Garbage! Tries to squeeze as much money out as possible. Poor customer service. The employees clearly do not care about anyone but themselves and how much their pockets are filled. Conducts illegal practices, such as saying they will not release a body until they are given money.

I highly advise avoiding this funeral home, both as a potential employee and patron.The cons of being a patron include:Shady business practices. Will frequently push embalmings on families, even for cremation cases. Absolutely not concerned with educating families on what they are paying for versus what they are getting.Management doesnt require embalming sheets to be filled out; necessary paperwork is frequently overlooked and discarded. Botched and messy embalmings are common.Racist, homophobic, and sexist comments are frequently made behind closed doors.The owners will neglect families that do not have money. They will not attend the visitation and rarely offer any after-need care.The cons of being an employee include, but are not limited to:Guaranteed 12-day workweek regardless of busyness; only four days off per month.Female employees are required to only wear skirts or dresses.Salary pay (NOT hourly); the employee will not be paid overtime or for going on home removals. The pay averages out to 10-11 dollars per hour based on the amount of overtime done.Family-owned. The children of the owner are not held to the same standards as non-family employees. There’s absolutely no room to grow within this company due to it being family-owned.Short-tempered and incompetent owners. Owners frequently yell and belittle all staff; had multiple employees quit because of management. There’s an extremely high employee turnover.Will be primarily working out of the preparation room. The owners like to squeeze every penny they can out of families; therefore they do not trust non-family funeral directors to run arrangements conferences.Extremely messy embalming room and crematorium. The rooms will go weeks (and months) without basic cleaning. Blood, dirt, and other dried fluids cover the embalming room floors which should be cleaned daily. Cremated remains cover every surface of the crematory and processor. The owners refuse to buy a separate vacuum for the crematory, so the normal vacuum (the one used for the garage) is used to clean loved ones cremated remains from the crematory. Embalming reports are rarely if ever filled out.

Cutler-ONeill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home was amazing, caring, and very sympathetic. The loss of our loved one was sudden and unexpected and they went above and beyond their job to make everything that needed done possible. I cannot stress enough how compassionate this company is to their clients. I want to thank them from the bottom of our hearts for all they did for my brother and everyone in his life. He will be greatly missed. Thank you again for all you do!

Many thanks to Steve and his staff for making a difficult responsibilty less stressful. Both of my parents funerals were handled with the utmost professionalism, compassion, and genuine care for the immediate family. Thank you again for your help and support.

Really disappointed in our experience with this funeral home. I advise not doing the luncheon at this place after a funeral. We were rushed and asked if we could leave so they could clean up even though we were not there that long.

I want to express our sincere gratitude to Patrick and the staff at Cutler ONeil for their help in planning our daughters funeral in June of 2012. Their compassion, level of service, empathy and caring was beyond anything we could have imagined and we will forever be grateful for the way they handled our tragic event and grief.
