The staff at LK Jordan in Corpus Christi were very professional. I was working with Yvonne Chavero she carried herself very professionally, and her work ethics and experience showed in our interview. She kept in contact with me at least every other day with updates on job positions, or just to see how I was doing with my job searches. I would recommend LK Jordan to anyone in need of a job and would definitely recommend them to Yvonne.

I took their office jobs tests for several times because their computers were not working.I was finally sent to an interview. I told her after it was over. I thought it went well.I never received a response.I called her 3 more times but never received anything. I called the office and told them what had gone on, or lack of.A manager asked me to go back to the office. She claimed something happened with the lady I was dealing with. She said that she would keep me informed. As soon as something came out she would call me. That was about a year and a half ago.I obviously wasted my time and the gas that I cant afford.I

They tell you to report accident then when you get hurt and when you report it they tell you you cant go back to the job even though it was accident and did what the company I was at said dont get anything for pain so I didnt then after still lost the job I should have reported it to someone who wouldnt have brushed it under the rug absolutely dont trust this company and anything they say. Yeah thanks alot she called to argue and tell me its not her problem Im just gonna file complaints with the BBB and the attorney general and anyone else I can to get treated like this for a little accident i know she dont care shes getting paid for having people like me to do all the work but other employment agencies have never treated people the way they do at this Corpus office please look into it.

I visited their office 3 months ago to officially sign an necessary forms needed and was told to apply online and that day I met with 2 ladies and was never told who my direct contact was. Fast forward a month and a half later and I can no longer sign in and the woman answering the phone transfers me to who she says is my contact to fix the issue and I have to leave a message(at this point I have applied for probably 3-4 jobs without so much as a phone call). A week later she still has not returned my call so I call back to ask what I need to do an someone else answers and fixes the problem right then and tells me who I left a message with is not my contact anyway. I ask about applying for previous jobs and not hearing anything and she said that’s odd so I ask to be transferred to my contact. Again I leave a message with no call back. I call back 2 days later and ask to speak to the office manager, I finally get to speak to my contact and they explain about the call in number (not explained the first meeting) and to keep applying. Here we are another month and a half later and nothing else has changed. I even sent a email to ask to plead add my application to a job posting the same morning the posted it and was told it was on hold. Why post the job on the website it others don’t have a shot. My contact has not reached out to me once in the 3 months I have been signed on.

Karen Barnes has been a great help to me. I have been placed in work environments that are equally suited to my qualifications. The staff here in Corpus Christi is very professional and willing to help.

Ive worked for LK Jordan in two cities. The location in Corpus Christi has placed me in two roles to my satisfaction, however, when I was ready to make a change I was ignored. More recently I have emailed about vacancies with zero response. I also know there was a position I applied for that the agent forgot to submit me for even though I was a great fit according to her. Then I missed out on scheduling an interview. I dont understand the lack of communication with their candidates. Im an experienced professional that has definitely made this company money in the past, with great references to follow. Why the disconnect?

Lk jordan dont respond to voicemails emails nothing I ask April to sign a paper I faxed her never got it back no answer to my voice mail or nothing smh just crazy

First off, I went there as a walk in and refused to help telling me I had to do an online application before I set an appointment, ok I get that, so after I did all that I finally got a response and got a gig with a catering company. At that point I thought I would be landing more gigs or at least a temp to hire position. I’ve received no help since, I email the girl that I was assigned to and she refused to help after personally telling me I can contact at anytime. I have 9 years of customer service, I was a manager for AT&T and they assume I can’t do anything else. I’m educated and very capable of doing warehouse and office duties but this temp agency has thrown me off to the side with the dogs. I went there in the first place because a friend of mine told me her boyfriend and sister both landed really good jobs with no prior experience in the workforce so that makes me wonder what’s up with that.

