Have been a customer for three years. With a premium package that included aeration in the fall. This year I was disappointed by the companies services. With this much rain through the summer there is no reason to have dead spots. See pictures. During applications. I was told to stop bagging grass. — I did. I was told to buy and apply lawns seed. — I did 4X at $60/ bag. I called and asked someone to come out and check my lawn. As now I have rust and clover. I was told to call back!!! Someone finally came by after I posted on their website asking for assistance on my lawn service. Gentleman showed up and as immediately defensive after much back and forth he agreed to reseed but took no responsibility on quality of my lawn. All that was done was to put some seed down. I’m not sure how this will combat rust. When I checked later tonight I see where many spots were missed with seeding of dead spots. See pictures.I didn’t criticize previous years as we had far less rain. Lawn should be much better with this much rain.What’s the point?? Lazy is lazy and not defendable. See pictures.Follow up 9/24: after seeing this review a rep contacted me and offered to send a seeding crew out. Today they they showed up in the rain seeded and plugged/aerated the lawn.Hoping these steps help!! Nice to be called with an offer to help.

Pleased with my lawncare - 1st year customer and my lawn looks better already! Workers are really helpful and friendly, and the office workers are polite and friendly whenever I have called with a question or concern...

Our law has never looked better. We have used a couple competitors but these guy have a really great treatment and fabulous staff working to give us the best experience. My husband approached them about some spots we seeded and they added a note to our file and had a plan so it would not be treated with any germinating preventative until it is established. We will see how it looks in a year.

I’ve used other companies for my lawn in the past. Waist of money. I swore I’d never pay for lawn care again. I saw Seascape in my neighborhood and at my neighbors house so I inquired. I have never been more pleased with what they do. My lawn looks amazing. I highly recommend contacting them, they are not just another company they know what they’re doing.

Rob came out to provide a quote for trimming a row of Canadian hemlocks for me in a Boston suburb. He was very professional and helped me understand my options. Although we didnt end up using the service I would recommend this team especially for more complicated tree-work projects.

By far, SeaScape is accountable, extremely knowledgeable about any question related to my lawn, arborvitaes, shrubs, and trees, and has saved many of them from insect infestation, fungal disease, etc. They are reasonable, accountable, and deliver high quality.

Loved them at first but noticed decline over the whole time I used them, then going so far as to using the wrong equipment on my yard and covering every square inch (including driveway, foundation, house) Arguing about it over the phone with me only to send someone out and power wash my property (using my water)Ill never use them or recommend them again. Using a ride on spreader for a yard thats half the size of 12 wide. This wasnt an accident it was purely a lazy operator. And as Ive noticed from other reviews theyre still at it. Over priced and quality is poor. Doesnt matter when I canceled your service, reviews dont have an expiration date. And you (the owner) is the one who argued with me ( bad business) have a great day !

Well i seem to have an issue with grubs. day by day it is getting worse. i called on a Saturday and was told they would get someone out asap. i called back on Tuesday and was told my regular application is set for friday and they will be out at that time. meanwhile i have a lot more damage now.

My lawn has never looked better! I had another lawn company for many years prior to Sea Scape, and the lawn had so many weeds. It was in such bad shape that I needed to remove and replace the entire lawn. My weed problem has been resolved and the grass is beautifully green and thick. Thanks so much Sea Scape!

The Seascape crew have come to my house to treat the tree in my backyard a few times. They are always professional and courteous even having to deal with the dog waste that I forgot to pick up before their arrival. As for the tree, they have brought it back to life. Great job and thanks for giving me the extra yard work in the fall. : )

I Received a flyer in the winter of 2018 and decided to give it a try for 2019. I paid upfront for 2019. The result was mixed and I had a lot of Crabgrass. As a result every week I had to spray, in an attempt to kill the Crabgrass. I did mention the issue to the techs but was left with the impression that the Crabgrass was my fault. I normally put Crabgrass Preventer on and generally have very little to no Crabgrass and expected a similar result, but that did not happen.For 2020, I received a flyer in the winter of 2019. The price was so significantly more expensive then the previous year, so I decided not to renew. However, later I was informed, that in the fine print it states the service renews on its own unless you return the flyer with the secret word Cancel written across the statement. Who would have thunk?It might have gone better if someone had explained the process.

