Signed up for the UNLIMITED data/ phone / text, plan with the purchase of a new phone for 57 bucks a month. Their unlimited data hook is a LIE. There is a limit to how much data you consume. Youll know when youve hit the unlimited limit when your internet browser becomes useless because they THROTTLE YOUR DATA DOWN TO A TRICKLE. Imagine watching the spinning circle thing for 5 minutes simply trying to watch a 10 minute YouTube video. Then when the video finally starts playing? It stops every 5 to 10 seconds to load. Sorry, throttling data is not unlimited data. Its a lie and stay away from this garbage.Im locked in for two years with these crooks now.

I was so excited about Puretalk with its low rates because I am 67 years old and unable to work due to health issues and my husband is 68 and working two jobs. When I called them trying to get setup, I also ordered a new iPhone. When it arrived, it only had 64GB. Then I realized that Customer Support had not even mentioned the number of GBS on the phone. I’m not good with technology, so I didn’t think to ask. So I called to return it. I got 3 or 4 different stories as to whether it was eligible for return. One rep claimed I had had it too long (which was only a few days), so it wasn’t eligible. Another representative said it was eligible, then another said it wasn’t. Different stories from them all. I finally decided to return it. I never had used it but to set it up and make a couple of calls. In the meantime, I bought an iPhone directly from Apple.Today, I called to see when I would get my money back. Of all things, the rep claimed that it had a deep scratch in the top right hand corner, so I would not be reimbursed. I couldn’t believe it! If there was a scratch on it, they put it there. And of course, I didn’t think to take a picture of it because in my day, companies were honest. I am so upset. Now, they said they would return it to me. But what am I supposed to do with it if it has a deep scratch? I really need some help with this. On top of all that, their customer service is extremely slow, and one rep was very, very rude. Broken-hearted.

Can’t text MMS from iPhone nor text in group chat that has non iPhone users.Worst customer service ever encountered. Took more than 1 hrs to get to a real person and then was transferred to tech support and then nothing. Had to call again which was put on hold for another 1 hour. Still waiting... seems like no customer service at all.

I do not know why there are negative reviews on here for Pure Talk? The only issue I had was trying to get my voice mail set up. Yes, it did take 4 or 5 calls to get it done, but in the end...it was fixed! If you call early in the morning then you will not be kept long on the line. Pure Talk offers a great deal for an MVNO. Everything works as it should including wifi calling. I cannot be happier.

Like many other reviews, customer service sucked and after given a ticket number, still did not receive a refund. I thought I would give them a try but after my cellular service assured me my phone was unlocked, it wasnt. I never got to use the service but based on my complaints and previous reviews, Im glad I did not switch.

Horrible! In all honesty, there are too many things to mention in this review but Ill do my best.• We waited about 7 days to receive the phone after they promised two-day delivery.• Activation took an additional two days because there were many problems on their part.• Phone worked about half day before having network connectivity problems• Spent about 7 hours throughout the following week with phone support trying various settings and commands...the whole time without a phone!• After begging them to ship me a new phone they told me to ship my phone to them to see if it could be repaired. If it could be repaired they would ship it back to me.• No one in customer support has authority to do anything. When you ask for a supervisor they push you off to someone else after pretending to help you.• After nearly 6 weeks of complete frustration I received a refund for the phone.• After getting my refund, PureTalk still debited our card for the monthly bill.• No store front to resolve problems.• Very hard time to reach anyone and you can spend minutes before anyone even answers the phone.Im leaving so much out of my very frustrating ordeal. I would not recommend PureTalk to anyone. It was shocking how bad it was. Im curious if they are doing bad financially?Stay Far Away!!

This company has the worse customer service reps. There is not even a tel. # on the website for customer service??? I had to eventually go online and look up the number after I called tech support (got the number off my paperwork) where Myer puts me on hold multiple times then the phone hangs up because she couldnt answer my question. Then I call again speak to another rep in tech support who couldnt answer my question either then says she will transfer me to customer service then the phone hangs up??? I call again speak to Kenyetta who I asked to speak to a manger who says none are available so I said I will just wait, been on hold for 40 minutes now and still counting. I will be looking to switch both of my phones in the future. I rather pay more for better customer service. Beware if you think of coming over to Pure Talk USA.