I can tell you for a fact that the negative reviews here are a far cry from my experience with the amazing team at LK Jordan. In less than two months, LK Jordan succeeded in placing me with an esteemed organization. Karen Barnes and Denise James, both employees of the aforementioned organization, are simply wonderful. Theyve been very accessible and kept me up-to-date with the process until fruition. They called me repeatedly and even sent me emails to let me know that they hadnt forgotten about me and were doing all they could in securing a job for me. All you have to do is follow their instructions, which includes checking in with the agency at least, three days in a week and I can guarantee that youll get the job of your dreams. Also, respect begets respect. Be courteous in your interactions with the team and you will make a great impression. No agency wants to send out rude candidates to organizations as that could tarnish their image.Even though I was offered a temporary position, the benefits are beyond what I could have imagined at such short notice. This experience marked the very first time I ever solicited the services of an agency in securing a job and I am encouraged to continue in this path. No doubt, LK Jordan has raised the bar which would be tough for other recruiting agencies to follow.

I only wasted my time going to their office and filling unnecessary paper work if I’m not going to have a job. The lady Mrs April Deleon, has not responded to my emails about a job I was inquiring on. I find this place really unprofessional. I wouldn’t want to consider trying to apply for a temp service agency again, I want to get paid what I’m worth and not having a temp service getting their “Cut”.

UPDATE: Ive since dealt with a LISA who called me an ENTITLED MILLENNIAL whos FANCY COLLEGE DEGREE isnt special, and VERBALLY ASSAULTED ME over the phone to the point of tears about how I, A SINGLE MOM WITH OVER 10 YEARS OF ADMIN EXPERIENCE AND 8 OF MANAGERIAL EXPERIENCE, HAVE NO IDEA HOW THE REAL WORLD WORKS. She then hung up on me after I pleaded with her to help me then if my resume was so terrible and to help me make it better. After that DISGUSTING DISPLAY, I dealt with Karen Barnes who continuously told me I wasnt qualified for simple administrative work and lost track of my resume repeatedly. Mellissa Q was kind and helpful.Old Review: Ive been with LK Jordan for about a year now and I have not received A SINGLE PHONE CALL aside from the initial sign up process for which I was called repeatedly and talked down to through. The woman assigned to me was extremely short with me and would call me at work (the job I was leaving) arrange the interview or critique my resume, She would get upset when I asked If I could call later because I was at work and would continue talking. I repeatedly told her I could speak via email but she got offended when I said I could not talk at the moment. I honestly feel that her personal feelings towards me are why I have not had one job opportunity. I tried calling and asking if they were still looking for me I was greeted with Well you should be applying for jobs on your own too.. There was also an availability line that I was never told about and me not calling this line every single week was the reason for never receiving a call? This is ridiculous. I am new to the Corpus area. So I figured a staffing agency was a great way to find employment. After applying to numerous places, I thought Id Google a staffing agency. They are a Sorry excuse for a staffing agency!!! I have a bachelors degree, and my past experience is sufficient for many job openings. I interviewed with two people. They are a waste of time. I have emailed them potential jobs and they rarely contact me back. I gave up on them! Cant believe theyre still in business!!! Im an Army Sergeant veteran with remarkable credentials. I have NEVER been contacted for a job. Only THREE DAYS after going to Texas Workforce Solutions, I was offered a position as a Social Worker! Id advise you to try there and forget about this place!!!

2 years ago they sent me on a job that I had originally did not want. The employer then changed the hours on me. I worked a day for that company whos trainer did not train me at all but threw bugs at her co-workers. The next day I let L.K. Jordan know my situation. They told me they could no longer help me. I luckily found another job on my own but now that Im searching for work they still wont help. Im very valuable and believe I fit into alot of their positions posted. Very unfortunate.

Extremely rude and unprofessional. I have experience in sales, construction, management, finance and accounting, and I hold 3 degrees, needless to say I’m not some teenager or unskilled worker. I called them because I was having an issue with their website not letting me apply and kept getting a message screen stating to contact the local office. I’m glad I did because if their receptionist and “consultant” are any indication of the type of people that work there, it must be a miserable work environment.I wish I would have looked at their reviews before I wasted my time trying to apply, then being subjected to such an aberrant level of contemptuous people that I’m forced to question how the heck they’re still in business. My experience with them in just a few short minutes tells me that regardless of wether you’re an individual or a business avoid LK Jordan at all cost.