While I am not personally a customer, I did watch them drop chemicals yesterday with a very large motorized machine and it was done in a very careless manner. The owner should probably educate his employees on how to properly clean up after they drop harmful chemicals. I should not have to walk my dog after they are complete only to see chemicals all over the road and not on the lawn where they belong. The proper way to clean up after dropping lawn chemicals is to use a broom and not a blower. You would think a company that does this for a living would know this fact.

I absolutely love SeaScape. They do both my lawn (which is absolutely beautiful), but also my business for vegetation control. They are neat, caring, very conscious, ... I could go on and on. Some lawn care companies drive up to your property, sit in the truck, write a few things down, and then leave. I receive an up-to-date statement each and every time. Go with the best!!! SeaScape!!!

I have used this company for about 5 years now and have paid upfront each year they have serviced my lawn. My grass was beautiful when I started with this company and over the past 5 years I have noticed there has been a steady decline to the point now where it has never look so HORRIBLE. Ill be cancelling my business indefinitely with this company this week.

Over the past ten years Ive tried two other lawn care services and when Id call regarding persistent weeds I was always told its too early to treat, or well get that next treatment and the weeds remained. I decided to give SeaScape a try, and they have been excellent! My lawn has never looked better, the weeds are gone and Im a very happy customer! I highly recommend them!

This was our first season using SeaScape and Ive been quite happy...as is our lawn! It weathered the summer heat well (and we dont water the lawn as its quite wasteful of water), but following their recommendations on mowing height--our lawn stayed pretty good even in the summer heat! Its now a beautiful lush green and the weeds are non-existent! They just cored and over-seeded and were looking forward to having an even better lawn next year!***2019 UPDATE***Not only did we continue using SeaScape--but our lawn continued to get better! This year neighbors were complimenting us on our lawn (this never happened before). After getting a couple of ticks off our dog, we utilized SeaScapes Yard Guard service and didnt deal with anymore ticks this summer & fall. We also had SeaScape take care of all of shrubbery, it all needed a good pruning and clean-up. The team did an excellent job and Im happy to say our landscape keeps improving!

9.20.20Have contacted BBB after promises to return on specific days to resolve issue. Even the head manager would not talk to me directly and thru the office said someone would be at my home to complete job. They obviously dont care. Recommend going to another tree company that is sincere about customer satisfaction.8.23.20 NO SHOW OR CALL. GAVE HIM TIME TO AT LEAST GIVE A COURTESY CALL. NOT HAPPY AT ALL. I HAVE BEEN MORE THAN PATIENT AND NOW FEEL JUST BLOWING SUNSHINE. CALLING TOMORROW.8.14.20 finally after numerous communications, company will arrive tues 8.18.20 or wed 8.19.20 to complete the remainder of the 15 they quoted to top off 3 trees. Hope it will be a satisfactory after such a long wait.1.22.20 update...have been contacted but due to bad or cold weather still waiting for them to come n retop off additional. Maybe in March when warmer.I have contacted sales person 2 times thatquoted job due to unhappiness with top off of 3 trees, I have not been contacted to resolve this issue. Not happy until resolved. Will review again once I am satisfied.

