Called Gilbert for an appointment, said he couldnt get me and my son in. ☹️ Not surprised. He called me back personally and said come on in if I could get there quickly, I happen to live 5 min away made it there in 7, took both of us in! We both got haircuts. We were both out in 35!😱. Gilbert was both fast, friendly, and efficient!!! I recommend him and his barbers, very highly! His personal touch, by calling me back, is commendable! Keep up the good work Gil! My 6 yr old even walked out with a lolly pop! Nice touch! 😎😎😎

Haven’t been here in years since I moved out of Corpus as a teen...I’m 25 now. I got curious tonight to see if it was still open and I’m glad they’re still rolling. The best barbers came through this shop and the best memories were made here as a kid...especially when I walked in and Gilbert deemed it “Free double edge up day” one time. A staple in the city for sure. If you’re looking for a shop and you’re reading this be sure to go to Gilberts.

They treat their customers like Rock stars! Seriously got my hair shampooed and cut. Gilbert complemented me on my hairstyle and frame. Great conversation while I was getting my hair cut. Everyone was courteous and it was just an all around great experience.

Wonderful barber! Both of my boys loved their cut. The attention to detail was amazing! We stay out of town but worth the drive.
