Very Unethical, Arrogant, Reckless and Unprofessional! I give every opportunity for the company to make this right! I cant give 0 stars so 1 will have to do! Realtor Becca Mangini, employed by Keller Williams of Cornelius, negotiated terms for the Seller (her brother) with us on 12-23-18 and both parties agreed to the Sellers terms and conditions. Our agent Mechelle Kuld, TMR Realty congratulated us on the accepted contract and got the documents over for us to sign after church. My wife signed and sent them back to her and they were forwarded to the above mentioned broker for the seller to sign. This was all on the heels of a previous offer that was offered and the seller not accepting based on the time for closing. They countered with $1000 due diligence and $1000 interest later that day and was in agreeance on a possible 45-60 day close. We never heard anything back Sunday night and on Monday we were told that Mrs. Mangini was shopping and her brother traveling but would get docs signed. No conversation on Wednesday but Thursday at approximately 11am Mrs. Mangini sent a text stating that she went to bed early on the 23rd and hadnt checked her email for 16hrs. When she did she saw another offer and the seller was presented with it although she knew that our verbal agreement was in writing in her email the night before. She said he accepted the new offer on Monday but didnt let us know until my agent reached out to her on the 26th what had transpired. She said she didnt want to ruin our Christmas knowing our house was under contract and we were under the impression we had a deal! We tried calling her and her Broker in Charge most of the day. Mrs. Mangini stated in texts that she was going through a personal crisis and had been preoccupied crying over that period. Her BIC stated it wasnt handled right but ultimately stated that the seller could choose another offer even though her ethics and motives were called into question. We sold furniture and even had her send us septic permits for our pool placement. She also told us the seller was giving us his inspection report since our offer was accepted. We are now devastated because we have no house that suits our needs and will be closing on ours soon. Twice during this situation Mrs. Mangini dangled offers and demands that we succomed to only to have the goal line moved again. We feel she has been very unethical at best. Her actions show a definite conflict of interest and moral values. I spoke with her on 12-26 at 4pm and she told me that she had her brother to sign the contract on Dec 25th for the new offer 2 days after she held on to our written and signed contract by my wife. She stated that she shouldve communicated better. I advised her I was contacting the Real Estate Commission, BBB and looking at the legality of her actions! We also found some unethical practices including 2 specific occasions at aa former realty company. We also spoke with lender(s) who were familiar with the name in a negative manner.