This is my 3rd and final year with Seascape. Year one they were great & I was happy. Year two they burnt my lawn with a misapplication via backpack liquid. They stood behind it and repaired it at no cost but it threw the lawn care services out of whack until repairs took root. Tail end of the year my lawn finally rebounded. Year three they over applied fertilizer and burnt my lawn again. Once again they did exactly as they did in the past to make it right. Issue is weeds are popping up on lawn all summer. When they aerated and seeded they did a poor job missing so many areas. The techs that show up are so poorly trained they are obviously seasonal warm bodies. Very young (guy last visit was 18 or less) & very inexperienced. Shorts & tee shirt, sneakers, no professionalism AKA uniform. They race through the service and obviously use no skill in treating. After two years of damaging my lawn I am done. If I want my lawn ruined each year I will do it myself! I hired Seascape to avoid the hassle & aggravation but they caused more. The customer service is excellent at the office level. The issue is their supervisors & management letting all these inexperienced applicators burn lawns and allow no standards for professional appearance.

I switched over from truegreen in an effort to support local business. The first and second application went ok, the second ending on May 31, now it’s july 22 and they have not been back. I called once and they seemed like they had forgotten, if that’s possible, but assured me that they would return that week. They didn’t, that was last week. I called today and they told me Wednesday... we will see, but my lawn is suffering I know that there are appropriate times to put these treatments down and I fear that time has passed. Hopefully they turn it around and I can continue to stay local.Update: They finally came and put so much fertilizer down that my street smells and my grass is burnt to hell. This is a problem. I paid upfront with the expectation of quality work.

I have been using this service for several years. While satisfied with the care of my lawn I am continually frustrated with customer service. They are rude and have trouble keeping important information in my account. I get calls before each application asking the same questions. It is very frustrating. I always end phone calls with them feeling as if I have done something wrong

My lawn had suffered for years. I tried the do-it-yourself method of lawn fertilization and it got progressively worse. I hired another lawn specialist and for the next four seasons the results were less than stellar. My lawn guy kept making excuse after excuse and ultimately blamed me for the bad results. I saw SeaScapes on a TV ad and called them. They came by and diagnosed my problems and gave me a solution which included changing the way I cut and watered. I followed their suggestions and my lawn has never looked this good....ever! I am so pleased with the results, their customer service and the technicians. I went with the Platinum plan which includes fertilization, core aeration and over seeding. I actually get compliments on my lawn....thanks SeaScapes!

I wish I *could* review SeaScape lawn care, but I have been unable to schedule service. On March 30 I left a message on their answering service in response to a flyer I received in the mail. When there was no response, I called again on April 3 and was informed--rather curtly--that someone would be in touch in a week or so. That was three weeks ago. Perhaps the landscapers do excellent work, but those of us who cant get past the front office will never know for certain.

Seascape is very responsive to any requests I have and personalizes the care that they give my lawn. Their employees are always very good at listening to my concerns and explaining themselves. Unlike the nationwide companies, they dont follow a script and are more than happy coming back to perform follow up care.

I’ve had them two years but noticied how fast the fertilizer was applied and a friend said, wow guy just ran thru yard dropping fertilzer in some places and not others, but since I liked the lawn cutters associated folks with Seascape I disregarded it thinking they must know what they are doing. But now my lawn is burnt in many spots, it never looked so bad like this during these last 15 years till now, just awful. And now Lawn cutting guys never told me they no longer are servicing my area when I inquired about why lawn hasnt yet been cut! Quite disturbing

