They recommended a specific setup and new exactly what our home needed and where to not overspend. I was impressed by the clean removal of our old rusty furnace and really happy with the professional install of our new American Standard AC and furnace.

Last month George and his crew installed a mini-split system in our house and we could not be happier with the experience. Their work was top notch and they were very professional. The price was reasonable too especially considering theyre the only Diamond -certified Mitsubishi installer in the area. Beyond that, the crew was super nice, respectful of our home, and very easy to work with. I cant recommend these guys enough!

This review is long overdue, but as we sit here enjoying our A/C in 90-degree heat -- we are reminded how wonderful George & his team were to work with! Last summer, in the heat of August while 9 months pregnant, we called George for an estimate. Our home had window units that just werent cutting it! He was very responsive & spent a good deal of time looking over the property talking through the options with us. In the end, we decided to go with a mini-split system & we couldnt be happier! George helped us plot out the exact location of each unit to ensure it didnt interfere with our overall aesthetics of the house, and his team took great care in installing them. When we ran into some issues filing for our energy rebate from the state, George jumped in to help on that too. Youll be in great hands with Stay Cool, highly recommend!

We were in a bind due to a downed tree wrecking my AC during a heat wave. George came over and was very professional. He quickly identified the problem and even went step by step to explain what we needed and what we didnt need. Once the systems were in, we were feeling cool again in no time. They even came back the next day to regulate some fuses that were incorrect and fix the humidifier on the zone that they didnt even work on. Definitely recommend them for your HVAC needs!

BUYER BEWARE! BUYERS REMORSE! I hired George and Stay Cool Heating & Cooling as I was looking for an honest & reliable contractor who I could count on for years to come. After installing my replacement HVAC equipment last summer, he and his team were nowhere to be found. George had promised to assist me in claiming my state-funded rebates and even insisted that he’d take care of it due to the amount of paperwork they ask to submit. Upon the months following my install, I could not get a call back from George or his team via his direct cell phone or calling the main number to the office trying to follow up on the rebates. Voicemails and messages were left unanswered. Only 5 months after the installation did George return my call and offered to send me a check for the unfiled claims with the state (you have 180 days to file from install). Still nothing was sent to me. One year later, I spoke with George again after leaving a very frustrated voicemail and he repeated the same, that he would send me a check. Two months after this phone call, still nothing was received. I see a lot of positive reviews here so I’m not sure if you all have received your rebates with George’s help and this is just some form of discrimination against me. This is an easily resolvable situation but has ended up with much frustration. I would not recommend George and his team to anyone.

I had been a customer since 2006. George T. was referred by a friend after a bad experience from other companies. George was very honest, straightforward and explain in words thats easy to understand to people who had no idea about HVAC. He help me work around my budget at that time (2006)that I dont have much to spend. I am very lucky to meet George. I know just a few minutes talking to him that I can trust him. 14 years ago, he told me that my HVAC unit that he repaired (2006)will last me at least 10 yrs or so and I was able to stretch it out 4 years more. After COVID surge slows down towards the end of May I called George again but his schedule was full and I told him that I will wait until he has open schedule to check both my heating and A/C. Finally, to make it short I have it done. As with other reviews from his customers, George and his assistant was very efficient, no mess clean installation. Takes time to explain what they did and very consistent. If you are around the area of Georges Company, I highly recommend calling him for HVAC needs.

I would highly recommend Stay Cool to anyone considering installation of a Split System of cooling and heat pump capability.George the Owner, Evan and Tim provided a system that met our needs and then some. I currently rely on my oil fueled hot water and steam system for all of my heating needs until I had this system installed early November of 2019 (my home is of the 1923 vintage with limited space for conventional ducting of central air). To my astonishment I fired up my boiler only a handful of times this heating season, relying primarily on the heat pump ability of the newly installed system. My projected savings should be over $1000 this heating season. In addition I now have a fully air conditioned home with 6 separate units and 2 external compressor units. The entire system is extremely quiet and only required 3 days for full installation, I was originally concerned about the exterior look of feed lines to these units, but thanks to George, the lay out he envisioned minimized the impact, and consolidated lines. The work was clean and minimally invasive. The workmanship was equally impressive. When it came to the installation, George and Evan worked with us to ensure that we were not disturbed while we were working from home. They explained each component of the system and what each day of work would entail. They finished ahead of schedule and they were always available to answer our questions about the operation of the new system. When we used the system for the first time when it hit 80+ degrees, everything worked great. George and Evan are true professionals and we would highly recommend them to anyone doing HVAC work on their home.

