They have great connections in the valley and make unbiased recommendations thats best for us. We are welcomed by name each time we walk in and the positive energy of that shop is contagious. Its really a great place to start and maintain your love affair with bikes.

Fantastic product and customer service. Very knowledgeable staff with big smiles and great attitudes! I brought in my wifes Trek so I can get a wider tire and more trail friendly ride. Ben at the AF location was amazing and extremely helpful in finding the best bike for me with what was in inventory. I had to go to cottonwood heights to get the model, but he made sure they held it for me and had it ready. At the cottonwood heights location, they were extremely helpful and informative in the care of my bike and how to adjust my seat. 10/10 would recommend! And I love my bike!

Very friendly staff! Matt got me out of a pinch with a repair to a cassette that was damaged during a trip from Australia, just as they were preparing to close their shop for the day. He and the crew stuck around and looked after me so I didn’t miss my ride this morning.

Great customer service. Friendly staff. And its Trek. Just purchased my second Trek mountain bike and love it. Unfortunately most bikes are on backorder but if you can get one, do it! I was looking at other bike brands and it felt like I was cheating. So now second Trek and still in love.

The boys at the Trek store in Cotton Wood Heights were phenomenal. I brought them my 2001 trek Hilo tri-bike with a bad wheel and they were able to track down everything needed and game my bike a complete overhaul.They are super knowledgeable and damn friendly to boot. Im grateful I found them.

First they were out of stock (like everywhere) of the bike I wanted and they looked up and found 1 available bike. I have a bike only because of them...and it was not even from their store....said they want to just see people on bikes. Have gone back multiple times and they are always super helpful and engaged....and Im a total rookie and they are super helpful and informative and dont make you feel out of the club...like some places do. Honestly amazing staff!!!

Great friendly serviceI was super impressed with the consistent friendly service I received at Trek Cottonwood Heights. They patiently answered all my questions, through repeated visits. This is what led to them winning my business.

Trek Cottonwood Heights is at the peak of service. My son busted up a bike rim. I brought it in fully expecting to pay for a new one. They found a way to look up the bike, warranty the rim (even though it was my fault). With COVID the rim wasnt in stock, so they put on a loaner rim and got me back the bike within 24 hours -- then are still going to replace the original rim once it comes back in stock. Theyre crazy amazing right?

After visiting another bike store and being told good luck finding anything right now, the Trek store was a breath of fresh air. Not only did they have exactly what we needed at good prices, they made the entire process easy and welcoming. It felt like we were adopted into the Trek family. A few weeks later and our kids LOVE their bikes. Now if the weather would cooperate and allow them to ride them for a few more weeks :)

During a very tough time to find bikes, the team at Trek Cottonwood were exceptionally helpful. We were able to find bikes for our family and have already enjoyed hitting a few easy trails. We appreciate the help and look forward to upgrading our gear with you all over the coming years.

The staff were fantastic. Bikes are in short supply, but Ryan and his staff went out of their way to make me the owner of two new Treks. Im accustomed to a much less enthusiastic experience when visiting bike shops. These guys did a great job of making me a lifetime customer.

I’ve been to the Trek store in American Fork and in Cottonwood Heights. I’ve purchased multiple bikes and accessories from them. I always go back because they have treated me exceptionally well every time. I don’t go to a different brand because of the quality of the products as well as the amazing customer service.

Long story short I had a bad experience when taking my bike in for service. After talking with the owner (Ryan) he and the service guys did what they could to get me our the door in the right way. Ryan is a great salesman and has a great team in site!But changing my review from 5 to 1 as have this experience:Rode my bike on 3rd day I noticed that small piece of rubber on my right hand grip was take off, for meit looks like manufacturing defect because I havent do anything that might damage it. And also I have another Marlin 6 bike for 2 years that doesn’t have any problems with it. I went online and found that trek has – “30-Day Unconditional Guarantee”, so decided to make a call to store and back to have a Ryan look at this part in case I can swap to a new grip.By his words I cant swap it as at the moment when the bike left the store it wasnt damaged. And yes I agree it wasn’t damage but should it last only 3 rides to get damaged? For me it looks like it’s not very good quality of grip or this “30-Day Unconditional Guarantee” doesn’t work well for me or maybe I misunderstood something then sorry! Feels a little bit unsatisfied! But overall bike is amazing!

I had Trek bike I was planning on buying second hand, but I was worried about the fit. Ryan watched me ride the bike, and offered some advice. I subsequently broke the chain in their parking lot and his team fixed that quickly (good timing). He even gave me the recommended settings for the suspension.Very helpful and friendly, even when I didn’t buy a bike from them. Great place.

