Other than a membership needed, perks, Bjs Gas!! good price on gas, clean and safe gas area with attendant and air pump. There is a tire, repair area, eye glass department deli services avail, cooked chicken as well. Never used travel/car rental services. The warehouse is clean, consistently stocked, bakery and frozen cakes avail. Dont forget double coupons, then worth the item.Just be careful, you can spend alot $$ more than expected at times.

I am writing this review with a very cranky baby in my lap. She is cranky because we have been waiting in their parking lot for over an hour for a curbside pickup order that was supposed to be ready an hour and a half ago. No one seemed willing to help at all and only seemed irritated that I might expect my order to be on time. Then, to cancel the order you need to do each item individually.I havent had a shopping experience this bad in a long time.

Great deals when you buy in bulk. Big tv selection. Cashier was friendly, quick and personable.

Bakery department is a joke. Went there at 12:45 pm on March 21 for a picture cake order to be picked up the morning of March 31. Info was taken down and was told I was all set, and when I went to pick up the cake today they did not have any order. Put a big damper on a retirement party, having to get a generic cake elsewhere instead of the picture. God only knows what they did with the order form, picture, and my contact info. Also was told when I placed the order that they opened at 8, but thats only for the elderly, for most they open at 9.

REGARDING BJS DELIVERY SERVICE FROM THIS LOCATION:I received a quick response to my initial complaint about never receiving my order, even though it was marked as delivered. However, after sending my response to the customer service representative requesting my delivery to be redelivered, I did not receive a response. It has now been 3 days since I placed my order and expected delivery of my groceries and I still havent received any confirmation that my food is going to be redelivered to my home. This is very upsetting to me. Especially since I am a single mother of two children. Due to this delay in delivering my groceries, BJs is now interfering with feeding my children. This is the second time I have ever used this delivery service from BJs. Unfortunately, after this experience, it will most definitely be my last!!

This review is actually about BJs.com. I recently purchased a TV online and questioned the amount of sales tax I was charged. I was charged tax on the full retail price and not the sale price. Since that time, I called their customer service number at least 5 times, only to be kept on hold a ridiculous amount of time, hung up on or promised a supervisor would call be back yet nothing is ever done. This stopped being about the sales tax issue 3 phone calls ago and is now about the horrible and disrespectful level of service I have received.

The only reason I gave it a star was so I can leave a review. I give you NO stars BJs. I had to leave my cart full of stuff behind because BJs didnt have any cashiers working. I dont do self checkout for three reasons. 1, I dont like to put groceries on my credit card, 2, I never have exact change, and 3, I DONT WORK THERE!!!!! You have disappointed me over, and over again, BJs! This time I have had enough! I will NOT be renewing my membership!!!!!!

Awful customer service. Service desk is so bad and lazy. They get mad at you for going to the desk for help. The only reason it is there. The representative at the desk was so rude, unhelpful, and unclear that the customer behind me. Stopped me as i was walking away discourage by bjs employee and explained. What the employee either could not explain or would not explain. She purposefully left me confused and it was obvious. Im glad new markets are opening up near me. Im growing tired of the decrease in employee attitude. However this woman has worked there a long time and she has always been the same level of rude. She needs to be retrained. She has no customer appreciation. Infact she hates us.

My mom is 60+ and went to BJ’s this morning during the designated “60+ shopping hour” ... unfortunately the shelves were nearly empty. Appreciate the fact that there is a dedicated time to shop during this pandemic, however it would be beneficial to ensure the shelves were stocked for them to be able to complete their purchase. Nice thought ... but poorly executed.

During this lockdown no matter what time you go to this BJs they never have stock. It’s always empty. Can’t be that people are buying cleaning wipes, toilet tissue and or paper towels that fast. And the employees could never tell you when is the best time to come. Target employees would tell me a good time to check. But for some reason this BJs staff and service isn’t great. You can tell the managers aren’t happy. Some are rude especially one of the ladies who is in charge of the customer lines. I’ve seen better BJs before, hope this one improves.

Had the unfortunate experience of being accosted by a slimeball siding salesman (good alliteration, no?) I was trying to do some much needed shopping and shame on me for trying to be friendly. I ended up leaving my cart in the aisle, made a profanity filled complaint at the courtesy desk (not proud of) and walked out. I wont be back. BJs, what are you thinking.

Love the produce. And buying bulk of the items we use a lot of. Also has a little bit of everything you might be looking for. Some ones birthday?. ... get a card, maybe something to wear, or have fun with. Maybe a bouquet of flowers. The convenience is great!Also love the holiday baskets around Christmas time, perfect for that neighbor, or mail person, or boss. Etc.

