Excellent service! Bought a van and it made a one way trip to Corvallis. Had it towed to Londons and he got to work. Ran great until it didnt. Bob gave us a call to just check on the work, we let him know it died and he was going to have it towed back all the way from Central Oregon back to his shop, so amazing. It turned out it had nothing to do with his work at all, but I have never had a mechanic offer services like that before. With a guarantee there is no reason to go here! Thank you Londons!!

I was last seen at Londons in July and picked my vehicle up on August. I sat on writing this review for a long time and I finally decided to write mine to inform and potentially help future customers. I believe the mechanics here do great work, are efficient, and take pride in their work. The owner himself was very professional and respectful. I have an issue with their pricing. While I believe they are about quality of work I do not believe their pricing is justified.I was originally quoted $525 by phone for repair of a front main crank seal replacement and a timing cover gasket replacement. The timing cover gasket is the most laborious of the jobs as it requires removal of the power steering pump and pulley tensioner. I was later told they did a diagnostic for $159 (which was fine) and that only the front main seal and serpentine belt needed replacement along with the harmonic balancer. Great news I thought! The labor cost should have gone down now that removing the various parts in the way of the timing gasket cover was no longer required. I was not quoted a new price of $745 since the harmonic balancer needed replacement. Okay I thought… much more expensive even with elimination of the most difficult job. I accepted the new price with no complaints and gave them the go ahead.Replacement of the front main crank seal and harmonic balancer was the easier of the two jobs by FAR. Access is gained by removing the passenger side tire, removing the serpentine belt and a single bolt. I was even told the job took roughly 2.5-2.7 hours. Upon arrival I was told my total price was $898.39. I was floored. How did this quote for $525 turn into nearly $900? I understand the $159.86 for diagnosis and I had accepted the charges for the parts but upon further inspection I was shocked with what I was charged for them.Attached is a copy of my receipt. Starting with the parts cost; I was charged nearly $300 for parts that if I had purchased myself from autozone or advance auto would cost one third at a liberal estimate of $100. Even one of those charges was $59.73 for “Job supplies” I am assuming I was charged for them to use parts they have on hand? To me this is not a normal charge. The rest was all labor coming out to nearly $600 at $599.49. Keep in mind this is a 2003 Honda CRV with 189,000 miles. If I had known that I would be charged this price I would have never agreed to it. I will say the owner did hear me and listen to my concerns and he explained them the best he could. He explained the disparity between the $745 and nearly $900 price was due to miscommunication over the phone, saying the price for the harmonic balancer was not added in. He could tell that I was upset over this and gave me a $75 coupon from online and I commend him for that. I believe that he did not want his customers feeling this way. I nearly withheld this review due to his action alone.After running the numbers I cannot but help feel betrayed. I know the exact job they did, and the only reason I could not accomplish this myself was due to the fact that I do not have an air powered impact gun to remove one single bolt. I can see they care about their customers, I just don’t think they see how unfair this pricing really is. This is just my experience, and as a college student every penny counts. I am not looking for any further explanations to this, I simply want to inform others of my experience and empower them to check what they are charged. If what I was told was true about 2.5-2.7 hours of labor then charging $600 for that is plainly wrong. Customers, If you have work that needs to be done, please consider getting multiple quotes from different places. I came from North Carolina where this same job was quoted $425 at Harrel’s Auto (you can google them) for labor and parts (minus the Harmonic balancer) Just did not have the time to get it done prior to my move.

My ride fell through at the last minute and they took me and my toddler daughter home and back again when my car was ready even though they are a small operation and didnt have many people working that day. I truly appreciate their willingness to go above and beyond for their customers. 10/10 would recommend Londons to anyone.

He addressed my concerns and is working to make it right. I appreciate this willingness to go the extra mile. I have an appointment to have an oil change soon. After that happens, I will review my experience and rating again.Original review: I set up an appointment for a tune up online, but was told they had never seen any online appointment made. I chalked it up to technology creating the problem. They took my van on Monday afternoon and told me they couldnt take a look at it until Wednesday. That was no problem. I called them Wednesday to check on the van and the man at the front counter told me that one of my ignition coils went out. He went through all the things they wanted to do for the tune up and then quoted a price over $800. He mentioned another problem and said that would take the price slightly north of $1000. I was floored. I called another auto shop and they quoted the repair at $350. When I went to pick up the van, Londons asked me why I was taking it to another shop. I explained everything and he started reworking the original quote. The man at the front counter then said that he could replace everything with the cheapest parts he could find, but I shouldnt be surprised if the check engine light came back on and I had to bring it back. With the CHEAPEST parts, he quoted me a price of over $450 which would also include the cost of their diagnostic ($56, marked.down from the original $104 he was going to charge). I took the van to another shop, had the work done with manufacturer recommended parts, and had it all completed in a timely manner with transparent pricing.I dont like posting negative reviews, but this was my experience at Londons. I didnt appreciate the fear tactic of buy this service with these parts, or you will have to bring it back used to upsell their service.

