The following is my experience with Bladen and Vanguard Information Technology Solutions for the past month and a half and counting.“My best advice for anyone looking for computer repair is to avoid this place like the plague. Bladen is unprofessional, uncommunicative, and has no regard for the value of other people’s time. When my desktop no longer turned on, I began searching for local computer repair shops and came across Vanguard Information Technology Solutions. I reached out and corresponded with Bladen, the proprietor, to set up an appointment. Through text, Bladen informed me to drop off my computer at his apartment. Things were weird from the very beginning as Bladen was not there when I arrived to drop off the computer for diagnosis at our scheduled time on 6/24. Instead, an older couple opened the door and asked me to fill out an order request. Bladen and I did maintain contact via text, and his diagnosis progressed from motherboard replacement to a simple case replacement. I communicated that given this is an old machine, I am capping repair cost at $300, and would opt to not repair at all if costs went over. Fast forward to 7/7, Bladen updated me that repair was almost complete. Since then, he has repeatedly pushed back delivery date but failed to communicate that fact to me until I actively reached out for an update, at times maintaining radio silence for days on end. By 7/26, I relayed to him that I was picking up the computer that following Friday, regardless of whether it has been fixed or not. He agreed and asked me to call him when I plan on arriving. By Friday, he pushed delivery to Saturday, and then failed to pick up my call on Saturday. Having had enough, I dropped by the apartment and sure enough, neither Bladen nor my computer was there. Despite my numerous failed attempts to contact him, he picked up immediately when the older gentleman at the apartment tried to reach him for me. Bladen then told me to come back Sunday and has since been unresponsive to my attempts to reach him. I have repeatedly tried to reach him to no avail, and saw numerous notes posted by other clients begging for him to contact them during a recent trip to his shop. His voicemail is now also full, so there are evidently many other clients also in the same predicament as me. Bladen has wasted hours of my time sending me on empty runs, fails to return my calls, and replied to only 50% of my texts. He has since ghosted me and is still holding my computer hostage, a month and half into this fiasco. I am at my wits end and will proceed to file a police report as a final resort if I do not hear back from him soon. Save yourself the stress and stay away from this guy.

My pc wasn’t working for some reason, so I dropped it off at vanguard to see what was up with it. The people there said they should have a diagnostic of what was wrong the next day, night at the latest. This was Tuesday, July 27th. It is now Monday, August 2nd, and I have still gotten no response from them. I have gone to their office twice around the time of 11 am and nobody is in the office despite their hours being Mondays through Fridays from 9 am to 5 pm. This is extremely unprofessional. At this point, I would rather them not do anything to my pc and just hand it back so I could take it to some place else.

Not a very communicative places. I dropped my MacBook off to them, they told me they were going to call me and they never did, I had to called them in the afternoon to see what was going on. All they said it’s going to be very expensive to fix and that it’s hard to fix it. When they said that i didn’t even bother to ask for prices. When I picked up my MacBook they were trying to give me an Old masts macbook charger. Mine was new, I bought a day before dropping it off. It was an insult to me what they did

Vanguard has great service, reasonable prices and gets the job done quick. I was having a problem with my laptop and Bladen was able to figure out what was wrong with it within a short period of time. They work fast and are a very professional and reliable company. I will definitely return to them in the future if I were to have anymore problems.

Bladen was really great with keeping me updated as well as informed about my computers status. I needed a quick diagnostic on my custom pc that didnt boot properly. He was able to set me up with an appointment, drop off, and pick up of the finished service all within two days! The experience was timely, economical as well as enjoyable. Ill be back for any further computer issues. Highly recommend!

I got tangled with a scam and they helped me out quickly and professionally. This is a great place! The service was exceptional as well as kind. This company did an incredible job on my lap top. I went to Best Buy so they could help me with my lap top but they told me that it will take 2 weeks for the part to be delivered and it would cost $500. I came to Bladen and his team for help and they fixed my lap top in less than 2 weeks! I will definitely be back again for them to fix my lap top!

I found this business by chance when I thought my computer had finally died and gone to heaven/hell as an accumulation of cat hair had damaged my motherboard and my hard drive crashed all at the same time. These folks were super friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to work with.They were able to work around my schedule as well which was a real treat. They fixed my computer and they were able save all the data from my dead hard drive. This really is great service with a personal touch and the price was more than reasonable as well. Internet connection hardware problem with my OLD and SLOW laptop. It was not worth repairing the clunker, so asked for advice. The company is very professional and get the work done very quick. I accidentally broke my MacBook Air screen, and Apple wants to charge me $800 for replacing the screen. However when I took it to Vanguard they just charged me less than half of that price! And they got it done very quick, I was able to get back my laptop in couple days. I would definitely come back if I have any computer problem.

The greatest experience when repairing my laptop. The service was BEYOND amazing. I had researched what it might cost to replace my hard drive and it was hundreds at other big places whereas vanguard only charged me $150. I was beyond relieved and it was replaced in 24 hours. The men and women here are so friendly and helpful and I really appreciated the way that they explained the process without making me feel dumb. I will be coming back with any problems I might have.

We have had Will, and Vanguard Solutions, work on our network and computers for about 3 years now. They are very knowledgeable, professional and courteous. We can not do business when our computers are down, so if and when that happens, Will is extremely accessible. He is prompt and gets us up and working in a very short time. Awesome! All I wanted was a computer check up to see which part was broken, everywhere else wanted to charge $300 just to LOOK at it. I like how you can be specific. They work with you here and really give a fair price for what youre looking for and not tie you down with some overpriced package. When I dropped off and picked up the PC they were very friendly I was able to solve my problem very easily. Id choose this place over anyone else next time I have a computer problem. Vanguard was by far the best decision Ive made. Walked with my Macbook Pro with a messed up battery and with tons of problems that made my computer run slow. They fixed everything within a couple of days! Got a new battery, they clean the inside of the computer which was filled up with tons of dust and other debris, and had my laptop running like band new! The hours of operation are early morning and late evening and availability of a computer tech is almost immediate. The location is easy to find and the price is more than reasonable. Vanguard installed a server at our office. His service was very prompt as well as cost effective. The server has been functioning perfectly and we would use Vanguard again in the future.

The logic board on my macbook pro went out so I was looking for a place to replace it . A google search later, im emailing Vanguard with questions about services after their posted hours. Not 2 min go by when I got an email from Bladen (Not sure on the spelling) telling me that they do the repair im looking for and that he would call me the next day. A few days later, I drop the computer off. After some diagnostic work, they call me up with options and we go from there. A week later, Ive got my machine back. He even stayed later than closing time so I could pick it up. Great service, great customer service and very competitive pricing. Ill certainly will be back!

My computer broke down and After going to many places that specialize in computers they werent able to fix it but then I found Vanguard with a very helpful gentleman named Alex De Lira, he was able to fix all my problems in my computer, he went above and beyond and worked on the weekends I definitely recommend this place