The customer service is atrocious. They greet you as if you are an inconvenience to them as if you are wasting their time. The tect guy yesterday treated me as if I was an illiterate. They are amazing before you get the service, but they are very indifferent and condescending afterward. I dont care how cheap this inferior service is, this is a one month affair. I have had nothing but problems with the service since day one. Unfortunately, Ill have to phone them again this morning with another tecnical issue. By the way when you cant get an issue resolved the supervisors are too busy to speak to you. I cant believe how much I hate this phone company

The price is low but the cost is high. I had an issue where I could make phone calls and send and receive texts but could never receive a phone call. I covered literally thousands of miles of the US, and even when I had four bars signal strength I could not receive a call. I spent at least 15 hours with tech support and customer service, and each time I called it was like a brand new issue. You wait forever, and then the agent cant seem to find all the details of your prior call even when you give them the issue number. Once they tried to send a new SIM and then forgot to, and the next tie they sent it to the wrong address. Then, to cancel, you have to call them. They say it because they need cancellation to be secure. But they are happy to take my credit card details for payment on their web site, so basically the are full of it and just want to make it difficult. Do yourself a favor and find a different option, even if you need to pay a bit more.

Ive been with them for several months now and half the time my data doesnt work properly because the towers are fluctuating so bad that I cant do anything and it burns through my data that Im paying premium price for and then Im stuck with even worse data connection because then Im on the slowed down version. I saw on the website where it said that I could get 6gb for $30 this plan now $15 monthly for this plan and thats not true. thats only for your first month even though it says monthly meaning consecutive months their website is wrong and they will not honor it.

Worst phone service I have used in my entire life. 4g coverage is non existent even with bars data & calls were so unreliable. Customer service is the absolute worst, long hold times no matter what time you call. And to top it off they refused to let me port my phone # to another carrier, kept asking to be transferred to porting department and kept getting transferred right to their horribly rude customer service reps. Finally got the number ported to another carrier. Please stay away from this carrier.

SIM card went bad after 2 months. I immediately called customer service and requested replacement and it was not delivered until 8 days later!!! That is way too long to be without a phone especially when that is ones livelihood!!!!

Customer service very bad, I had some problems, waiting about 40 minutes and after 2 minutes talking, they sent me back to the line about 30 minutes started another person, I had to explain same again and after 2 minutes talking they sent me back to the line again, after that I couldn’t get to them because they’re close for that day

Ive been with them several months. The customer service waits are ENORMOUS. If you dont mind waiting long periods of time on the phone for help, you will be satisfied with PureTalk. I cant retrieve my voicemails, and I have been on hold right now for 21 minutes for a customer service rep at 1:00 pm on a Thursday to fix the problem...okay, now its 22 minutes on hold. Follow-up... It took me 1 hour 20 minutes on the phone to retrieve my voicemails.

Strong signal most of the time. There are a few dead spots here and there but they are also dead for ATT. Setup was easy and billing is simple too! 2 out of 4 bars in my basement and the speed test pic is attached (but I dont know where!!! LOL ) to this review. Waterford Michigan. I heard about PureTalk USA from a radio show. I was an ATT customer and the PureTalk rep said they use the ATT network so my user experience would be just as good but cheaper. Was that ever NOT the truth! You get second rate service from the ATT cell towers as PureTalk is a reseller and first priority on the towers is given to ATT customers. That means if the tower is loaded, your call gets dropped. The customer support is horrible and rude! And when they say theyll call you back, they dont... except for Kelsey... shes the only one there that does what she says. I dont usually give bad reviews, but this has been so bad. Im switching away.

Horrible customer service. Puretalk sent notice out that they would charge an additional fee for taxes beginning in February. Received notice today that my payment was late. There is no invoice to view with updated charges and apparently they only have one manager that is not available and the other one is on vacation. So to make it clear, they want me to blindly pay for a service they have not provided a legitimate bill for. But I shouldnt worry, they threaten with cutting my service off tomorrow, but will have the only person in the company call me back in the next 24-48 hours. I do believe it is illegal to charge a customer for services without the proper documentation to support the increase....Oh yeah and the website is not working either.

Very good company! Especially with their employees. There is a lot of changes since I have worked here but I always liked not having to do the same thing over and over so change is good. The work enviroment is steady and I always feel comfortable around my coworkers and leads/supervisors. Everyone is so generous even in human resources. Ive been here since October 2016 and I couldnt love another work place other than Life Wireless/Puretalk USA.

Disgusting and very unethical company. You know how they make money? I only used PureTalk once or twice for my visiting family memeber who needed a temporary phone. I called to recharge balance and never again used the service again (this is a non-contract phone company right?). Many months later I got to find out they have been taking out money from my bank account every month and I never used their service, heck I threw away the phone ever since! This is so wrong. shame on you.
