Service was done meeting all my expectations . The time it took was shorter than the original estimate. The price was reasonable and less than expected. I needed a new tire that I was not anticipating and they showed me an inexpensive one initially vs. an expensive one. Manager was courteous.. Waiting area is not as nice as the typical car dealer. I rate my experience, expense, and time spent 4.7 stars.

Everything was handled extremely well. However this was by far the most expensive oil change I’ve ever received. I usually get one for $40 and this was $80 so I will definitely not be coming back.

Amazing work!! Work was completed sooner than expected. This was an unforeseen issue, and did not have an appointment. Communication was great and the fix looks great!

Needed a flexible coupler installed...a $15 part...they want me to replace the entire pipe with converter! I dont think so folks. Try and take someone else for a $400-$600 ride. Simple job made more difficult because people cant think for themselves and work outside the box.

I went to Monro for a car inspection and it was super easy and affordable. They were really understanding when I had to reschedule last minute. Ann was fast and thorough, and John was very friendly and knowledgeable.

This is a great example of customer service at its finest! I went in to get an oil change and a ny state inspection on my pick up truck. All was completed as I waited including a replacement bulb. I have been using Monros service for over ten years, and every interaction and transaction with John and the rest of his staff has been both friendly and courteous. They are fair in their prices and John has resolved issues for me, even when they have come as a result of some work I have had done at other places. We are fortunate to have professionals like John still putting their value in customer service and community pride.

Technician clearly pushed me too do more work then I stated I wanted done.I was clear and specific.Clean and customer friendly.Allowed me too see what they had to repair before work began.80$ for 1 muffler clamp seemed too much.Muffler was slightly louder when I left.Very friendly and allowed me to wait for repair to be made.

Went in this morning for my oil change had to bring the kids with me. John was amazing gave the kids tires to roll around while waiting for my oil change and for them to fix my headlight. Very friendly took the kids out to see the duck in the back swimming around in the mud puddle. Only place Ill go for my oil change. Thanks guys. John thank you for keeping the kids entertained with the tires definitely helped keeping them from getting antsy.

I highly recommend this Monro location. The staff and its supervisor, John, are very kind and helpful. They are the type of mechanics that bring you to your car and show you what the issues are when they find them, theyre not trying to sell you unnecessary service, theyre just trying to keep you safe and your car at top service. And special thanks to them because they got me in last minute in the midst of the virus chaos when theyve been severely understaffed. I give them 10 out of 10 stars if I could!

John and Daisy were so friendly and incredibly helpful! I stopped in asking if I could purchase a bottle of break fluid and they offered to just top it off for me. I would absolutely recommend!

This is by far the worst car mechanic I have been to. First of all, they tried to charge me an extra $150 for a repair job and when i wanted a second opinion their price magically dropped $150. Secondly, The tire they gave me went flat in 36 hours and they wouldnt replace it for free because they said there was evidence that someone drove on it while it was flat (which no one did). I am 95% sure this was because the tire they gave to me probably already had a small hole in it and thats why it looks like it was driven on while flat because it was slowly deflating after they put in on my car. They refused to admit it may have been their fault and refused to put a new tire on for free. Thirdly, to top it all of the staff were acting extremely unprofessionally while I was there. They were swearing at each other and one employee was mad and drove a customers car extremely recklessly in the parking lot. Overall, I would not recommend Monro to anybody that needs their car serviced for any reason.

Great fast service

I stopped in at the shop earlier this evening. I had previously purchased a low beam bulb for my headlight and went to Monroe auto service to see if they could put the new bulb in for me. When I walked into the shop, John greeted me with a smile. He asked me what brought me in today and I explain my situation with my impala. He immediately got his service tech guy working on my car. The tech brought my headlight into the shop, where he and John showed me what was going on with the headlight. The service tech advised me there was nothing wrong with the bulb and cleaned out the Corrosion in between the connectors. Before I knew it my car was out of the shop. I asked John what I owed him, And he graciously told me nothing. I told him that I appreciate his time and generosity. I would recommend these guys to anyone and I am definitely going back!! Thanks John and team!!

I’ve had very positive experiences with this particular Monroe Muffler shop on several occasions.When I first bought my car, they gave me a very thorough and honest report of its condition.Another time I was in town, and I had an unexpected issue, and even though they were obviously busy with other customers, they were able to help me so I could safely get back home.Today, I was scheduled for service, and again I was treated with courtesy and professionalism by John and his staff.I would highly recommend this shop to anyone appreciating honesty, and good service.

You see I had a doctor’s appointment that I had to make the same afternoon. I always have a good experience in coming to Monroe thanks to John and his polite and knowledgeable staff. This morning we were out of state and needed new tires today. We came to the shop with a donut tire because we had a cracked tire last night. We were greeted by John with old fashioned customer service. He immediately took care of us. We got 4 new tires and a wheel alignment. 5 stars for sure for this place! Took my 06 Tundra in for some exhaust work. Work that included some fabrication. Made an appointment for the following morning early. Technician took my keys before I made it to the office and got right to work.Repairs were completed relatively quickly and I feel I got a quality repair.Very personable manager. I made an appointment to have my oil changed this morning. My car was taken in right away and oil changed was completed quickly. Jonah (tech) completed a check on some other things and recommended some work for future service. John in the office was very friendly and helpful and found a few discounts for me. What a relief to find a shop that was trustworthy and sincere. There is nothing worse than a breakdown while traveling alone, and as a woman it was so refreshing to be treated with dignity and respect and not oversold on things I didnt need. John Van Dee is a great employee! Just had my car inspected by Mavis, was supposed to be safe, turns out my suspension was rotted and my front sway bar link was completely dislodged and could have gone into my tire. Thank goodness I came to Monroe!

While in Ithaca from Michigan, I had a flat tire. Tried to get it repaired at various tire shops but they were all booked up for days. Monro Auto squeezed me in. The valve stem was leaking so they rebuilt it instead of replacing it. I know from experience that it saved me about $40.00.Also, the Monro Auto team was very nice.

I brought my car in for a load muffler. The staff was friendly and worked quickly to take care of me. I sat and waited for the work to be completed. During that time I watched every customer be treated with respect and kindness. Thank you for providing such great customer service. Great group of guys over there.

Jonah, one of the techs took the time to check my entire vehicle during an oil change. He found my tires were badly damaged, and John not only helped me find a financially agreeable option, but he was able to find some coupons to help! I do a lot of driving for work, and it was really great knowing someone was looking out like that.

Been great until their manager or whatever, desk jockey John vandee made false statements about my ladies business. I think their full 69 point inspection for a full synthetic oil change deal is to convince people they need to fix something.

My Aunt went there Friday to have an oil change, and from what she has expressed to me is that this is the auto shop to go to. Good people, atmosphere was relaxed she enjoyed waiting for her vehicle. They were friendly, respectful and talked to her not at her. She said, This is the shop I plan on going to from now on.

I was calling all around Cortland for someone to just tell me if my car was safe to drive to work after hearing a non stop grinding noise. Monro Auto saw me right away and fixed the problem. Heat shield flapping in the breeze. Kind enough to show me and get me back on the road for work.
