WHEN WE BOUGHT OUR HOME IN 2007, MY HUSBAND PROMISED ME THAT WE COULD REMODEL AND UPGRADE THE BUILDER SPEC FIXTURES AND MAKE IT MORE CUSTOM. I contracted Ironwood Custom Builders to build a guest bathroom in my basement. They were very professional. I had a weekly meeting where I could ask questions or clarify things they werent sure about. I also appreciated that all the workers were very nice and polite. My wife is home all day so it helped with my peace of mind.My wife and I were very pleased with the final results. My father is a contractor in CA so Im used to looking at the subtle details to verify good work. I dont have a single complaint. My wife left a few things down there that we were going to place on the sink. They even arranged them for her before they left! Thats just great customer service and attention to detail. Kelly Anderson was selected for a major kitchen and master bathroom renovation on our home. I was extremely pleased with his finished product mainly for 2 reasons. It was on-time and on-budget...my two main requirements. The communication from Kelly was fantastic and I rarely had to contact him. All change orders due to upgrades on fixtures or materials was immedietly reflected in writing and communicated what impact that choice would have on the project overall cost. He steered mje away from a material selection that would have been not only thousands m,ore in cost, would not have had nearly the impact of the material he actually said was a better value. My wife said she appreciated the cleaning the most. Kelly came by at the end of each workday to verify the subs had cleaned to his level of expectation (and ours!) and if not, he rolled up his sleeves, got out the broom and spend 30 minutes re-doing it. He understood the impact of living in a remodel situation and wanted to make it as painless as possible. I highly recommend Ironwood for any and all construction projects. I also live in the neighborhood where Kelly built several award winning homes so I know he can handle all projects from remodel, refinish to new construction.
