The course is in really good condition. The greens are fast but they are rolling extremely well. I had a good time today.

We drove 72 miles to play this course. Great course, very accommodating staff. Greens were soft and in good shape. Fairways and the first cut of rough were nice and the course was very appealing to the eye. The course had a lot of tempting tee shots that would lead to a penalty if not executed correctly! It was fun & I will definitely come back!

Im 70 years old and I dont hit it very far anymore . The white tees at The Oaks are still a reasonable challenge for me . The course is in great shape with lush fairways and smooth fast greens . Ill be back !

From the very start in the Pro Shop. We felt welcomed. It my adult son and my first time golfing in Georgia and he has just moved here for work. We will be making this our regular spot. Thank you all for a great day!!

The course is a nice layout with holes that vary widely - right-to-left, left-to-right, straight, long, short.... Multiple tee boxes provide options for all skill levels. The greens were in great shape - rolling fast and true. The fairways and tee boxes were in good shape given the amount of play that is occurring. The practice range and balls are for warmup only - not really practice. I always enjoy my round and will come back to play again at The Oaks.

This is a very nice, wide open, public course. Probably the nicest 18-hole golf course weve seen lately. Its easy to walk with very few hills. Wide fairways. Challenging holes. Well maintained. Minimal OBs. We enjoyed our time there.

Course was in great condition. However I popped a tendon in my arm at the range and didnt get to enjoy playing my scheduled round. I ended up assisting my partner to a -3 for 18 with some caddie help. Looking forward to my next attempt after healing up.

Came from pretty far away to play and I was blown away at how great of shape the course was in. The fairways and the greens were some of the best Ive ever played. Staff had things running smooth and were very helpful.

Greens were a bit slow but course was in great shape. The staff is awesome! Makes you feel welcome each time.

The course was in good shape and the starter got us out ahead of time so we wouldn’t follow a large group which apparently plays slow. And that turned out to be the case.

The course is nice and in good condition. It has some challenging holes that are fun.My one suggestion would be to mark the tee boxes better, especially the first hole. These markers are not obvious and can be difficult to locate.

Well run and Covid protocols are superior to any course in the area. Greens are fast but everything is wet in the South now.

Played The Oaks Course on 7/21/20 at 8:40 AM. Easy online booking, easy check in and a bargain at $39 during the week. Really relaxed atmosphere with golfers from all walks of life. Its a shorter course, but the layout is fun and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality & speed of the greens. Round was a little slow with a few groups of septuagenarians in front of us, who were allergic to repairing their ball marks! The Oaks would make an excellent stop on your way from Atlanta to Augusta if you are coming in for the Masters.

Greens are awesome and very fast. Fairways are getting dry and hard in places. As usual, staff are great. Lots of traffic. Food service is open. One person per cart. They are using shallow cups on greens which is a great alternative.It’s winter now but greens are like carpets- fast and smooth. Some fairway areas are a bit thin!

Course was in good shape and the Greens were excellent. Pace of play was not a problem for a Sunday. Good value good track!

The course is in normal winter mode. But it is still well-kept, tidy and fun! A pleasant course to walk.

The course, orginally designed by Bobby Jones, has an interesting layout. Overall, the course was in great shape, particularly the greens. Tees were a bit hard, however, and traps had not been raked (in part because they have removed the rakes). Only real complaint was the slow pace of play, which was surprising given that it was a Wednesday morning.

The course was in great condition. The greens were smooth and the fairways were almost divot free. Its obvious they have put in real work making the course beautiful. Everyone is friendly here.

I have grown up playing here, one of my favorite and most challenging holes is number 4. its a short par three that takes skill to land on the green as well as to make the put on the gradual decline. Great and friendly staff!

This course is in perfect condition! Considering the heat here in GA its really amazing. Hot Dogs are great and the greens are wicked! Pace of play was great as well.

The Oaks Golf Club, Covington, Ga has the absolute best greens I have played this year. Not only are they true but it’s obvious this course takes extra pride in greens and fairways. Throughout the entire round each hole was as consistent as the previous, Simply exceptional. The pace of play of play was also very consistent, didn’t have to wait on any holes. Staff were very polite and professional; felt like we we’re truly welcomed. OUTSTANDING Experience, can’t wait to go back and play again-don’t miss this one you will love the course.