I like shopping here. Enjoy the products and have good experiences. But, I dont really think that they should have 1-2 cashiers on when its usually busy enough for up 5-6 cashiers. To have the self checkout takes way too long and human cashiers can help the lines to go quickly.

I ordered a $700 gun safe online over a month ago. Bjs does not know where the shipment is, and says the shipping company is not answering them. The safe is obviously missing, and Ive spent hours now just to get a refund. We will see when I see refund.

According to the person I just called they cannot look up vehicle by name in the tire shop they dont have computers they have to look through hard copies to find the data pleaseupdate the tire shop. did not have the car front of me and I was going to have them looking up my name to see if they had a tire I needed but they cant.

I love BJs supermarket because they have such a wide variety of grocery products that range from organic to none organic. It is super affordable and saves us a lot of money buying in bulk! I love to shop for all my pets food at BJ’s wholesale club because they have everything from Food to furniture to electronics. This place is by far the best place to shop for anything you need plus they also sell by the bulk!! Meaning u can buy large quantities of the same thing for cheap... what more can you ask for? I recommend this place to my friends and family they always go with me shopping every time..

Staff was friendly and helpful and there good deals to be had. But their rotisserie chicken was so tasteless and dry. Completely inedible.

BJ’s would be so much better if the managers started doing there job and being appreciative of their cashiers and stop moping around like turtles when the lights are flashing like they really show that they don’t like their job. They are not quick to attend to customers. They use to have an express lane but what is the sense when your waiting for 20 minutes. This is a constant thing I see every time I go in there. They write up people for stupid stuff and the person at the door never checks their whole carriage. I don’t even want to go in there anymore period the customer service is just horrible. I been a managing stores for a long time and this is by far the worst. I am just always in shock when I walk in there and I don’t know how they have their jobs. I wouldn’t recommend shopping there at all. This is in regards to Coventry store

I placed an order for online pickup, as I have in the past, being sure to check off the coupons for each item, as usual. When I checked my receipt at home, I found that only one had been taken off. When I contacted the service desk Sydney insisted that I must have put in the coupons wrong and that there is nothing that can be done. Customer Service indeed!

I ordered cakes for my daughter’s first birthday and they were so adorable. They did a great job.

Probably one of the worst locations Ive been too when it comes to customer service. Only one register was open, all the self check out lanes were back down the isles, and I could clearly see at least 3 (I guess management of some sort) just standing around the small desk chatting away like they were at a coffee shop. Luckily there is a Walmart in the same plaza that I was able to get all my stuff after I walked out of BJs.

Shopping at the BJs in Coventry Rhode Island is always a pleasure the store is clean. The quality of their products are excellent. the only drawback is they need more self-service registers

Update to below disaster. Talked to another assistant manager who gave me better information. Basically everything first one told me was wrong. Definately made more sense. Also they were very nice and apologized for the trouble and definately went out of their way to make amends for their error. In the end i was happy with their service. Their night manager who i will not name because i dont want to shame her... needs some more training.Went to BJs, Center of New England, Coventry RI, to purchase a patio set today, checked on line to be sure they had them in stock! got there paid for it, then they tell us it is up on a top deck in the warehouse and no one here can drive a fork lift to bring it down, you will have to come back to pick it up What??? no one at the wholesale warehouse club can drive a fork lift? you cant be serious, well yes they were, I talked to the manager on duty who said, they dont schedule anyone who drives a forklift Monday thru Wednesday because they usually dont have to move anything again.. WHAT??? But they had no problem taking our money, so when i tell them that this is a huge problem, i had to have a family member with a truck meet me and i have other obligations, this was the only night i am free to pick it up, They looked at me like i just asked them to give me a kidney! so again they say you can just come back tomorrow well if i wasnt working, or didnt have to have help picking it up, maybe i could! so consider yourself warned Monday thru Wednesday if you need something and it nor right there in front of you, they might not be able to help you . I am so disappointed, why would anyone think that a warehouse club would deliberately NOT staff their store because we usually dont have to move anything Now I have to call the manager again tomorrow make sure the item gets brought down from the top deck and make all new arrangements, BJs will you compensate me for your understaffing?

Well. Went in the store today.Coventry Ri Denny at customer service informed me that I am. Not allowed to exchange any food products. Chicken was bad they made exception. So I avoided any perishables bought shoes and left!
