I ordered online to pick up in store and while I was there, the sales person attempted to sell me everything under the sun even after I made it clear that I didnt want any additional products/services. Ive also never had so many outages with an internet provider. I dont recommend

This rating is mostly for Spectrum itself, and only in part for the Coronado office. My visits to this office on other occasions and for other purposes have been a good experience. But my visit last October deserves this one star rating. Primarily because the Spectrum TV Choice program is a SCAM. I researched the options regarding minimal streaming TV services and the Spectrum TV Choice program of 10 cable channels plus local stations for $24.99 (the two year introductory offer) seemed best. When I signed up for it in October I specifically asked the customer service person is there any other cost beyond the $24.99? The reply was no, thats it. So it was a surprise when I looked at my first bill and saw under Other Charges the line Broadcast TV Surcharge.....8.95. I called the number on the bill and explained that I felt deceived by the $8.95 charge since it is not noted in the website promotional information and was not mentioned by the office customer service person. The billing customer service person, who was very pleasant in following the script, said that it was a passthrough charge that Spectrum had to pay to the local stations. I responded that if Spectrum is required to pay it as a cost of doing business then it should be included in the advertised monthly cost. The billing customer service person stuck to the script and would not delete the $8.95 charge. It should be noted that there are mentions of Spectrums Broadcast TV Surcharge on some websites that focus on TV services. All Ive read so far indicate that the surcharge stays with Spectrum and is not passed through to local channels. It appears that Spectrums TV Choice program is deliberately deceptive and a corporate SCAM.

I went in to change my personal phone to a business phone but was told, We dont do that here. They gave me a number to call which wasnt the correct one. Not helpful, not to mention the location, why are they there?

When the storefront is open and you talk to an actual person I like Spectrum. People are nice and helpful but not informed. Ive asked the storefront about a multi-day outage. They were not aware. The hours and the website and people you call said the storefront was open. It was not. And so on, horrible communication enterprise wide but individuals are very help if the are informed which, unfortunately, is the exception.

When there is the slightest bit of bad weather in Coronado this place goes haywire wifi stops working because its a bit windy. So many shut downs over minor problems. Half the time I cant even get my wifi to work.

Its unfair that they send you offers but when you ask about them they sneak in extra feed and it ends up costing more. Its ridiculous. Especially for service that is subpar at best.

This is a good cable & internet service!! And this is a good spot to come in for any help its never packed usually never a wait time and the employees are relaxed and very helpful! Jessica helped me out today so professional and helpful very happy with the over all experience not to mention the product is great !! Plus now they are having mobile !!so need to check that out Id its the same great service

I ordered a sim card over the phone. I was told that I will receive it in 2-3 days. I didn’t receive anything after 3 days. I called them back. So they told me that they didn’t issue any SIM card for me and didn’t send me anything. However, I was already charged for the service. They told me that I can go to any store and pick up the Sim Card. I drove 20 mins to get the card. When I came to the store, the lady told me that she can’t provide any sim card to me because I ordered it online...so I have to receive it by mail. I had to be 3-4 days without any connection.. I couldn’t wait, I activated my old carrier because I can’t do anything without mobile connection. Today, after 5 or 6 days I finally received the sim card. After being another 20 mins over the phone I was told that I cannot activate the sim card next month. I have to do it in 7days, even if I dont do it, I will be charged for the service monthly. I decided to cancel it, and they didn’t refund me fully. They charged me $10 dollars for processing fee... I don’t understand, why I have to pay $10 dollars when it was their fault, and they cause inconvenience, headache and emotional stress! I also do have home Internet from Spectrum, which doesn’t even work in other rooms. I guess it was bad idea from the beginning to order the service. BAD Customer Service, slow delivery, and unfair management! And Internet is slow as well!

Why the f... Im paying so much when you cant provide the service Im paying for...? Get it right or Ill find better service, even if its with your internet provider...sad to say theres good service involved...but why am I stressing to watch right now. Pick it up or Ill see what at&t has to offer. Smh

Every single day the internet they provide goes down. And every single time I call customer support apparently its my fault somehow. Would not recommend for fear of dropping out during important meetings online.

Went to take my modem back to the location in Coronado. The lady was nice enough, but obviously didnt know what she was doing. She scanned my modem, then proceeded to tell me that it wasnt theres. I only have one modem in the house, and it came from Time Warner *boggle*She wrote down the serial number of the modem that I was supposed to have according to their records. I took the paper, and left, pretty mad.It wasnt until I got home that I read the paper and the serial number on the modem I tried to return....THEY WHERE THE SAME!*sigh* Now I have to take another trip over to these guys...poor customer service indeed!

Ive actually had very good service with this office. The problem is when you have to deal w/ TWCs central office. Heres what happened. We had so much trouble with the TWC TV that I cancelled. The following month charges kept appearing for the TV in spite of fact that TWC guy had come to disconnect TV and collect DVR, remote etc. Called TWC. Took 2 l-o-n-g calls without correction until I finally got to a Supervisor, who handled the matter efficiently. So 5 stars for the local office, 1 star for the central office = 3 stars.
