My experience with Jae’s has been unbelievable. I brought in my grandmother’s heirloom ring to be redesigned. Jill helped me through it all. She showed me all the possibilities for the jewels that could be re-purposed. The vision she was able to create for the necklace was transformative. The jewelers who worked on the piece made an exquisite cross that I can wear and think of my grandmother each time I wear it. It feels like it was always meant to be a necklace. My boyfriend went into Jae’s to buy me a birthday present. I am a little bit picky to shop for in terms of jewelry because my mom owns a women’s clothing and jewelry boutique. My boyfriend knows I’m also allergic to sterling silver and even the nickel free earrings give me issues most times! Gold earrings are the only ones that work for me, but due to cost it’s not typical I can get my hands on a pair! My boyfriend worked with Andrea and Jill on finding the perfect pair of gold ball earrings for me. They were patient, helpful and super friendly. Not even two weeks later and one of the earring backs fell out of my ear (accidents happen!) and they were able to replace the back for me with no issues, questions asked or anything of that nature. Amazing customer service and great quality pieces. We will 1000% be back!!❤️

Per the recommendation of my neighbor, I came to Jaes to see if I could have the diamond from a necklace set in a ring instead. I wasnt sure where to go but they came highly recommended, and I am glad I stopped by. Amazing doesnt cover it! Jill was BEYOND fantastic to work with! I had a bunch of my mom and grandmothers old jewelry that I wanted to reset and some of my own stuff that I wanted to sell and Jill took care of me. She worked with me to design the PERFECT sapphire and diamond ring, resetting sentimental stones in a custom piece that I love and wear daily. This is the oldest jewelry store on Miracle Mile and still family owned. It harkens to days gone by where local businesses knew their customers and valued you. They have high end jewelry as well as something for those shopping within budget. You are treated with respect regardless of how much you are spending. They have qualified jewelers who perform repairs on premises in the back. Staff are knowledgeable and courteous always. I wish there were more businesses like this around.

If you live in south Florida, you know how frustrating it can be to find quality work, or for someone to simply follow up and call you back. I researched as much as I could for a custom engagement ring. I searched as far as Fort Lauderdale, to west Kendal. If I traveled, I’d inquire in different states. By chance I found 3 jewelers on miracle mile and decided to again inquire about a custom ring I had found. Like most jewelers I had visited, they wanted my business, but either did not follow through, or just could not locate the specific stones I was looking for. Making the cast itself I imagine was also difficult. I admit what I was asking was a challenge. But I gave myself enough time, and knew at some point I’d find someone, hopefully.Finally, I met with Andrea and Jill October 8, 2020. I explained and showed them what I was looking for. I mentioned I would be proposing mid December. They assured they would have it done at the end of November and were very discrete, so my plans were not foiled. After our first meeting, Andrea and Jill said they’d reach out in 2-3 days with what I was looking for. I still wasn’t sure what to expect, since in Miami 2-3 days usually means whenever they get around to it if they remember. So I kept looking. But sure enough, 3 days later they sent photos of the salt and pepper diamonds I was looking for and had them mailed from NY so I could choose the diamond. 4 days later, The diamonds arrived and I came in to view 11 diamonds. I had contacted a dozen jewelers at this point, and only one of them had me view 2 that were nowhere even close to what I was asking. And they had 11 of them. I picked the diamond, and it was sent back to be cut, and returned to Jae’s. November 13th, I received a message that the ring was done! Almost 2 weeks earlier than estimated. At this point I’m in shock but still skeptical. There’s no way they made this from scratch, and finished this early. Forgetting that the ring was priced at what I was looking for, I would have paid double just for the customer service and constant follow up. There’s a million things running through a mans head when preparing to propose. Time, place, lighting, placing, budget, look, feel, what to say, what to do, plan B, plan C, scrapping the plan and waiting until next year, etc. but the most important piece being done, on time, and coming out like I asked, was pure ecstasy. And I am a very difficult person to please.There are very professional jewelers out there, and they have amazing works of art. But I wanted something rare, special, and with a story, and they delivered. I know a 5 out of 5, or 10 out of 10 doesn’t exist. But the level of confidence, resource, and dependability made this process effortless.I hope this helps, good luck gents.PS. Outstanding, i’ve lived in 4 countries and many major cities but this is the first time I found such excellent, honest and genuine customer service . Came with a friend on the hunt for perfect Birthday gift and was impressed so came back for Jewelery repair and watch battery changes. Having been ripped off a few years ago and charged $35 per battery and one week turn around time I had been hesitant to tackle this task again!! However Jae’s did all 3 watched in under 10 mins while I waited and total was $40 amazing !

My rosary was broken. Could they fix it? Two women at the counter told me they thought so. They took it to the jeweler in the back, who did the repair on the spot. Five minutes later, voila. What do I owe you? They said it was a minor repair, there was no charge. Please, expect to pay a fair price for their goods and services, but know that theyre helpful and gracious.

I was recommended to Jaes Jewelers by a friend and I will recommend them to anyone in need of a jeweler.I lost a trillion in my engagement ring and was devastated. This was not a small stone! I spoke with Jill Hornik in advance and she had me send her my original appraisal so that she could start searching for not 1 but 2 stones, since they had to be a set or it would not look symmetrical or cohesive and that is how insurance companies process side stone claims, which State Farm also told me. That was the Wednesday, November 27th, before Thanksgiving. The Friday after Thanksgiving, the 29th, she had 2 sets of stones to show me, I came in with my ring along with a few other pieces and selected a set. The following Monday she and her dad, Bruce Hornik, were already working with my insurance company to get the claim for both stones approved. Bruce followed up with the insurance company and the claim was approved quickly, sure to Bruces diligence, by Thursday, December 12th and Bruce called to say since he knew how much the ring mean to me he would have his goldsmith start working on it immediately, and Friday afternoon Bruce called me to tell me it was ready for pick up. IT LOOKED INCREDIBLE!!! The stones sat perfectly and they re-built and improved the setting prongs in the hope that this wouldnt happen again. It was really kind of Bruce to be aware of how unhappy I was to be without the ring and turn out the repair, along with an additional necklace that I brought in.Again, the ring looks amazing. Not sure the side stones looks this good before LOL.Unbelievably please, extremely diligent and professional and completely kind. I wont go anywhere else but Jaes Jewelers in Coral Gables ever again!!!

I went to Jaes Jewelers over a year ago for a simple cleaning of my Tag Heuer. This watch has very sentimental value to me. It was a deep cleaning ($200), but still took over a month to return to me, which is ok, I guess. The bigger issue is that they returned the watch to me missing a vital piece that keeps the water out. It was a surprise to me when I took a shower and there was moisture inside he watch. The shop employee contacted me after the fact to advise me of the problem but the damage was done. I attempted several times to have them repair the damage and they said they did all they could do. After they did an inspection of the watch (which took another month) they returned it to me and said sorry. No compensation, no refund, no help, just bye. This was by far the worst customer service and repair I have ever experienced. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. They are cheap and seemingly into a quick buck.
