Was visiting my daughter on Easter weekend and my car broke down. Brought it to Murrays at 9 on Monday he had me out on the road by 12.

Murray and his shop are phenomenal, my family and I have been going to him for 10+ years and they have always done a thorough job. His prices are usually more reasonable than other independent shops and has never let us down with a repair. We trust him explicitly and would definitely recommend using his services!

Quick and reliable. They will also help you figure out whats a priority when youre on a budget. Im going back but the gentleman let me know what needed to be done ASAP and what could wait another week. Other mechanics will push you to do more and make you feel uncomfortable.

I used Murrays because my good friend said that she and her husband used them and they were great. She stated that they where reasonable and they had never had a problem. So, going by her word I called. I took my car to have a major issue fixed and was quoted the price. I was shocked because of how high it was. I needed the work done because it was my only mode of transportation. I thought the issue was fixed and later realized when I turned the air on all I got was heat. Both the air and heat worked before I took my car to them. I called and called. I left messages and I finally called and was told to bring it back in. The young guy told me he was sorry he didnt hook up the air back up. No problem so I thought. So it gets cool and I turned the heat in and only got air. I called and was told to bring it back. I called and to see when I could bring it and asked if it would cost me anything and was told yes another $90.00 . I already paid $555. and change.Check engine light code says it is engine coolant over temperature well the radiator was what I had replaced. This is my expereince. I wish anyone else the best but I want use them again.

Quotes a price, promises turn around time of two days. 8 days later, no extra parts than what was quoted and bill doubled to what was quoted.Will never return.Napa recommended them, come to find out he’s close friends with the front desk.I recommend going to ALS or AAA garage.Not loyal, and will price gouge you.

MURRAYS AUTO WORKS HAS BEEN MY FAMILIES GO TO SHOP FOR YEARS. EVER SINCE I WAS A KID. THEIR FRIENDLY TECHNICIANS AND GRAHAM HIMSELF ARE SO AWESOME AND ACCOMMODATING, IT IS NO WONDER WE HAVE TRUSTED THEM FOR SO MANY YEARS. I AM GETTING AN ENGINE PUT IN MY CAR AND FOUND A RE-MANUFACTURING FACILITY ONLINE AND WAS ABLE TO PURCHASE IT ANS SEND IT TO THE SHOP AT NO COST TO ME. HANDLING THE CORE CHARGE AND MAKING SURE HE DIDNT JUST THROW THE ENGINE IN, BUT TOOK THE TIME TO LOOK IT OVER AND REPLACE ENGINE MOUNTS AND HOSES AND AND ALL THE LITTLE THINGS TO MAKE SURE IT WAS DONE RIGHT AND THERE WOULD BE NO ISSUE WITH THE THIRD PARTIES PARTS. MORE SHOPS NEED TO OPERATE THIS WAY. YOUR BEST MONEY SPENT WILL BE WITH MURRAYS AUTO WORKS NO DOUBT.

I really appreciate their honest way of doing business. It is a rare trait to find these days.I have taken two vehicles to this shop and have yet to have Murreys work on them.The first was a 67 muscle car that they diagnosed with no compression in an intake valve, which will cost me thousands to fix some day but they charged me shop minimum to deliver the bad news.The second was a 2000 dodge truck with rear-end problems. They diagnosed the problem and after researching on my behalf determined it would be cheaper for me to have the dealer do the repairs rather than they. They put the rear-end back together, charged me ZERO dollars and allowed me to have the truck towed away to the dealer where my enema began... $1300 later it drives exactly the same as before but with less noise. A louder stereo would have been cheaper, but, I digress... These guys are honest and trustworthy. We all need a Doctor, Lawyer and Mechanic in the family but until then, we trust reviews...

Best place to get an honest answer about getting your vehicle fixed and they only charge you for what really needs done, they dont and wont take advantage of anyone, thats not the way they do business. Ive been in the industry for 35+yrs and this is the only place I will allow my family and friends to take their vehicles to be fixed.

He is one of the few mechanics I trust. He is both honest and competent. He notices things, and will recommend needed repairs you might not have known about, but never exaggerates danger or tries to sell you things you dont need. His labor rates are not the very lowest around, but they are reasonable. I would rather pay more in the short term here than lose money in the long run paying a lower rate. Most recently, he replaced my ball joints. I have also hired him to do brakes and work on the exhaust. I would gladly use this shop again.

Car tranny went out on weekend trip - a long way from home. they werent open at the time - so called Monday to explain the situation. Graham was extremely accommodating - check out car & diagnosed for nominal cost, allowed it to stay there for far longer than i hoped while i arranged to tow it back home to tranny shop that had fixed it the prior time a few years earlier. Very friendly & honest, upfront with my options regarding fixing the car.

When I was in my teens I was a victim of sheisty mechanics and shotty work. Since then I followed a motto, if you want something done right, then do it yourself. Ive been working on my cars since then. Unfortunetly Im not a car guru, I dont have specialty tools and I dont have time to fix every car. So where do I go from there? Finding a reputable, honest, and fair priced shop. Murrays Auto Works is definietly one of them. Ive had my mothers BMW X5 and my grandmothers Mazda Tribute repaired there and havent had to go back for the same issue. Overall their knowledge and courtesy instills confidence and yields quality work. Ive recommend this shop to others and hope you try them too!