Of all the complaints Ive seen on here about Karen. Why is she still working there? It must be that the company as a whole supports and condones the abuse she does to applicants and the unprofessional manor I witch she cunducts herself on LK Jordans behalf. They should keep in mind that the temp workers are where agencies get their money. The recruiters, managers and office staff are where they spend it. Youd think it was the other way around the way they treat the people who pay their bills like an animal.

I should have read the reviews before going to LK Jordan. There definitely is a lack of communication at this company, and they lure you in by posting jobs all over job sites like indeed and etc. to get you to go to them for an “interview”.I came across LK Jordan on indeed not really understanding what exactly they did ( I didn’t know they were a temp agency until I went in). I went in for an “interview” which wasn’t really an interview, and did a lot of paper work, and then waited about an hour to be seen and right before I was about to be seen, someone walked in and said they absolutely needed to speak to Karen and she saw them before me. When I finally spoke to Karen we just talked about my career goals, so it wasn’t really an “interview”.I then got a call on a Friday with an “assignment”, Karen told me to go down to the place and dress nice but didn’t tell me when to go, so since I have never gone through a temp agency before I assumed I had to go meet with the company first to have an interview with them whenever I was available before proceeding. So Monday morning I get up and I have two missed calls, a text message and my sister had received a missed call as well. I called Karen back and she was quite rude to me. She asked me what happened and I told her I was having car issues but I was getting them fixed. She then got snappy with me and said “you didn’t think to call” at that moment I was confused, because I had assumed that I was just going to meet the company so I wasn’t sure why I needed to call if I was just meeting with them. She then proceeded to talk to me like I was a child and lecture me about how I was supposed to call an emergency number, again it was my first time using a temp agency so I wasn’t sure how they were structured and was never given any explanation as of to how they are structured either, meaning I did not know I was supposed to work that Monday morning for the company. I was polite with her and told her I understood that they had to send someone else and she rudely said bye and I haven’t heard from her or the company since. Even if they have “terminated” me I should have been informed of that.Going through this company is a waste of time. I am a recent college graduate who has never gone through a temp agency and was just looking for a job to get into the workforce. I have never witness such unprofessionalism. I should have looked at the reviews before going for my “interview”. Again, this has been a waste of time. Don’t go to LK Jordan.

Was told that I was hired for a position and was waiting on a call to give me my start date and the job location but never got that call. I called texted and emailed my interview and never got a answer or response.

No stars even though it forces you to, this place is completely unprofessional, they waste your time. When making an appointment, you are expected to sit in a nice waiting room for over an hour before being seen by someone, even though you have made an appointment, whereas if you just walk in, you are seen.The staff treats you rudely and does not respect your time, and even though they try to represent themselves as a free service, they in fact, take a portion of your first few paychecks until you are hired on permanently.This company has consistently lost information and continues to make excuses and not help people.

All these reviews are exactly what Ive experienced and I thought it was just me that felt neglected. Ive had 21 years of Administrative Assistant skills and to be tested is pathetic. Im sorry some of the staff didnt seem happy working there. Looks like this temp agency needs a facelift. Very uncaring not to reply to my emails or calls.

Did not receive W2 because of change of address. Called and emailed and called and emailed tons of times... Never got response. Or got transferred to lines that never respond. Very unhelpful and doesnt seem exist when you need them.Do not use them unless you want troubles.

I spoke with Gina Tyler and she was very short with me. Rude to be honest, she even said I filled out information in 2014 and did not show up for prior jobs which was uncalled for and untrue since I was on bedrest and just given birth to twins. I will never go to this agency and recommend you to go elsewhere.

They have payroll issues and you might not get paid on time. They make sure you dont get yoir referral bonus. Terrible companu to work for. Staff is a joke.

I have a scheduled interview for 1:30 its now 2:45 still no one has come ro meet me. Im walking out. Very unprofessional, & disrespectful of other peoples time. I would rate them a 0 but you cant. Thats why they are getting rated a 1.....

I should have the reviews ahead, before I went there, I got fired from a job I was sent to, was not aware that I had to beg for another job so I was declined from benefits, they did not have any else where to put me so I was considered not within company policy, what a bunch of low lifes, just there to make a qouta, at least their working, ...had to vent.