I took my 30 year old mountain bike to another near by (high end) shop for some minor work. They were quite dismissive of the bike, but went ahead and replaced some cables as I requested. When I picked the bike up I was treated dismissively, and when I got the bike home the front derailleur was not working at all. I then took it to the Trek store in Cottonwood Heights. They were very upbeat and friendly. The mechanic was very knowledgeable and put everything in working order, including repairing the damage done by the other shop. All for less money than I would have expected. I look forward to returning for more excellent service.

Love this place, every time I come by with my bike they welcome me in and accommodate my every need, and they are never overbearing.After exhaustive research I can tell you that Trek makes some of the best Electric Bikes on the market for the price.I bought the Super Commuter+ 8 from this location 7 months ago, and after putting 1200+ miles on this bike, it has exceeded my wildest dreams.The service they have provided to help me keep my bike in optimal shape is top notch, and at a fair price, well worth it across the board!

These folks are great! It is nice to have a nearby Treks dealer who know the bikes inside and out. Their service is reasonably priced and done with care. Just the other day, they helped me with an issue and didn’t charge me for some labor. Needless to say, I will always have them care for my bike when the need arises. They know what they are doing.

Good service. I was so grateful for their help fixing my electric bike flat tire. Reason for the 4 stars is only because they quoted me $25 total but the next day when I picked up the bike to pay, they increased the quoted price to $35, just saying it was more work. But I am happy for their help in such short notice and would recommend.

Tennyson went through our older Madone and Specialized Ruby Comp bikes methodically, and replaced cables, housings, tubes, tires, and took the bike down to frame thoroughly cleaning all gears and components.The bikes now look and ride like new-even better than new, if possible! He also took time to explain Trek’s newest Wavecel helmet technology, which greatly reduces chance of concussion. Since “You only get one brain,” this upgrade was a no brainer!This is an especially busy time of year, but Tennyson completed all work as promised. Nuff said!

I contacted this store for help locating a bike that was only available out of state. They were willing to help me get that bike, but then Ryan, the manager, suggested I wait until the new model came out. Based on his advice, I did wait, and the 2021 Model is a big upgrade. Although this is not my local shop, the service has been such that Im happy to make the commute to do business with this store!

I purchased a Bontrager front light two years ago. About a year ago the switch became balky, making it difficult to turn on. Somehow the switch beneath the rubber top had moved internally and I had to manipulate it significantly to engage it. I took the light in to the Trek Store and they immediately replaced it with a new one from inventory. I figured it was out of warranty but the salesperson who helped me wasnt concerned about that. She just wanted to make it right. Unbelievable service. I NEVER post reviews, but they deserve 2 thumbs up for this service.

This is a follow-up to my previous excellent review of trek bicycles in Cottonwood Heights. I had some bikes in for service there was a small miscommunication and things were handled in a way that I wasn’t initially happy with. I contacted Ryan the manager, and I told him that I wasn’t comfortable with the way things occurred, and he took care of it and well exceeded my expectations. I think it is the mark of good customer service by how problems are handled, and this one was handled exceptionally well. I continue to be very satisfied with the service at this location and will continue to give them my business.

Dig the vibe here. Staff is extremely friendly and willing to help in any way. Inquire about local riding spots and they’ll provide you with more than you need. Couldn’t be more impressed, although certain I will be in the future. Thanks Ryan!

My son, at eleven, is finally tall enough for a real mtb. He graduated from the jr Superfly (a fantastic little 26, handed down now to his sister) to an XS in the Roscoe 7. The Cottonwood Heights Trek had it in his size - held it at my request - and cant thank them enough for that.

Took bike in on Sept 25 with a frame crack. No crash involved so should be covered by frame warranty. This is a custom order Trek Project One bike. So a mixed review. The shop seems to be doing what they can to get an answer out of Trek. But I am beyond disappointed in Trek itself which, even in the age of COVID, is taking insanely long to resolve this. Five weeks and, so far, nothing.

Since opening I have been in several times to pick up odds and end and to ogle the excellent bike inventory. Today I had an occasion to take advantage of the advertised 24 hour service expecting my bike to be done later in the week; not so! Within a couple hours they called to tell me it was ready. Repaired, serviced, lubed, and washed and way way less expensive than expected. A true bargain, and super speedy! By the way, the staff is enthusiastic, friendly, and knowledgeable and it’s fun to spend time with them. They have been that way every time I have ever been there. Definitely consider them my new home bike shop! Thank you guys for a great Sunday afternoon bike shop experience!

I tried out a new bike shop and I’m SOOOO glad I did. Ryan, one of the bike experts, did a great job on a bike repair for my new road bike. He even took the time to do the repair for me while I was in the store so I didn’t have to wait to return or anything. I received tremendously good customer service here. This is my favorite bike shop I have ever been to and I’d recommend them to anyone.

