Took my grand daughter for a mani/pedi and we had a wonderful experience. Im making Cali Nails my go to nail salon!

Called and made my appointment.Once I walked in, right away I was greeted. I felt very welcomed.One person did my toes.( got shellac )And the other person did my nails (SnS)(Got my toes and nails done at the same time)And let me tell ya, they took their time. Was in there for almost 2 hours. Got 2 glasses of wine. They where very friendly and talkative. I highly recommend this nail salon. Will be back!!

We go in waited awhile to be greeted, sat down and a man ask for our nail and phones numbers I don’t understand why they would need our phone numbers, then outta know where he put a temperature gun to our heads he didn’t ask or anything it was very uncomfortable. So I asked the lady for just classic French tip I believe her name was “Lee” she gave me the hardest time about it but she put the biggest glob of white on and I showed her the picture I wanted and basically telling me she can’t do it like the picture, so then I just asked for ombré so then next thing that she did was she started doing ombré but I could see where the line begins under the pink acrylic, I asked her why is the line showing she just started to arguing with me and didn’t really answer my question, I asked her “do you use that pink acrylic for ombré “ she said “no” then I said “then why are you using it, this isn’t a ombré it’s basically very very light see thru acrylic “ and she just got very Rude and after that I just gave up and asked her to take them off . Probably the worst experience I have ever had at salon by far I will be telling my friends and family about this place .They definitely don’t know how to do “today’s “ style of nails or just a classic French tip.

I just moved to the area and I tried Cali Nails on Staples and Yorktown and I was very impressed! The young lady did a fantastic job on my cuticles! They were awful, and she took her time really making my toes and nails look beautiful. I will be back very soon! They truly are #1!!! Thank you! ❤️

BEST Nail Salon in Corpus Christi!! FT and Sophia are amazing and do such a great job. This is the only salon my husband will go to. They provide excellent customer service and go above & beyond to ensure their customers are satisfied.

I don’t live on the southside of town anymore, but made sure to make a trip to have my nails done (SNS). They last really well! Service is great too.Side note- I remember when my daughter was still a baby, I just wanted my nails done for a little uplift for myself and my daughter got impatient very fast - the staff there helped entertain her just so I could have my nails finished. Thank you all for that :)

I absolutely love this place. The royal spa pedicure with the exfoliation, moisturizing creams, parrifan wax, hot towels with stones and the relaxing massaging of feet and lower leg is fantastic. The attention to detail and how they take their time is top priority. Very friendly and clean atmosphere. Highly recommend this place.

They have a nail tech named Michael and he is absolutely amazing and he is the only reason I would even give the business one star! His work is phenomenal! He takes his time and gives you the best quality experience! If Michael is not there, do not waste your time.But if you do, ask for Michael and you will not be disappointed!But I had to leave a review because of the horrible service.The owner is rude and the most unprofessional business owner i have ever encountered. She is always understaffed and usually in a bad mood. No one greets you when you walk in and she never even makes eye contact with you. She rushed my nail care and forced the person on my toes to do a rushed job as well. Ive watched her start soaking off gel nails on a customer and then informing them that the wait would be 45 minutes. But once youve started soaking, its too late to just leave.I did try again and thats when I got Michael and I will forever go to him! Hes just that good. But aside from Michael, I would not recommend this place at all.

I was traveling through the area and stopped at Cali nails. They were very friendly and thorough in giving a pedicure I would recommend their services. if you’re in the area stop in and receive the services they are very good.

This is the best manicure I’ve ever had. The gentleman that did my nails was so precise and it has lasted over 2 weeks. Most of the time I get shellac nails I end up peeling them off before a week is done.

Not the same anymore. Use to be the place I loved to go to. Now they just dont have staff that know how to do a good job like before. Tried to go back a couple of times but came out very disappointed. Cant handle long nails! Wouldnt recommend you going there if you like to keep your nails long. (Location next to meat market on Staples and Yorktown). Sorry guys :/

The best SNS and Pearl Spa pedicure I have ever had! Friendly staff that goes above and beyond to ensure you are comfortable and happy with your service. The nail salon is clean and they take their time with clients. I would drive an hour just to come here!!

I have gone to several new nail salon in the city and tried more in the neighboring area. I finally came to this one that I like far more than any other nail places. I had my gel nail, pedicure and full face wax. My mom got her pink and white solar and pedicure while my friend had SNS Dip Powder, bikini wax, and eyelash extensions. After nearly four weeks, our hand nail are still there with only minor nail chip and grew much longer. They really cleaned and shaped our waxes. The eyelash extension last nearly three weeks before I refilled. Our pedicures was relaxing, beautifully shaped and cleaned.