The guys at London are efficient and very social. They walked me through all diagnostics and recommended reasonable options without making any effort to oversell me. They also werent afraid to recommend other shops for certain automotive needs I was requesting.

Definitely recommend this place to OSU students, especially those who live on campus. I came here a few weeks ago, when my car was making a concerning clanging noise, and chose London’s since it was just a short walk from Tebeau Hall. Everyone was super helpful and got it figured out, and when I mentioned that I didn’t know much about cars, one of the mechanics took the time to open up the hood and explain all the work that they did in detail, which was awesome. When I needed some follow up work done today, the staff was extraordinarily quick to make sure everything got fixed correctly the same day, and now it’s running great! Wonderfully kind and helpful people~ When my car needs more work done in the future (which it undoubtedly will, since it’s pretty old), there’s no question that I’ll be coming back here :) 10/10 highly recommend!

I have used Londons for several years now and am always impressed by how honest, transparent, and efficient they are. Each time I go in, they have clearly explained the condition of the car, detailing what work is urgently needed, what needs to be monitored, and what may need adjustment down the line. Londons always provides me with enough information so that I can make an informed decision about which repairs to make. Almost every time they provide an estimate they have been under that estimate by the time the work is done. If there is anything new that crops up during an inspection, Londons always gives me a call before doing any additional work. They make car maintenance as painless as possible.

I was on my way home on a road trip when my radiator cracked. The staff at Londons were exceptionally helpful and friendly and were somehow able to squeeze me into a very busy schedule and have me on my way in less than six hours. The three other shops I called in Corvallis said they wouldnt be able to even look at it for days. They do excellent, quality work at honest, reasonable prices. Im new to Corvallis and was referred to Londons by a friend. They were able to get my vehicle in within a time frame that worked for me. Every interaction was professional and friendly. The repair to my car was less expensive than I expected. The only small disappointment I had was that I had to call them at the end of the day for an update. They run a busy shop, though, so I understand. Overall a good experience and Ill come back when I need more help!

Our family friend is a mechanic and when I needed work done away from home, I knew the fuel pump is a 1.5-2 hour job so I called around to get quoted $430 to replace the fuel pump and fuel filter...when I compared at Londons, I asked only for the quote on the fuel pump...was quoted $570...I recommend Johns Auto repair for a fair honest pricing...mechanics at both places seem to be great though. But Ill pay less for the same quality job.

Last week, my car broke down on the way to Eugene. Since its a well-loved (read: lots of miles) vehicle, I thought that Londons quote would include a host of extra problems. So I was pleasantly surprised when they called and told me that there was just one issue they needed to fix. When I asked if there were any other problems with the car, they then told me about the nonessential work they could do. Working with Londons was a very refreshing experience, and I will definitely be taking my Subaru there for all future work!

I would like to give great praise to the mechanics and technicians at London’s Automotive. Honestly, being a mechanics daughter I have very high standards. This place meet and exceeded them; Not only did they get my vehicle in fast, but fixed everything the same day.I and others helping me had done everything obvious to my vehicle and we were stumped as to why she was running so poorly. I had perviously taken her to a different shop and they told me that all Toyotas run rough... Needless to say I was not impressed. Much to my trying not to we decided we needed different eyes to look at her, so we decided on Londons.Londons Automotive was able to run proper tests and found three separate issues, hilariously enough the issues were all things that we did, but didnt do quite right. She runs like a dream now and Ive learned that Im not the best mechanic! Service was fast and reasonably priced and they were nice.For anyone who has an older vehicle and have run into issues that you cant seen to track down yourself, I highly suggest this shop.Honestly, they are good people here.

I was really lucky to find Londons when my car was acting up recently. As someone who doesnt know much about cars, it was nice to find an auto shop willing to answer all of my questions kindly and honestly.Shortly after Londons replaced my alternator, my car ran into problems and broke down several miles out HWY 99. A call the the shop and 15 minutes later, Londons came to my rescue again, towing my car to the shop and driving me back home. I was on the road again the very next morning.I would highly recommend Londons to anyone looking for quality service that goes above and beyond that of an average repair shop.

I have been taking my car to Londons for regular oil changes and the occasional maintenance issue for several years. Last month my car lost the power to accelerate while I was downtown. Fortunately I was close enough to get my car to the shop. Since this was an unscheduled, emergency repair, they werent able to get to it right away. However, they were great about keeping me updated about the diagnostic process and checking with me to be sure I agreed on the cost of the work to be done. When I went in to pick up my car I was pleasantly surprised to find out I owed less than what had been originally quoted. They have always been courteous and trustworthy and they dont talk down to me. I will continue to take my car to them.

The guy who runs the front counter is a total $#@#$% I read some of the Reviews I think they hired a company to give them reviews or have been asking friends to leave comments.
