We had a leak in our pool liner about a month ago. Roger and Richard came out, detected the leak with the sonar equipment and patched the leak. Roger was very pleasant and even let me hear how the leak is detected, showed me where the leak was an where they usually occur. Ive called them back a few other times just to ask questions because Roger was so knowledgeable. We seemed to be losing water and I was able to locate a NEW leak and have him come back to repair this one. Roger made time for me today and we chatted as he repaired the leak. HI see some of these bad reviews and it is hard to find good people however, he has shared how difficult its been with staffing this season. Roger knows what hes doing and he truly is a very kind soul. I appreciate him and Beth (office staff). Its hard to find good people to do honest work and Roger is one of a kind fantastic!

Today Sundown pools,Roger and his crew came within the time slot that Roger had given us the day before. The crew was to install a gas line for the heater and also they installed the filter to work alongside the heater.First of all, it was really warm, 85’ easy. A trench was dug, line installed everything went perfectly. Everyone was professional, pleasant, hardworking and just super!!Let me backtrack also.Miguel and his crew came on April 7, the pool was literally coming off the truck and they were at it, digging and leveling off a gaping hole left by our demolished pool.Again, an 80’+ day.Again, an awesome crew who did an awesome job putting up our fantastic 15x30 new pool.Miguel was our first experience with Sundown pools.He had come over to survey the job and told us exactly what to expect.Roger was a good guy.Miguel was top notch.When I spoke with the gal at the office initially, she was awesome!!They are all just fantastic and my husband and I couldn’t be more pleased.I will definitely be calling for help closing the pool and I will recommend them to everyone!!

Sundown crew showed up on time and where there was no pool before now stands a beautiful pool being filled with water just 3 hours later. They were very polite and answered all our questions and gave great advise of maintenance and upkeep that we continue with still today.

If you want your pool repaired DONT BOTHER CALLING SUNDOWN!! Ever since my new liner was put in (by them) its been leaking. Was supposed to fix at end of last season, NO SHOW. Ive had 8+ scheduled appointments since April 15th - guess what, all NO SHOWS! All I wanted was my pool repaired. They can be very pleasant and knowledgeable - IF THEY SHOW UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Had an install scheduled for May 19. Install date arrives, no call, no show. Tried calling several times with no answer. Finally received a text back that they would call later that evening or the next morning. Still waiting, and have not heard anything back from them since. Went back to the store I purchased the pool from and had to line up a new installer as Sundown has decided to stop returning calls. I wish them luck with this business model, but that is about all I will do. Would rather rate 0 stars, but this is the lowest it goes.

I wish I could give 0 stars. No showed on us 3 different times. Canceled day of during the time they were supposed to arrive. Roger was very rude and yelled at me on the phone. Gave him one more chance to come and he never showed. He then lied about why he did not come. Please do not waste you time if this is who is to install your pool. Find someone else!

We had them install our pool 3 years ago. While installing our pool they completely DESTROYED our beautifully landscaped yard. It was an above-ground that was sunk and they left without filling in around the edges of the pool and didnt put the copper line around it. This of course was a much added cost which we werent expecting. Had to come back several times due to install problems. Sometimes no-show. While installing they nicked our gas line to our house which we had to pay to repair. They cost us $6000 because they hit our power line and almost hit the main line. Then ComEd automatically put the $6000 through our insurance without us knowing. Seems like that must happen a lot! WOULD NEVER SUGGEST USING THEM!! Roger was rude several times when I called to complain instead of helping out. I would never put in a pool again - with any company after our horrible experience here. And weve had problems every year - this year its the liner. Cant wait to hear how wrong that was done!

Great, prompt service! We needed our pool liner replaced and Sundown scheduled our appointment and arrived on time. They were very helpful on the phone figuring out what needed to be done. The quote they gave me was very reasonable. They found a hole in the aluminum and were even able to repair it on the spot. They worked quickly and did a great job. We are looking forward to enjoying our pool again.

Terrible company. I paid them to repair a leak in my pool liner. They were supposed to arrive at pm and called to tell me they wouldnt be in the area then and needed to do the work sooner, and I didnt need to be there. They called and said it was done and I gave them my credit card to pay $125.00. When I got home, there was a piece of patch glued haphazardly in the pool and it was still leaking. I tried getting them to come back and they broke my appointments twice. After they called to cancel a third time i requested a refund because the leak wasnt fixed and they wouldnt refund my money. I ended up hiring another company to fix my pool liner. Sundown Pools does not care about customer satisfaction and I recommend you dont call them unless you want to give your money away and not get any service at all for it. Pitiful customer service!

Find another company...what ever it takes. do not call sundown, they make an appt to install, and never show up...then they bump up the estimate for installation...ours went from 420.00 to over a grand, by the time we went to the atm and back if i could give negative stars i would, never in my life have i had such trouble with a company. the workers are wonderful, i cant say enough about their work...but the headaches that come with it

The workers are so unprofessional. The owner or supervisor I dont know which of the two he is very very unprofessional, and tries to talk to you any kind of way . I would not recommend them at all!!!!

Terrible company!! Do not have any work done by this poorly run company. The workers are unprofessional and did unacceptable work. Almost all of the vertical supports were leaning. The seat tops were not screwed in the proper position if at all. Not one of the caps on top of the seats and posts were screwed in. The installer lied when he said the original installer didnt put all the screws in, that is why screws are missing. Well, I found the missing screws all around the pool in the mulch. This was just a liner replacement, can not imagine the nightmare of a pool install.

Horrible experience. Do NOT use this company. Took the day off of work to be here for my scheduled appointment, they didn’t show up. I called to confirm the night before and they said they would be here. No show. When I finally reached someone to complain, the woman was rude. Would give 0 stars if I could

Was told by Beth in a message that the workers would be here between 8am and noon, did not show up until almost 1pm, granted me and my mother had to go buy a new liner due to rips in the liner we had just purchased, the 2 workers do not seem to know what they are doing, one was just standing around while the other worker kept calling someone on his cellphone for help walking around the inside of my pool. It is now 6:30pm and they are still not done and the workers are standing in the pool on his cellphone. This company was a referral from a long time family friend who has never had this issue and also had more than 2 people do her liner, I will never come to this company again

Ive been dealing with this place for a few years now and I can say they are alright in my book.

Horrible!!! Rude, no show....awful....STEER CLEAR! A shame because previous owner used them for years.
