I was a gymnast here 1 to 2 years ago. I had a very bad experience. I was trying to do a task and the Coach left me in a area myself to learn by myself. She was only with the people who knew how to do the task. The point is they left there students in a area to learn by there selves. I think if my parents pay them to help me and coach me they should coach me like there suppose.I don’t recommend this place at all.

Caring and supportive staff. The owners work hard to provide a safe and fun learning environment. They truly care about everyone and run the gym with incredible integrity.

My daughter came here while she was in high school to learn gymnastics and dances. Bc she was a competition cheer leader

Taught my daughter beginning gymnastics and was very patient with her.

I loved it and the coaches and the people. They have so much equipment to work with.

My daughters team is much better off without J Mo. Her kid hardly ever came to practice and now the team is much better off without her. Thanks to the coaches for weeding out the ones who dont show a commitment and miss way too many practices. This is the best gym.

My family was very disappointed with Newton CheerStarz. This place is unprofessional and unorganized. So many kids were injured, some severely, under the care of the owner/coach during the year my daughter attended. We paid a large amount for competition fees (for 4 competitions) and only attended one because the coach continued to pull the team out saying they are not ready. It occurred to me, having been a dance coach for many years that if they were not ready perhaps she wasnt doing her job very well. We were never refunded for any of the competitions that never happened. During the cheer season, none of our phone calls or emails were ever returned (VERY unprofessional), too many last minute decisions were made (like practice times, etc) and not communicated to ALL of the team and parents creating a great deal of confusion. The only good thing about Newton Cheer Starz is the tumbling coaches (I dont know their names but there are a few young men there who did teach our daughter a few things she can now use on her school cheer team, as we will NOT be back to NCS). Lastly, the owner is a very mean and caddy woman. She treated the girls very badly and was even VERY nasty to the moms and dad (who pay her bills)! Ever hear the expression dont bite the hand that feeds you? I am a business owner myself and would NEVER treat a customer in that manner and any employee who did would be unemployed. I believe in supporting local business and wanted to give this school a fair try but I am very disappointed and would encourage people to do your homework before you choose to send your child here. I know many families who are not going back.
