This is the 3rd time I’ve come at night and there are home made closed signs on the door. Are you guys ever open?! Ridiculous 😡

I was able spend less .only shopping at Dollar general very good prices.

The appearance has improved drastically which makes the visit less stressful. Last visit there was no debit payments, cash only this was definitely not good or fair customer service .I am regular customer because its convenvient.

Ridiculous to charge a fee to get money when I use my debit card. The cashier is not going to another location or even another drawer to get my money...its all one transaction. Take a lesson from the big stores!!!

Its the dollar store... Had what I needed at a good price. No complaints.

Clean, well-lit location. Good parking lot. Store has wide selection. Only a few items unmarked for price. I really like their self-checkout kiosk - easy to use and really fast.

Manager on site was superb, had some questions about certain products and his help was beyond my expectations. Terrific Man!

Wish they would do a better job of cleaning up the aisles. Prices are not as good as you would hope. Have a wide selection of all kinds of items. Not a bad place to browse if you are bored and local.

Not a dollar store. I went into this store thinking there will be dollar items. Instead, I found all the items were priced the same or more than any other store. I do not recommend.

Their cashier was nice and the quality of the products is amazing.

Went in the other day - place definitely needed a broom - looked like they would stock an aisle and leave trash on the floor moving to the next - not very eye appealing for first time visitor - if this had been my 1st time there, it would have gotten one star at best 🙁

The line was wrapped around the store, people were standing online on top of each other in time of covid! There was only 1 cashier. Badly managed store. No wipes for carts, should be a sign shop at your own risk!

Dollar General has great pricing BUT paying for purchases takes way too long as there always only one cashier working every time I visit😡

This store should be close down this store is never packed I mean everything everywhere no associates to ask anything, freight on the floor no one working it, management need to visit this store to see if this is Dollar General standards this deserves 0 stars.

Nice lay out but the register had 35 people in line with one register open.

This is a large store (about the size of a suburban supermarket) with a fairly good selection of items, but not as large as a supermarket. What brings customers in is the prices. Dollar General has big discounts on all its items. This is very important in upscale Cranford, where stores tend to be rather expensive. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I like shopping here.

Very clean, well lit, well stocked store. Very easy to shop. Sad though many prices are well over $1.00

How i spent $74 at a dollar store on just a few items is beyond me. Prices are decent but not a total bargain.

A good place to buy core items on the cheap. Carries mainly household merchandise. Has lots of parking spaces.

Got some beautiful photo frames there at a reasonable price. I also picked up some self-inking rubber stamps. They were a bit of a disappointment. They ink was rather faint. Possibly they had been in storage somewhere that caused them to dry out.

Its Dollar General. Lots of cheap stuff. Everything is NOT just a dollar. I have learned not to buy anything electrical in such stores. I once almost burned down my garage using a cheap three pronged adapter. Lesson learned. You can find an incredible variety of inexpensive stuff here especially if it is a one time use item. Be cautious with items you will eat or drink out of. Most things sold in these stores are from a country where standards and regulations are not very strict.

First time here. Girl on register was whack and bitter. But the manager was SO nice.

Nice place, need more cash registers open when busy

Not an actual dollar store, but items are generally lower than supermarket. Has a little bit of everything from soup & coffee to paper towels & garbage bags. Big card selection. And much more. Good hours, I believe theyre open 10 to 10. Good staff. And usually on Saturdays they offer a $5 discount (if you spend $25) coupon if youve shopped during the week or online. That is one thing that keeps me coming back weekly.

They have what you need at a good price. More items and diversity of products than I thought they would have many of which are much more competitively priced then I would see in a regular supermarket.

Nice little store for you to pick up little things you need around the house for various reasons. Good prices and well stocked items.

Seems out of place in downtown Cranford but it serves it purpose. Its a Dollar General folks.

Just had an annoying experience because the credit card reader stopped working so I stood in line for 20 minutes while the cashier endlessly kept trying to swipe another customers card with no success. Eventually I left my items and walked out.