Great Value golf course. A very fun more traditional style golf course that the Atlanta area needs more of. It was refreshing to hit a slightly off line tee shot and not have to look for it in some dense forest. And when you do hit an errant tee shot you can most likely find it in a cleaned out well maintained forest area and play a rescue shot. Greens are in great shape, decent speed and rolls well. Run off areas around greens are also in great shape. You get nice lies and because of that have the ability to play different shots. Fun Mix of tee shots from draw’s to Cut’s to lay ups and some risk reward’s taking off corners for more distance. My friends and I were really excited we found this course. We are in the 1-6 handicap range and we still find that most Atlanta courses are just not that fun because you spend half your time looking for tee shots.

Stopped here on the way from Columbia to Columbus, GA for a mid-trip round, as it was a convenient location minutes off the Interstate.Great course. The greens were absolutely immaculate. Best I’ve seen. Course layout was friendly but remained a challenge. Staff was extra friendly and allowed me to start on Hole 10 since I was a single and the first tee was getting backed up with groups.All in all a great course, great staff, and a great experience. I’ll definitely be back.

Very well maintained course. One of the best public courses Ive played this summer. Tee times are very accomodating for the hot summer months as you can get a tee time as early as 7:00am and finish before it really gets hot.The greens are fast and although on the surface my appear easy, there are very few straight in putts. Most of the greens have subtle breaks or mutliple breaks that challenge you.Although the course may not be the longest out there, there are a few par 5s any many par 4s. Also, there are enough dog leg right and left holes for the more experience golfer as well as water to hit over to challenge your mental game.Course offers discounts for seniors and veterans and adding all things upfor the price, tee times offered and the maintenace of the course, I think this course has a lot to offer for a public course.

Fun course. Greens were outstanding! Rest of the course was pretty good considering it was April. The price was nice! The staff was friendly. Reallly liked the air hose outside the door to clean up before going inside. The only strange thing was a dog was in the clubhouse.

The course was in great shape. The staff was terrific as well .It was a special round as four generations of our family were able to play for the first time together. Ages 8 -84 had a terrific family memory from this enjoyable day at The Oaks!

Outstanding Golf Course. The course is well maintained. Fairways and greens are outstanding. Challenging but not to the point of being frustrating. Great course for the average to above average golfer. Would recommend anyone who plays somewhat regularly put this course on their courses to play list.

Very nice course for the money! The greens were in great shape. We couldnt figure them out, but thats more about me being bad at golf than the course. Staff was very friendly and the pace of play was wonderful. I would give this course five stars if it werent for the fact that every single water cooler was empty along the course. Thats gotta be fixed, especially without a beverage cart. Overall though, if youre on the fence, you wont regret it.

We had our Memorial there in March, the clubhouse seats 150 people. The owner came to check in on her employees and to make sure our arrangements were working out for us. How thoughtful she was. During our guess speaker discourse in the background the sunset was setting with magenta hues as we sat looking toward the windows. The green grass and trees made that night even more special. There was ample parking for our guest while some golfers were still outside.

Was looking for a day out with my nephew who is a Marine and I cant say enough about the staff and all involved with our day. Not only did mother nature cooperate but the condition of the course was exceptional. I honestly have to say this is my new favorite course.

I take my 12yr old son there to play several times a year and staff is very friendly and knowledgeable to all of our questions since I know very little about golf. I highly recommend this course because it’s well maintained and friendly staff .

Designed by Bobby Jones, the Oaks Golf Club will get every club out of your bag. Kudos to the course industry pros for immaculate Greens in winter temps. Even though it was Easter weekend the staff was working professionally and quickly to accommodate the visitors coming in for the Masters.This course has been around a long time, but is a great play.

Super slick greens! A tad pricey but not bad. Loved the course but some jerk spit sunflower seeds on every green. Always a good experience there and play was not slow at all despite being busy. Maybe the grounds crew could hit the greens with the blower every few hours but we had a great time and will be back.

This very friendly Golf Course has great greens, awesome Georgia character with flowers and an abundance of soft and hard wood trees. Also the food in the restaurant grill is wonderful.