I wanted to replace a bottom bracket on a mtb, but didnt want to buy tools to remove and install a press fit. I called and they let me know the most cost effective to way to replace it was to remove the cranks. Easy suggestion as I do so monthly or bi weekly to keep a clean transmission. I really appreciate how invested everyone was in the installation of a boutique bottom bracket company. I was also able to keep my old BB in case I need one in a pinch. Cheers to good service and passionate mechanics!

This place is nice the! The Employees are very knowledgeable, and very helpful they helped me learn what I have to do next to fix a few of my bikes. But since money is tight right now I just asked for a chain to get things started. They even installed it which was more helpful to me! Thank you! I’ll definitely comeback when I have more money.

Ryan and his crew are first rate on bike knowledge and customer service. Ryan spent an hour helping me road test several Trek models to help me find the right bike. He answered all my questions and gave me fair and balanced answers when I asked comparison questions to other manufacturers. We bought 2 Verve 2 electric bike love the bikes, service and sales was extremely disappointing was told the battery builds memory which I know better also was told air pressure was about 40 pounds. I was also told there was two keys each for the battery removal my bike only had one. When the bikes where delivered both bikes where not set up seat post loose and rear tire was loose, 25 pounds of air pressure in the tires. Also had the cottonwood Heights store as well and service was just as bad.We took our first trip to north ID lots of bike paths there one bike had a break noise come up so we took the bike to Coeur D alene trek factory store and they were great, store was busy but they had plenty of staff took our bike right away and corrected all that was needed.In finishing I will not use the UT trek factory stores as they have failed us.

The store is clean, very organized and well-stocked with bikes and accessories. The service techs are great at what they do as well.

I went in to have a connector for my pet trailer installed on my back axel. They were super easy to talk to and work with! It was done in five minutes, and they pumped up my tires and did a quick fix to my break as well to send me off! Would highly recommend this place!

I was very impressed with Franklin, who went above and beyond to provide an exceptional level of customer service after UPS failed to deliver the bike I ordered on time. He identified another location that had one in stock, and drove across town to pick it up and ensure I was ready to ride that same day. Ive purchased 2 bikes (for now) and have had numerous services. I always get my bike back quickly and in tip top condition.

Franklin was a huge help with the suspension set up on my Top Fuel 9.8. I had spoken to Trek support several times since purchasing the bike in an attempt to fine tune the suspension for my weight and riding preferences. Franklin was extremely patient in explaining the nuances of the Fox suspension with the design of that bike and probably spent almost an hour with me. Nick-named him Dr. Suspension. The ride was smoother and I have been able to adjust shock pressure and rebound to suit the terrain. I race XTERRA Triathlon, and its imperative that I know how to adjust everything myself. Good tech guys are not always easy to find when traveling.

The bike people that sold me on my bike was amazing. He did not just put me on a bike and say sure that will fit. I was in between size so he really thought and fit me to the right bike. Which is amazing. Then the guy the put my bike together because it was still in the box was just as great. Put it together in no time. He always made sure it was fit to me. Honestly will only got to that trek store. Been to the one in bountiful ut and just not as good as cottonwood. I wish I remembered the 2 guys that help me because they were amazing. They also did not try to up sell me. I had a bike I could have used and he was listing the pro and cons to both bike. Honestly the best buy ever. I love how they did not try to up sell me at all. Very down to earth and knew what I need and wanted and gave me just that. Loved every second I was there. Amazing work.

I liked the bikes, but loved the customer service. Carrie, Aaron, and Ryan at the Cottonwood Heights store took a lot of time to work through what would work best for me without any pressure (I just upgraded from a commuter to a road bike, and since I was going to pay some serious money (for me, anyway), I wanted to make sure that I was getting what I needed). They really listened and were very helpful - heads and shoulders above some of the competition - and that helped convince me that Trek was the right company to go with. Since I bought my bike in June I have been back to the store a few times, and each time get friendly and helpful service--went in yesterday and Carrie and Aaron (and the mechanic, whose name I have not caught) helped talk me through some questions I had. No pressure, just helpful information. I love my Trek bike--that is the bottom line--but I feel great about buying it because I know the staff at Cottonwood are knowledgeable, helpful, and enthusiastic about what they do.

For starters, walking into the shop is a treat, the coolest bike shop Ive ever seen: not to mention the contents, what candy shop of great stuff. Even more important, I went in there expecting to be essentially booted out for my request to pursue a warranty on pedals I did not buy from them. Not only were they receptive, but sincerely warm and just plain nice to talk to. Ive been in many shops in my travels but this one stands out. With all the competition and internet deals these folks make the strong argument to patronize your local shop and get meaningful interaction with dedicated riders!!