If I could leave zero stars I would. Laurie needs to learn customer service!! They overseed the lawn a day before torrential down pour’s and she blamed me for giving the ok for them to come. They left a message they were coming. I couldn’t call back until after hours. They came. They know the seed wouldn’t stay. Thank God for companies like Trugreen who came and reseeded my lawn! Stay away!!!In response to Seascapes reply:I didn’t ask for ANYTHING! Laurie in the office is rude! The only thing I asked for was for you guys to make sure that didn’t happen again. I was going to continue service with you. Apparently according to a bunch of other reviews of you guys,you guys have have attitude problems with your customers.You guys were paid... yet still find something to argue about! Updated 5/21/19Changed my rating from 1 to 3 stars.Upon writing my original review I was promptly contacted by the company and they agreed to come back and make it right. Bob came and talked to me about what I had wanted done and even gave some suggestions which I agreed with. He took time to make sure he was 100% aligned before cutting, and checked with me to see if it was done right. He even took down some dead branches. The results look great.It’s frustrating that it took writing a review and all this time and back and forth headaches to get this done, but I do appreciate a company that is receptive to their customers and want to do the right thing.——————————————————————————Original Review 5/14/19The Tree Service is a joke. So much so I, and my family and friends, may have to switch lawn care companies after this.I hired them to remove tree limbs from a few trees. Mike came over and seemed very knowledgeable and wrote very specific instructions on what limbs to cut. I was very hopeful that this would turn out well.I got a call the day they were suppose to come. I called their office as I wouldn’t be home the next day but they said that should be fine. When I got home I took a look and, not only did they cut the wrong limbs on 2 of the 3 trees I asked them to cut, they cut large limbs from the wrong tree! Mind you, this tree was about 20 feet away from the tree I wanted cut so it’s not like it was close. Those limbs were giving some privacy so now I have to deal with that.I called them and Mike came down to review. No offer to refund any money, but did offer to plant some trees to help with privacy if I wish (though that was just a friendly handshake so we will see). Fine, I asked him to come back and cut the large limb from the correct tree. They came back, I went out and explained what limb to cut, then had to go to work. I came back and STILL they didn’t get it right. They cut some limbs but not the main limb I asked, and broke one of my fence caps in the process. They did repair the cap, but that took about 3 weeks for some reason. Now this is getting ridiculous. So I called back and was even thinking I might just leave it as is so as to not need to deal with this anymore. After thinking about it a little I decided I should get what I payed for and get the correct limbs cut.I reached out now about 3 or 4 times trying to get something scheduled to get that limb cut as I had payed for. Now I get a call saying if I want it cut I will have to pay for the service!So to reiterate, they cut down a large limb from the wrong tree, they had to come twice to cut down the correct limbs from the 2nd tree, and they didn’t cut the large limb I had asked them to cut originally, and now they are asking for more money if I want them to cut down the limb I had asked them to cut the first time! Oh, and they originally came in January and it is now May when I’m writing this and it still isn’t resolved.I really had high hopes after talking about the work we wanted done, and the machines they use so as to not damage the lawn, but do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

UPDATE: Seascape replaced the grass they damagedFirst and last year with seascape. After a treatment in July, there were large obvious fertilizer burn spots in the front lawn. The grass is 3 year old sod and is fully irrigated twice a day four times a week as it gets full sun. It was also aerated last fall. So, you can imagine my dismay when being told that the lawn was in this condition due to the “heat.” An interesting story because the entire front lawn gets full sun, yet the fertilizer burn is clearly isolated in two spots. After two calls, no refund was offered and we were told they’d “reseed in the fall if the grass doesn’t come back.” Hopefully their reseeding job isn’t like their fertilizing job. If you value customer service and care about your lawn, please look elsewhere. By the way, we’ve had professional lawn care with different companies with similar summer heat and this has not happened so their excuse is garbage.

I cancelled this year after being with them for 2 seasons. My lawn was browning and full of weeds this past spring, despite all the rain and the fertilizer application theyd done. I called them about it and the service tech they sent out said the lawn was suffering from drought. Really??? After all the rain we had this spring? They did nothing about all the weeds. The service was great the first year, went downhill the second year, and by the start of the 3rd year, was appalling, so I cancelled.

I’ve had every lawn care fertilizer company from mass to cn and yet the best company was right here in RI. I’m not one to complement when paying for a service,lfeel they should do what I’m paying for,Seascape goes beyon what you pay for with a smile.they are without question a standup company who positively stand behind there work.l myself have had issues that without question were my fault, yet at there expense they came and repaired and corrected the problem.l could go on but the best way to to sum up there service is, You get a hole lot more than you pay for,l can assure you this,YOU’LL BE HAPPY YOU DID, and that’s a promise!