Sophia and FT are very professional and always take good care of my feet. I highly recommend them. Absolutely the best!!

I have been to this location and everytime it has been pleasant. I have never waited more than 10-15 minutes and have always had a wonderful pedicure. I have had 1 manicure and it was great as well. Only negative is they want Cash Only.

I drive an hour from Beeville, TX to Corpus Christi, TX, just to get a WONDERFUL PEDICURE, Sophia and the rest of the employees are so very detailed and precise with taking care of my feet. I have been here 3 times and enjoyed each time. They are very respectful and very detailed with their quality. Each time my mani/pedi have been perfectly done unlike a fancy salon I previously would go to. My 10 year old god daughter had a great time and was treated very nicely. The Cali nails on Staples near the staple street meat market are very unprofessional. I will never go there again. Plus the manicure that the woman gave me came out really bad. Then on top of that the guy made up his own price that wasn’t even on the price wall. Really sad.And yes I did have a completed mani, because I got charged full price for for one!!! I got charged for it even though it looked horrible!!! SMH!!!!

They knew we were not from the area. Over charged us. When my daughter questioned the cost they had explanation for all services. But once we talked to a number of people from the area we in fact paid way to much.

I usually dont write reviews but this place is worth it. I dont know how anyone could give this place a negative review. I have been doing my nails for years and I have never been as pleased with my nails as I am with this place. I drive 45 minutes each way to get here (passing several nail salons along the way) and Im never let down. I do SNS and she is meticulous that every nail is shaped perfectly and are the same EXACT length. She takes her time and will turn away a customer before rushing one out of the door. If youre looking for beautiful nails, this is the place. If you want to be hurried in and out, this is not.

Ive been there on 3 occassions this past year and I really enjoyed the pedicures. Michael and Sophia are the ones who have done my pedicures and I normally have in grown nails being a nurse and working on my feet for hours and they were very gentle and didnt hurt much like other places Ive been to. Recently, on my last visit I had shellac nail polish removed from a week prior done to my fingernails because they were like halfway on my nail bed which I normally dont get, again because Im in the medical field. When I went to pay they charged me $5 for the removal which it did irritate me a little since I had only had them done the week prior, anyway FT was very rude and started to complain to Michael in their language and I did the same with my daughter in our language. He then proceeded to be more obnoxious and said to me, that the light and water have to get paid somehow. WOW! no customer service skills there buddy. I will continue to go there only because of Michael and Sophia, but if I have another bad experience again in general, I will never go back. And to the owner, yes this is the right nail salon on Staples.There is no need for my picture to be on rhe account. When I said recently, it was not in the last couple of weeks. This happened in the last few months, about May, beginning of June and yes, Michael was there. There is no reason for me to make this up; futhermore, the morality here is***there is NO NEED to be RUDE to your customers, nor for such SARCASISM.****

Where to start.....I was really enjoying this nail salon until a couple weeks ago. The pedicure ladies do an outstanding job, but when I got to the nail portion I was treated badly. I asked for a manicure and pedicure, but decided on an SNS dip powder to nails. Apparently this means you only want the product put on your nails, and no cleaning up of nails/cuticles (otherwise know as a manicure) is done prior to putting $35 product on nails. When I asked about doing cuticles, the owner told me it was too late and proceeded to tell me that the service does not include a manicure and that I am a different person because I was asking for this. SO basically you get a lovely $35 product put on top of crap nails....and I was told it is my responsibility to say exactly what I want as the customer. I thought I did?? I was repeatedly talked back at when inquiring, and when I told her I felt like she was challenging me (instead of just saying sorry we had a misscommnuication) she told me there are video cameras we can look at and if I wanted to get loud about this and let everyone in the salon know we could. Wow.....WHAT?? Then her spouse tried to talk to me in a civilized manner and informed me that a manicure does not alway mean cuticles, etc....So if you choose to go here be sure and spell out exactly what you want. This terrible manner of communicating and treatment of paying customers, just lost this business my patronage!

I have been going here for months and up until recently I’ve had nothing but great experiences. For some reason they keep telling me one thing when I call and then another like no appointments on Saturday and for me to call 30 minutes prior to me coming in to see if they can see me. They just lost my business.
