These guys are great!! They have a young tow truck operator named John and he did an outstanding job with safety and overall handling his tow. This was a huge F-350 and saftley and professionally towed it to our location. This company has a great asset with John operating their tow trucks! Nice job John and very impressive for your age and ability to do what you did!! I’m using Bobs auto repair from now on and most of my clients will as well.

We made the mistake of bringing my Sons car here for service. My son told the service department the issue he was having with the idle. We wew told that they would diagnose the problem and get back to us. After over a week with no call back we contacted them. They said that they fixed the idle but needed to take out his alarm system and do further diagnostics to make sure the problem would not return. They began to removed his alarm system and went no further. They never did call us back like they said they would. We called them after over a week and they said the transmission is bad and that we will need to get that fixed before they will do any further diagnostics. The transmission is not bad. I let them know that we will not be having them do the transmission and we want to come pick up the car. They charged my son $250 the full amount my son had told them he had. They made the idle problem so much worse than ot ever was. Now the car dies every time my lets his foot off the gas. The alarm system was not put back in properly and they broke the hood pin and now the hood will not shut all the way. When my son asked them about that they admitted the broke it but told my teenage son that he would need to fix it. When I called to speak with them they admitted that the idle probably wasnt fixed properly but they would not do anything about it unless I let them replace the transmission. I do not recommend the repair side of this business. I am considering taking legal action. It it predatory to take advantage of young hard working teenagers and what kind of business damages what they are being paid to fix only to charge you and then refuse to fix the damage they have done!

I chose them because they have a towing understanding with State Farm. Problem, battery will not stay charged thru the night. Told I needed new battery and could not proceed with testing. I said okay. Ended up replacing battery, alternator, alternator fuse, belt, switch in brake system. Still problem.Took car to battery exchange, they said alternator not charging battery. I took it back to Bobs. They now say it has a new problem with a safety switch in the gearing system and needed more money.Ive spent over $1000 with them. It is a 2006. They are chasing Butterflies. Will take it to the dealership when I can get the funds. In the meantime, I disconnect the battery when not in use, and jump start the car about 80% of the time. Driving around for hours does nothing except waste gas.

I locked my keys in my car and they were there with in ten minutes, 😁 fastest Ive had my car opened (Ive done this a few times lol). Would definitely be the one Id call again, if I needed it *knocks on wood*.

I was locked out of my car and my husband was having eye surgery; I was panicked that I wouldnt be there in time to pick him up which would leave him stranded. Bobs staff answered my call quickly; within five minutes Jason was on site and was able to unlock my door. I was able to reach my husband in time. Very kind and professional. Wonderful customer service! Would highly recommend them.

Driver 79 picked up my car today and wasn’t wearing a mask. That is incredibly unprofessional and not okay when you work for a business like this. Not only was he not wearing a mask he also towed my car all the way to the destination, when he could’ve just told us it was a battery issue and towing wasn’t necessary, but instead he towed it all the way from Monmouth to Corvallis and charged us for it. This business claims they care about their customers and their safety but still do not wear masks when on the job. I do not recommend this towing service.

John came and drag me out of a very muddy-filled at 2:00 a.m. in the morning. I had all my kids with me, no other towing company would come because it was pretty far away and in the middle of the night. That guy is amazing, pretty much our hero!

Called AAA for a tow to our mechanic for a grinding sound coming from my front tire. Jason from Bobs Auto called and came right when he said he would. While driving the car toward the tow truck, he heard the noise and recognized what it was! Two minutes later, he pulled out a tiny rock that had been lodged in the tire between the rotor and dust cover. He suggested I take a test drive. The noise was gone and I had driven it for 5 miles! Still no noise. Thanks Jason!

Cameron drove 100 miles to rescue us from a very remote area. He fixed the problem and then followed us into town to make sure we made it. John in dispatch kept us updated on the drivers location. He was very reassuring. I would not hesitate to recommend this tow company.

AAA sent Bobs auto out to me for a flat tire. I was fully expecting a tow, as my spare tire had a thumb tack in it. Jason from Bobs auto showed up, took the tack out, and tested the spare to see if it would get me to Les Schawb so I could get my real tire fixed. Jason rescued me twice in 2 weeks. This last time I had a blow out. In order to get us to safe place he reversed ahead of me while I slowly drove behind him to a driveway off Hwy. 34 so he could do his job. Jason provided great service! I originally called to have my car towed to the neared auto repair center from a blown out wheel. Instead Jason was able to replace my wheel with a spare I had for way less than to have it towed. Saved me both time and money!

Bobs gets the second and third stars because they are friendly and courteous in their face to face interactions and seemingly competent. They lost the rest because when I chose not to get repairs done with them they charged me $100 to move the car to the street in addition to a $50 diagnosis fee. All in all, Id suggest getting your car towed somewhere that will charge less to move a car 20 feet to the street.

Technician, Jason, was awesome. My battery was dead, couldnt be jumped but he got it going with magically adjusting the starter. He followed me to my mechanic and gave me a ride back home! Amazing service. 5+ stars!

Seth came to my rescue. He was VERY kind, personable, knowledgeable, and willing to go the extra mile (literally) to assure my and my passengers safety. I had a blown out tire and had to pull off the road in a rather unsafe area. Seth made sure I was able to move my car to a safe area to install my spare, then followed me to nearest Les Schwab to buy a replacement tire. Five stars for over all service, three stars for the hour long wait time, only because it was hard on my 98 year old passenger.

