Company calls to schedule install for 12 weeks after measurements .. then company called 2 days before long awaited installation to cancel for “back ordered item”. Now at 14 weeks and can not get an answer when I will get my doors that are “back ordered” but supposedly built custom in the RBA factory. So disappointed!! Sales rep absent and no help, not returning corespondents. They are still taking the money out of my bank account! READ the contract! So much lingo in there even though they are breaching there are so many loop holes for them to get out of being held accountable for not delivering product in timely matter. Never again will I order from them!

We had several large picture windows replaced at our home and the sales personnel were communicative and informative. They answered all of our questions and never tried to upsell. They just made sure we had was we needed. The office people that we dealt with over the phone for scheduling and questions were amazing. This was all during COVID and we had several times that we had to cancel and reschedule. They were very understanding and happy to work with us. The installation team were prompt and incredibly respectful of our home and property. They cleaned up beautifully. They were friendly and super nice to my son who just wanted to help the guys work. And in the end we have the loveliest windows and could not be happier. Worth every penny.

This is my first of two reviews. I will start of by saying my house was built in 1885. The window replacements are long overdue. Multiple windows in my house are 50+ years old and are Anderson windows. Believe it or not they still work perfectly. The other windows are the same age but no longer work.We pulled the trigger last night and ordered the windows for the downstairs of my house. (Doing renovations in two stages) So far the experience has been wonderful. The gentleman who came over last night was great to work with. He was extremely knowledgeable and had great ideas to make our house look beautiful.For the people that think Anderson is overpriced I have one thing to say. You get what you pay for. If you want cheep this is not the company for you. If you want quality that will last, you’re in the right place.I look forward to the day the windows are installed and will be writing a follow up review.

Renewal by Anderson did an amazing job of installing our new windows. They arrived on time and completed the job in a timely manner. The cleanup was immaculate and we are very pleased with the final product.

Renewal by Anderson did an outstanding job. From the initial meeting to installation, everyone involved was highly professional, courteous, and efficient. The installation crew was incredibly meticulous, they covered the floors and furniture and kept all areas clean and safe. We are extremely happy with our choice, the windows look amazing and they really enhance the overall appearance of the house. The windows open and close with ease and precision, you can immediately feel that this is a superb product. The installers also did a great job with the inside trim and the outside flashing and caulking.

Team arrived on time as scheduled and stayed on task until completion. They cleaned up the work area after the job. They showed true professionalism. Handle of the storm door came off after the team left but they came back the next day to correct it.

RBA are a little more expensive than a lot of window companies, BUT they are absolutely worth it. The installers (Carey and Dimitri) were super friendly, professional, prompt and courteous and left my home immaculate - not a trace of dust or dirt.The product is far superior to the rest of the market. The guarantee is better than their competitors.I cant recommend them highly enough and will absolutely have them back to replace the rest of my windows soon.

From start to finish, Renewal by Andersen has an excellent team of customer service and installation techs. It’s important that you have some time to spare with the initial in home appointment. Listening to what your salesman has to say helps you understand what/how/why Andersen is the best company for your project. Once you’ve had your initial appointment and chosen Andersen you’ll have someone come out to measure the exact dimensions and the windows are made specifically for your home so it takes about a month to receive them. The installation team I had was extremely efficient, clean, and courteous. Took just 2 hours from start to finish. They laid drape cloths down, wore booties on their shoes so they didn’t ruin my hardwood floors, and cleaned up EVERY bit of debris left from my project. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone considering window/door replacement.

Patio Door was cracked due to debris from a roof installation which hit the door while mowing the lawn. Door was replaced. No problems.

Great service from start to finish. Thought we had a leak. They came out as promised. Diagnosed and corrected the potential problem. Very pleased.
