I’ve been a member for years and have always had good experience, the gym is always clean and equipment is well maintained. What makes a good gym a great gym is the staff. Here is a picture of two of the employees putting fresh paint on the curbs. Excellent job ladies

This gym is amazing!!! There is so much gym equipment at top quality. More people are likely to come at peak hour & I always see staff picking up weights nonstop and cleaning. This gym is the cleanest gym in South Florida yet! Staff and customer service is top notch! & super friendly! I recommend this gym over any, no doubt. ❤️#powerlifterfriendly

Have gym memberships for many years. Was a certified instructor. These owners defy logic. They are rude and disrespectful. Communication is the first rule of good business relations. My advice to them is to hire a management consulting firm. They are clueless. The customer is at risk in such a culture. Beware.

I have been a member to Athletica for a couple years now. I made a decision to leave the gym because how busy it gets and the Covid situation. I am upset how the cancelation went. I canceled on the same day they were renewing my yearly membership. The issue is they are charging me a maintenance fee of $40 for the following year that I am not going to be there. I was told I was a day late and they could not waive the fee. I asked if I could speak to someone in corporate and they said they were a family owned business and there was no one else to speak to. Very disappointed in their policies.

Great overall experience. This is the first gym I’ve been too that has everything I need from free weights to the sauna. Plus it’s 24 hours!!! Great place overall!!!

Overall experience coming from a powerlifter, this gym is awful, every machine is packed and occupied and theres is almost only 1 of a machine here, where you’ll find multiple of the same machine in other gyms. There are weights everywhere and miss placed, barbell collars can never be found. Bars are horrible. The staff negatively miss charge my card multiple times. Gym is over populated and overrated. Other gyms such as University Fitness a few miles south is 10/10 and recommend, go here if you choose but you will experience the horrible service this gym has to offer. And this is coming from a experienced lifter.

Love this gym, payments are easy! never had an issue, worth every penny for all the amenities included. Just make your payments on time thats it, they don’t have any crazy fees and it’s definitely so simple to cancel without any hassle. However, I am back because I missed my home gym!

I got to workout today with the trainer here at Athletica named Monica Vera. She is for sure an amazing and excellent trainer. She is super knowledgeable and makes you feel like you are learning something. She holds you accountable to giving it your all while making the exercises fun and creative! I highly recommend training with Monica you will definitely see results!

I moved to Broward within the last couple of months and was looking for a gym. Hands down one of the best gyms i’ve been to. Staff are friendly, area is constantly being cleaned by the staff, and overall a really nice place! Couldn’t be happier with my experience at Athletica!

Definitely the best gym I’ve ever been a member at! They have many things going on that make it feel more than just a regular gym. They offer massages, special discounts for “Barbershop Near Me”, and occasionally have fun raffles and giveaways for all members! 💪

There is an unauthorized charge from this gym on my CC. I am a member of the UHC Renew Active Program which gives me a membership to thisgym. I have not been there in over a year, so I was surprised to see a CC charge. The real problem is that I cannot reach anyone at the two numbers I found on line. Voicemail is full. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Makes me questions the integrity of this gym. Now I have to drive over there and deal with them in person. Next option is a dispute with my CC company.

Best gym in broward. Very clean and well kept. Has multiple services within the gym such as barbershop, daycare, massages, facials etc. 24 hours gym access!

This gym is great and is open 24/7. I love that even through holidays they are always open.

Been a member of this gym for a while now and the main reason I joined is the same reason I’ve stayed here is due to the fact it’s great. John is great and takes great pride in his job keeping the place in tip top shape. Not to mention the rest of the staff are great as well I have no complaints and will always be a member of Athletica as long as it continues being the way it has been which is GREAT!! Came as a visitor was a nice clean gym great staff friendly atmosphere the maintenance man Jonathan keeps the place very clean especially the sauna and steam room. A lot of amenities that are available while other gyms are unavailable.. I’m a member now no longer a guest management is great especially Daliz. She’s very helpful and super nice. Great place

Always smiling faces from Daliz and Angie when you walk in. The cleanliness of the equipment, locker room, pool, sauna, etc. is extremely impressive. You can feel the private ownership atmosphere from the way the members are treated. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Friendly, clean, cool spot with equally great members.

