I created some serious problems doing my own taxes handling a complex issue; because, anyone can do taxes, especially me. The IRS dunned me double. Bob & Mary saved the day and I got my money back. Ill be back this year. THANKS!

I have filed my business income tax with Bob for year 2016. I liked him personally because he seems nice guys and reasonable. However, his communication is really poor. I tried to go to his office at least for 4 times last year to get few more thing done but I could not see him in his office. Most of the time door was locked and no one was inside of building. I have tried to contact him by calling and leaving message numerous time but he barely return call in timely manner nor he check his email. I tried to send him an email so many time but could not get reply back from him. He did not check his email before he filed my tax, and missed some paper work which needed to be filed along with the tax. After he filed my tax, I got letter from IRS requesting few more information (my health insurance paper) and I tried to get hold of him many many time but I could not do so. Finally, I get hold of him this year and talked to him, explain everything. He did apologize for the issue but he did not admitted to get those paper from me. I showed him by opening my email to him right there. Anyway, long story sort, I am very disappointed with his customer communication skills. When I mentioned about communication is very important in business. He just ignored me and saying I have enough business. So, he seems like do not care about client feedback either. Finally, I am moving my business to else where.

Bob has done my taxes for over 20 years, hes also done my parents for longer. We have always made an appointment to have them prepared in person, Bob is very knowledgeable and up to date on all new tax laws.compared to other companys pricing he is very reasonable. We have recommended him to many friends and never had any issues, we will have him prepare ours till he retires. THANKS BOB

I have been going to Bob French for at least 15 yrs now. We have recommended him to a lot of our friends over the yrs and they have all been very happy with his service also. When I go get my taxes done it is more like going to visit an old friend. Thanks for all your help over the years Bob. Mary Lewis

I am shocked at the negative reviews, if you are a professional and know how your taxes need to be done then do them yourself, plenty of sites for that. I will agree that at times they have my return a little longer then I want - but I have to remember that its tax time and a million have been dropped off along with mine, I am sort of a stalker here anyway.However, with that being said, Bob is FANTASTIC!! He always has my returns correct, even corrected a return from another preparer 10 years ago that had Iowa coming after me...I ended up getting money instead (which is how my repeat business was earned) and ALWAYS gets me more back then I have estimated myself at home. Bob works all day and all night on returns trying to get them done to your satisfaction and I think the neagtive reviews on here are personal attacks rather than on business integrity because someone didnt get something they wanted.

First, I find it odd that my previous review is not posted portraying what kind of business this truly is. Secondly, Mary, your viewpoint on Bob and this business is sickening. I felt sorry for you the other day when I was in there expressing my feelings in person as you recomment (you remember...when I was told to leave or the police would be called on me...the one and only time I was actually able to catch anyone in the office), but after reading your review, all I can say is it looks like someone is extra close with their boss or someone got a big raise for lying publicly about what kind of place this actually is. I wouldve thought after you were reprimanded for letting me in the building and then witnessing Bobs verbal attack against me your loyalty wouldnt have been as strong. The people at this place never cease to amaze me.

Wow, took this place 3 years to do my mothers taxes and they still arent done. She had to just take her W2s and go and she is going to be penalized because of this places lack of even trying to run a business properly. I cant believe this place is even still in operation. Well anyways, if you like for it to take years to get your taxes done and love paying the government extra money for other peoples incompetence, look no further.

Most unprofessional, unreliable, and incompetent accountant I have ever dealt with. I have never even heard of anyone this bad before. They dont answer their phones, never meet deadlines and cant even provide required documentation. I dont have an axe to grind with these guys Im just trying to save you all the problems they have caused us. Trust me this is a place to avoid.

Would not recommend. Should have known better from other negative reviews. They had my taxes for a month and a half, and got them done on the last day 4/15. I called at least 5 times,just wanted to make sure they still had them, and got zero call backs.Once I got a call from Bob he made excuses and took almost zero responsibility for the poor customer service. Oh well another life lesson in which I will benefit from.

I was VERY unhappy with the customer service at Tallman Scheel. I have never been treated so unprofessionally. Bob started off being very helpful; however, when it came to tax season everything went down hill. I gave him all my tax information at the end of January because I wanted to beat the rush, he told me he would have them finished in a few weeks. With no word for a month, I figured he had just gotten busy. I proceeded to call once or twice a week for 7 weeks, most of the time getting no answer, or having to leave a message on his answering machine or with his receptionist, who is completely unhelpful. The deadline for taxes passed. I ended up having to take a day off work to go down to Tallman Scheel and figure out what was going on. My taxes arent finished (personal or business), he lost all my receipt totals, has only a few copies of my sales tax payments and no extension has been filed for my taxes. I would NEVER recommend anyone use Tallman Scheel for their tax services.

Bob is very accurate, and do his job very well.

Tallman is a great tax company. I would recommend them to everyone.
