This would be zero stars if that was an option. We have been searching for a therapist for our son who needed assistance as he had trauma issues from previous medical history. We start to see Mike Huntley, who did not perform a thorough assessment and it was not clear what the plan was for our son. I should have been alarmed at that time about how Unprofessional this organization is. We held our hopes high as we wanted our son to get help.After a few visits, we mentioned to Mike that our sons behavior was getting a little more aggressive, when I called to ask about a plan and next steps he mentioned he would figure out additional resources and contact me back. He never called me back but wanted to keep appointments scheduled (maybe to bill us and get business?) and at our next visit decided to mention that he could not help our son - no reasoning why, very vague explanation and no offer of additional resources for next steps. He said all of this in front of our son, who is already suffering from mental health issues - extremely unethical and unprofessional. You couldn’t do this via a phone call or email? My son then continued to ask and question on the ride home why Mike could not help him. I would HIGHLY advise staying away from this organization if this is how a DIRECTOR handles patients or there lack of. Why would he state this on front of a CHILD who is already suffering with mental health issues. Now we have to work through why he was rejected from, what he considered, someone who was going to help him. No patient care in mind and basically dismissed my husband and son from the appointment with no additional resources or help.Keep your children safe and go elsewhere! It’ll save you all heartache and angst!! This is not how you handle patients let alone children. You should be ashamed Mike Huntley!
