Great flight school, inside and out (with instructors and USAF vets), with FOURTEEN single and twin engine general aviation aircraft in their serious sized fleet. Theyre 8/9 miles West of Council Bluffs, next to a building hosting Iowa Western CC Aviation classes. Students from IWCC, UNO, and from all over the Heartland, are learning to fly, and polishing their skills at Advanced Air. There IS A New FBO at the CB Airport, known for the airports they service farther East in Iowa and Illinois = Carver Aero, but that takes nothing away from excellent training at Advanced Air.

Great people to train with so far Ive only met a few of the instructors and all of them were great to talk to, and very knowledgeable about the aircraft they work with.

Advanced Air is a great place to learn how to fly or continue your training. With being on the edge of Omahas airspace it makes for a quick departure so you spend less time waiting for a clearance and more time in the air learning the maneuvers. I recently moved to Phoenix to finish my training for my CFI and CFII ratings and was amazed of how expensive it was and how hard it was to find quality instructors like i found at Advanced Air. After training in the Phoenix area for a few months (not to mention spending twice the amount I would have spent if I stayed at Advance Air), I decided to return home to finish my training because I wasnt getting the level of instruction and training that I needed to finish my ratings. All the instructors Ive worked with at Advanced Air helped me get my ratings in the least amount of hours all while making me a safe and proficient pilot! It wasnt until I moved 1500 miles away that I realized that Advanced Air is one of the best flight schools in the country. They also do a superb job at keeping their fleet up and running to minimize down time during your training. I would recommend Advanced Air to anyone wanting to learn to fly, advance their training (additional ratings) and / or get current again. Joe W