George ALWAYS comes through! He saved the day again today. I tried to install a WiFi enabled thermostat myself, only to find that I couldn’t do it. I called and George not only called back, but was at the house within a few minutes and had everything working a few minutes after that! I could not possibly ask for more. George, Evan & team were fantastic. We had them re-imagine and update a poorly designed central HVAC solution in our attic which serviced the 2nd and third floors of our 100 year old home. They were very creative, and solved a rather complex issue in a very professional and well-thought out manor.We also discussed air conditioning solutions for a part of our house that did not have central air/duct work. After discussing all of the different options & costs we went with the ductless mini-splits and are very happy with the decision that we made. All of their work was of extremely high quality, very clean and priced competitively. These guys were great. I had about six estimates and every vendor had a different way to replace my attic gas furnace and a/c unit. Stay Cool had the best solution. No they were not the cheapest but they were the best value. The salesman was also the installer and he was the only person to measure the attic door to make sure the unit would fit up the stairs. He fully explained what he was going to do and gave me a detailed estimate. He arrived on time and removed the old unit and cleaned up the entire installation area. Overall a painless experience. I would recommend him and I will use him again. One thing that stood out was the number of other vendors that used professional salesmen. Some of the salesmen had no idea what they were selling and others had a unique way of performing the job. With Stay Cool, the fellow who sold me the system was the fellow who installed the system. He also installed the Nest thermostat and the system works well.

These guys were great customer service above and beyond. My air went out on a Friday night they came out and installed a new unit on Saturday while I was not at home. They took there time and did a great job. On Monday the sent a man to clean all my air ducts. I was happy to pay the bill. I would recommend them to anyone any time. Great Job !!

We found George about 2.5 years ago when we needed to install A/C in to our cape cod. Everyone that came to our home told us that we couldn’t have A/C installed because of the style of home we had. George was able to find a way to get the job done and our house cooks perfectly on the hottest of days.This morning we went to turn on our heat and it wouldn’t kick on. I knew just who to call. Stay Cool has serviced my home HVAC (two zones) for about 6 years, the last few of which George, the owner of Stay Cool, has helped me out by keeping me from the expense of a new compressor, but not even George could prevent the inevitable. So, when my first floor/lower level unit failed, I texted George and he called me back immediately. He soon after came to me house and he explained to me all my options, all the related work and the pricing. Given the cost to replace with a new Carrier 3.5 ton 16 SEER unit, with all new lines, etc., I did obtain other estimates. Among others, Stay Cool has popped up on Mitsubishis website as one of the local Diamond tier installers that offer extended warranty.I was a little wary about all the good reviews I read online about the company. Maybe a bit too good to be true, but have decided to give them a chance.Estimates:Depending from the size of the company, I had two types of people showing for estimates. Small company - owner, larger company - salesman. The estimate prices vary substantially. I admit, my old house was not an easy task to solve regarding multi zone system install.Then George from Stay Cool showed up. He was very to the point and in his particular style came up with ideas that made the most sense to me. I know that he was coming up with the solutions from his vast experience in the field. I felt confident accepting his offer.Installation:The work that Evan, George and young guy whose name I forgot was very professional, clean and quick. I recently bought a home that had some serious AC issues. The AC wasn’t working, the furnace/blower was undersized and the positioning of the equipment was illogical. Worse yet, the hvac company that initially installed it (one of those over-advertised companies) was charging a $89 service fee just to take a look at it.Luckily, I found George thru a word of mouth referral. George replaced all the equipment with high efficiency units, enlarged the return duct, and kept all piping/ lines out of sight, which made for a very clean and neat install.George treated the install as if he were doing it for his own home. Don’t even think about taking a chance with those big companies; stick with the quality and fairness that George provides.

They installed my new furnace and did a very good job. My furnace broke in February and 3 calls over two days and no response. Could have many outages and i get that. Not even a call back though? That takes 2 minutes. Prior to this i recommended them to friends and colleagues.

This is an excellent HVAC company. They replaced a broken 25 y/o Rheem system w new Carrier for our 95 y/o colonial on short notice w 100 deg heat wave coming. The work done is perfect, house cools quickly and evenly. They did not upsell or oversell. Cost was within expectations. Left zero mess behind. Responsive and easy to talk to.
