I went to Mike for updating my rings setting. I had this gorgeous diamond on a solitaire setting and wanted to update it to a halo just to accentuate it a bit. I had visited the famous stores prior to him and let me tell you that the service he offers and the price is a whole another level! So, I highly recommend that you consider this local jewelry instead of those famous stores. It is so obvious that he works for his passion and not money. He listens to what you need and what you wanna do and makes the perfect piece out of your idea at an extremely fair price. He is very friendly, organized, and way faster than you expect. He changed the head of my ring to a halo head just in 2 days and it is unbelievably pretty now and stands out!Thank you Mike for turning my engagement ring into my dream ring!

Mike is absolutely amazing and a true professional who treats his practice as an art. I came to Mike with just a couple ideas of what I was looking for in regards to an engagement ring for my fiance. With basically zero knowledge in rings, diamonds, etc. he guided me through everything I should consider and was a straight shooter the entire way. After several appointments, I was able to pick out everything with his help and suggestions. It truly felt like a private and personal experience versus going to a chain and simply picking from a window. What an amazing experience! I started at a very well known chain jewelry store to have my wedding ring setting re-done. Not only did they sit on my ring for several weeks without doing any work, they also had a much higher price. I then took my ring to Your Personal Jeweler and met Mike and his lovely wife. What a great team. He had a vision right from the start of what I was asking design wise. With nothing more than a sketch on a piece of paper he turned my wedding ring into something so exquisite and stunning I couldnt believe it. It was beautiful. He had the ring completed in a very timely fashion for an exceptional price. I could not be more pleased. I would highly recommend him to anyone. Love this shop. Mike is super sweet and easy to work with. Purchased my Something Blue Galatea pendant necklace for my wedding and was able to pay it off for the big day. Mike was great about a payment plan and I absolutely love this very special piece. Lots of unique pieces and petty designs in this store too! Heading back in this week to look for a nice piece to commemorate the birth of our new baby!

Mike is phenomenal! I am very particular about jewelry. My fiancé and I went to *dozens* of jewelers in multiple countries looking for an engagement ring in similar style to one I found on Pinterest. No one had anything like it, and all but one said they couldnt make it. We looked in multiple countries. Nothing. A reverse Google image search - nothing. Nothing. We looked for 18 months.The one jeweler that said they could make it was Perrys in South Charlotte. We both wasted a half day going there to initiate the process, go over the design, pick out the center diamond, etc. They never called us back. We reached out SIX additional times.Finally, we scheduled with Mike. Thank God! We came in, showed him the picture, and asked if he could help us.Not only did he say he could have it made, he said he was sure hed seen the ring before. We explained that Google couldnt find it, so it was almost certainly a custom ring.Five minutes later, he found the ring, which hed seen at a show *years* before. Mike saved us THOUSANDS of dollars, and he was an absolute joy to work with!He is our jeweler now, for any and all gifts, treats, and needs!10/10, highly recommend!

I cant begin to express how happy I am with the work Mike did on my platinum wedding ring. He was wonderful to work with and gave me all options up-front. He then did a fabulous job at a very reasonable rate. Other large jewelry stores wouldnt touch my ring and told me there wasnt a way to fix the problem and Mike did it in 3 days. If I could give it 10 stars I would! I went from one jeweler to another not finding anything I wanted or within my price range until my sister mentioned Your Personal Jeweler. Thank goodness for her recommendation. They set my original engagement diamond and two diamond earrings into a setting that is PERFECT and for 1/2 the price other jewelers wanted to charge (for something not as nice!). Such great customer service, they go a step beyond what the customer expects and do it with a smile. I wont go anywhere else...they are now my personal jeweler!

This is Mike. In response to Jesses review. I strive to provide 5 star service with every customer. It seems there was a misunderstanding in our conversation. The customer came into our store looking for an appraisal for her ring and my understanding was she wanted to sell the ring. The diamond she wanted to sell had an flaw in it and I was not interested in buying it. I suggested maybe she try some other stores to see if they were interested in PURCHASING the ring. I recommended NOT to spend the $55.00 on an appraisal since most stores would prefer to do their OWN ASSESSMENT. I was trying to save her $55.00. I made the comment Dont be surprised if they only OFFER you $500.00 for the ring Trying to warn her that would be a LOW offer. Again trying to help. I am sorry if my actions were misinterpreted but they are and always will be in the best interest of the customers.

Very nice guy, and excellent service! This was my first time looking for a ring, and didnt feel like he was selling me at all...just trying to help me find the right fit. I strongly recommend him to ANYONE! He even took the time to tell me about rings, metals, diamonds, etc.

I could not say more about the Owner at Your Personal Jeweler. Mike went out of his way to help me find a replacement for my ring without any promise that I would actually purchase the new diamond or mounting from him. He spent a lot of time helping me determine the best way to go. His workmanship and experience was excellent. I particularly value that all of his work is done in house. I would highly recomment him.

I go there for everything! Mike has fixed bands on rings that have broken, repaired necklace chains, and replaced watch batteries. They are quick at repairs, and the work is phenomenal. I highly recommend them!

I tried another jeweler twice prior getting my repair here (I will advise to go on their website to make an appointment prior to arriving). They fixed my ring in 48 hours and it was above and beyond what I expected. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of a repair!
