We called as washer would not spin. They came at about 5:30pm. He walked into my laundry room just looked at the washer he did not even turn the washer on to see what was wrong. Said it was the control panel without even looking. Did go onto check all of my appliances in my home telling me Kris what should be done how much it would cost to fix or add parts to make it last longer. I asked if he was going to check the washer and said didnt need to. Told me different types of washers to buy. He was here maybe 15 minutes and tried to sell be a brush for my fridge and then said would just charge a service call of $93.50. not happy at all with this service and would not recommend them to anyone. Just like some of the other reviews, we left several messages over the course of a month after paying $300 up front for a new part. This is also after we paid over $1,000 to have someone come and fix/extend the life of a number of appliances (trying to get the appointments scheduled and the timeline figured out was difficult at that point). None of the issues seemed to be solved satisfactorily in the initial fix, which is why we had someone come out again. However, we never got calls back, and we eventually gave up. We plan to go elsewhere.

I will never use Appliance Specialists again. Highly mismanaged and totally no regard for customer time.I call for an appointment on a Monday, they told me they could fit me in on Friday. I asked what was the time frame or window because my time is valuable to me. They informed me that someone would call me between 9-10 and give a two hour window.Friday came and no one called me, I was busy around the house so I waited until 1230 and call Appliance Specialist and ask them what was going on? She got ahold of the repair man and he told them he tried to call me? REALLY in this day and age everyone has answer machines and the ability to see who called or tried to call. Then the lady ask me for my phone number and address? Why, you had all that info on Monday.... I understand errors and mistakes, we are all human but please do not lie to me, that is dishonest and I do not want my house working on my stuff.. CALL SOME ONE ELSE, who are prompt and honest...

Very poor customer service - completed their website repair request on Monday and did not receive any confirmation e-mail (checked spam also). Gave up and called company on Tuesday and they said they did have the service request and a technician would be out on Wednesday. I asked for an approximate arrival time so I could plan my day, was told they make out the schedule on the day of the call and would contact me. Took the day off and waited, no call, finally at 1pm a technician calls and says he wont be coming until Thursday. Then decides he can diagnose the problem over the phone and expects me to know the technical terms of the machine. Tells me it is a bad bearing and I need to buy a new machine. Called the company and went to voice mail, asked for a call back, no call back or acknowledgement. Called and of course the owner or manager were not available. Another company is coming out shortly to solve the problem. Very displeased with the lack of customer service. Rated with 1 star but in reality the rating should be minus 3 stars.

Contacted Homedpot where we bought our dryer. went out after 3 years after purchase. Got a phone # of repair guy from them but this guy was booked up for 2 months so he gave us the # of Appliance Specialist, Husband called them and they tore apart dryer. But it was going to take 10 days to get part from Korea, Weeks went by with many phone alls and no response. Oh by the way we had to pay him $200 up front for the part, Never heard from him after many calls and so after 2 months my husband looked on u tube and found out how to fix it. Got the part the same day for $135.00 and had it fixed and working that night. So beware this guy will steal your money. Its 6 months with we have never had a return call from him, And he has never answered his phone. We moved over here from the East side and have had nothing but bad service on house repairs. Please be ware. Id also give this company a -3 stars.