My wife locked her keys and purse in her car. Called Triple A and was told it would be an hour wait. This was on a Beaver football game night after the game. Within 30 minutes Bobs towing was there and the tech got right to work and explained to us what he was doing. He was very pleasant and professional. He was in the car within a few minutes.

Bobs Towing is fabulous! I locked my keys in my car on a Saturday. I called AAA and within 15 minutes Eric from Bobs Towung had arrived! I couldnt believe how fast he was. He got right to work and my keys were found. AAA said my wait would be 1 and a half hours...I dont think so! Not with Bobs! I am very grateful.

Driver Eric drove to Albany, picked up my vehicle and took it to the repair shop I specified. He was a bit early and tried to get it started. When he loaded for the tow, he carefully tied it down then stopped after a short distance to check all the tie-downs. Very professional with excellent customer service.

Our car was T-boned recently by a driver who failed to see a stop sign. In the initial aftermath, Darren from Bobs Auto and Towing was miraculously on the scene way before Police! This guy is a champ and immediately turned on his trucks large hazard lights on the tow truck to slow incoming traffic and direct them around. He patiently waited for the Police to complete their work before scooping up my totaled Camry and taking it back to the shop. I really appreciated how he was able to pitch in to help stabilize the scene of a fresh accident! Give this guy a big New Years Bonus!

I called AAA because my Honda Civic wouldnt start, and they sent these guys out to try a jump. This didnt work (not their fault - the battery was severely discharged, and I suspected the fuel pump was already on the fritz), so I had them tow it to their shop. The tow went very smoothly (of course, I had the key and this wasnt a parking violation tow). I was a little concerned when they said they didnt know how long it would take, but they diagnosed it, fixed the problem, and had the car up and running a few days later - very reasonable since much of that time was spent waiting for other parts (battery and then fuel pump) to come in. They kept in touch and called as necessary to let me know what was going on, and what parts they would need to charge me for. The price for labor was reasonable for the time it took (diagnosis + install), and the car is now running very nicely. If I need more work done in the future, Ill probably come back here.

My car wouldnt start and I had triple a send out a tow truck, initially I thought my battery was dead but my lights were still coming on so then I began thinking my starter was shot and I was resigned to having my car in the shop for a few days but Nick the tow truck driver thought we should check my battery first. Turns out the battery was the problem, Ill need to have it replaced but Nick made it possible for me to drive home and he did so quickly. Cant recommend these guys more if youre looking for great service got to Bobs!!

I was very disappointed with my experience here. My car was towed here after an accident. I will say I was spoken to kindly, and they returned my phone calls promptly. When I asked for a quote for a second tow off their lot, they gave me a fairly reasonable number, but then I informed them my insurance would be paying. They told me to wait a second, and then tripled it. While it was no money out of my pocket, my insurance had to pay an astronomical bill for minimal service. Dishonest.

Fantastic Setvice. Seth showed up ahead of schedule and had the car started right away. Then Seth gave me a quick tutorial on the battery charger gadget he used

The technician who helped me this morning was extraordinary! After trying a few different thing to jump start my car with failure, he told me the problem was not with the battery but with the starter. And he used a tool to get my car started so I was able to drive my car to Trusty Auto Repair shop for service. Truly Trusty confirmed with a bad starter later. Had Bobs do a lock out, the person they sent out was rude and had a serious attitude problem. The lock out took 15 seconds and he wanted us to also tip him 40$ on top. Next time wed be better off breaking the car window and buying a replacement from the scrap yard

I blew a tire on my 2015 Volvo on highway 34 at rush hour. Dark, cold and rainy. The spare is a can of flat fixer. Useless on a blown out tire. I called AAA and within 15 minutes Eric arrived. He was very safety conscious and polite. He loaded my car and took me to Les Schwabs on 3rd in Corvallis. They were closed but Will was there and opened up to take the car in. He ordered tires and a very frustrating experience was made tolerable. Should get the tires and be back on the road today. Good job Eric and Will !

SoCal review: He was great. Our Tundra broke down off the 60 at box springs yesterday. Helped us get to a safe place and offered suggestions to help troubleshoot. We ended up just needing gas lol. We were pretty nervous, but he made us feel safe and was really quick getting to us and hooking us up. Was extremely polite..Definitely an asset to the company.

Our driver, Seth, had us connected and on our way to Les Schwab in no time. He certainly had command of all his tools to do the job professionally. While it took them a while to get to me (they were busy, I was patient) once they arrived, my car was opened within minutes. I didnt catch the name of the employee who helped me, but he was very kind to me, and when I thanked him for his help, he replied Im glad to, its my job! Regularly used their mechanic until they tried to rip me off. I brought my car in and they could not diagnose the problem. They had the car for 2 weeks and even had a GM master mechanic working on it. Finally they called and said it would be over $1000 to fix. I refused to let them continue doing any work. I researched the problem and found it was a common issues with the type of car. I spent $80 and ended up diagnosing and fixing the problem myself. How could a Master Mechanic not know about this common issues and easy fix?Would never trust them with my vehicle.

My brother had an incident in the middle of nowhere (Alsea, OR) with my van, and had it stuck in the mud off an embankment. My right tire was hanging off an embankment, I didnt think we would ever get it out of that thick horrible mud. AAA sent out Bobs auto repair to help us out. They were timely, professional, and incredibly qualified for the job. Scott helped tow my van out of a mud pit, and he stayed with us until we were able to safely drive off. I just hope if I ever need a tow, that I am close to Bobs auto repair! THANK YOU SCOTT!