Today was my first day trying out this gyn with some friends. I had a wonderful time, its extremely clean, great quality equipment and it was an overall excellent experience. 💪👌

Nice and clean facility with many amenities. The equipment is in good shape too, with many machines and weights to choose from. It does get quite crowded at peak hours.

I went in to sign up for a membership today. I expected it to take a good amount of time, but to my surprise it was incredibly fast. The girl at the front desk was super nice and helped me right away. Excited for my future visits!

Where to start. The gym itself is amazing with everything you could possibly need. The staff are so awesome and friendly. I live like 25 minutes away, but I drive here because its worth it.

Ive been coming to the gym for a couple of months mainly to use the sauna, steam room, and pool. The cleanliness is unremarkable. Johnathan in maintenance is not only the friendliest but you can also see that he takes pride in what he does. Maintaining a safe environment in these challenging times.In regards to what people are saying about areas not being clean-last I check we are ALL ADULTS completely capable of cleaning up after ourselves. Please dont put your inabilities to clean up after yourself as failures to the facility or members of the team.

Very clean, well-kept facility. Top notch in terms of equipment variety—they have just about everything you could imagine. Switching from YouFit to Athletica has been night and day. I’d highly recommend this health club to anyone.

It’s a nice gym I’m not a member this is my second day coming in as a guest the day before the gentlemen working the front desk was very professional great customer service I was charged accordingly and had a great workout. I come to workout the next day and now the young lady is on the phone up stairs yelling down at me the non member the member I was with charges his account for me to visit again to see if I was going to join she went off nasty attitude was very disrespectful and then we finally got to a common ground I explained I was there yesterday and they charged a certain amount and now it’s double so it was charged to the account as we was walking off she said we either go work out or get out after the account was charged. I was planning on joining but doesn’t look like I need the extra issues from the facility not acceptable.

My favorite gym in the margate/coral springs area so far. Has everything you need to get a great workout. Offers kid club, pool, sauna, steam room, classes, personal training, massage therapy plus more. Definitely a great place to take some interest in your health overall.

Just signed up and loving this place. Staff is extremely friendly and family owned which goes a long way in the way you are treated. Better than any other gym in Coral Springs! Not to mention the sauna is WAY nicer and does not feel like your stuffed into a dark closet!

However, today was just the end of my breaking point. I had a problem today, this is the third time that has occured, I am under the Active & Fit program ---

New gym very clean and all that good stuff. Gym was shut down during the pandemic for a good couple of months so when I tried to cancel my membership because the gym was shut down I got no response. No email couldn’t call because there was nobody on sign then they swiped my card for the annual fee even though the gym was closed for more than half the year and wouldn’t give me a refund. Sucks

Gym is awesome with a plenty of equipment for everyone! Appreciate Adam for keeping the place spotless and taking care of us at night!

By far the best gym I’ve been to in broward. All of the staff have been nothing but helpful towards me. Johnathan and adam are both great and management (specifically Daliz) have done a great job maintaining a professional image and following through with integrity. No complaints whatsoever

Class started before listed time, not enough equipment for everyone in class, it was difficult to see the instructor while laying on the mats, no feedback on posture or movements

Nice facility but JEEZ This company keeps charging my bank account after cancelling with them like over a year ago. I just had to report fraud on my credit card a few minutes ago. Athletica management said they would call back in 5 minutes about an hour and a half ago...

2 starts for variety of equipment but cleaning wise... My oh my... Hair, dust, desinfecting wipes all over the floor. Was doing hip thrusts with BB and was disgusted to put my tussie the floor. Had week pass- was ok. Wouldnt buy full membership. Sorry guys!

Everything was good until I cancelled. Now they keep trying to contact my credit card company to get them reinstate my automatic payments even though I submitted their cancellation form. ALSO, they will not let you cancel over the phone, doesn’t matter due to COVID related reasons I couldn’t make it to the gym. Had to a pay for a whole extra month that I didn’t use once. Only care about money here.

Phenomenal gym. I have a gym plan that allows me access to most gyms and this is by far my favorite. The only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is the need for some minor additional improvements. For example, their hydromassage equipment needs updating and the gym tends to be more crowded than I would prefer. That said, youd be hard pressed to find a better gym.

Great place solid working out machines compare to the old 24Fitness, but I haven’t been to the gym since the covid19 back in February. I want to come back in November, but I would like to know when is the gym going back to 24 hours schedule. I usually worked out late at night.
