I reached out to Focus for a mold inspection on a home I was buying. Im so glad that I did that. It turned out that the home had the sprinklers spraying at the stucco for years before anyone noticed. The red flags were pointed out during our tradition home inspection. The question was whether there was a slab leak or a pin hole leak in the wall. Well, it turned out to be neither. After Focus used some specialized equipment and took air samples in the walls, it was determined that the entire wall behind the kitchen, dining room and bathroom was filled with black mold. Ultimately, I did not purchase the home but I did share the report with the seller. In the end, the owner had to replace the entire kitchen, the bathroom, all the drywall for 50 feet and all the insulation. Focus saved me over $40,000! I will use Focus to inspect any house I buy in the future.
