Pains me to have to write this about a business but Lifetime has been such a let down.Lets start with the pricing. At $219 a month and then $90 dollars for a kid, its definitely the most expensive option with not much more to offer than competing gyms considering you still have to pay for the best classes they have anyways.Second, they made an offer to founding members and kept pushing the opening date back month after month since Early 2021 finally opening in August 2021.The parking situation for new construction is also abysmal. Its located right in US1 on a super busy intersection and despite new construction they still werent able to flush it out although it seems like theyre attempting to since opening.The pool might be a selling point but its mostly in the shade and feels and looks drab for the price of the membership.Honestly, for these rates youre better off at Equinox or Anatomy.Overall its just another gym, especially considering the cancellation process. Youll be in a couple hundred dollars whether you want to keep your membership or not because theres a notice period just like every other gym despite them telling you its easy to cancel.Skip the drama, pick another spot.*Lifetime, take this as a 3rd notice of my cancellation.**Unfortunately the easiest way to cancel your membership is just to block reoccurring charges from them and to dispute the charges if youre caught in the same predicament.

I cant say enough about the staff. They went above and beyond to make me and my kids feel welcomed. The spa is run by courteous and knowledgeable staff that cater to your every need. I had the most amazing massage by Jimmy. He knew exactly what area to concentrate on based on the intake and a short conversation. He.made sure I was comfortable and kept me informed as to what to expect. The facility is brand new and the equipment is state of the art. No one should hesitate joining or enjoy a spa service or two.

Very impressed! My kids are loving the Kid’s Academy. Their staff is super friendly and it makes it easier to workout when my kids are excited to attend the kids classes. The yoga and cycle classes I have tried so far are challenging and fun. It feels good to get a great workout in a beautiful, clean facility. Exceeded expectations!

Great location and amenities! This club is new but so far so good. Staff is very helpful and friendly, equipment is new and well maintained. The pool is also a nice bonus. Terrific variety of exercise classes/programs. Kids academy is awesome. Something for everyone.

Surprised by the one-star reviews, wonder if its from competing gyms. My partner and I have been excitedly waiting for this gym to open, and have been in love ever since its opened. I havent seen any of the issues other reviews described, which make me think its fake. I cant speak to the residences, but as a gym member everything seems well-maintained and everyone is super friendly. Im satisfied with the price, weve paid the same price for boutique gyms which are just one room basically. The trainers are exceptional. Everything is clean, even the locker room, showers, etc. Better than Equinox even... its a no-brainer.

I think this gym is great and has outstanding amenities, however I do think it seems a bit crowded due to the layout of the facility. Also, with residents of the building having free access to the gym, it can definitely get more crowded than a usual gym. Also would like to see some self defense classes, like boxing/kick boxing. Overall, pretty solid gym for the price!

A place like this was very much needed in Miami. It has everything you need in one place, amazing gym and classes as well as cafe, pool and kids place with classes for the whole family. Also it has a recovery area as well as steam room, sauna and jacuzzi. The facilities are beautiful, the staff is very welcoming and my kids are happy.Overall 5 stars

Not sure how this place is receiving 1-star reviews?! I would choose this gym/resort over any other in the area. Price is high but you also have so many amenities and offerings it ends up being a good value. Staff is always friendly and going out of their way to ensure my visit is great.

Beautiful building with amazing amenities and a friendly staff. With that said, I’m seeing that the place is starting to get very full very fast. Hopefully they have a cap to how many people can join because it’s getting harder to find a free machine. For example they have 10 beautiful squat rack stations, but they are almost always full, especially when the trainers are having one of their classesAnd in typical Miami fashion people are already leaving towels on the floors in the Lockeroom, not wiping down equipment, using several machine concurrently, etc etc…but that’s more a Miami thing than it is lifetime..they can’t change the animals we are.Again, nice staff, really great gym but there are early signs of it getting very crowded and a bit messy

This gym is amazing! I love the ambience, staff members, classes just everything about this place. They make you feel so good. I’m glad to have Lifetime fitness in Coral Gables!

Life Time fitness is incredible! I have been looking for a place to exercise and get back into a healthy routine for a while and I am so glad I found Life Time! It is unlike any other gym I have ever been to! What initially attracted me was the small group classes that are part of their signature membership. The sense of community is what gets me to keep working out and they have exceeded my expectations! Every one of the trainers cares that I do the exercises correctly and are aware I have an injured shoulder and help me to adapt the exercises for my greatest benefit. I went from not exercising at all to coming here every day. I am exercising 5-6 days a week and also come for the recovery. They have a recovery component that is included in the signature membership that is amazing! Also, the equipment is state of the art and I can track my heart rate using my Garmin heart rate monitor through their app and it will email me my numbers for that workout so I can track my progress. Big shout out to the training manager, Alejandra, who leads an amazing team and is very dedicated to meeting everyone’s training needs! They offer a ton of classes from yoga to spinning to shred to boxing style cardio classes. They also have an amazing Pilates studio! One of the best advantages is that they have a wonderful kids club where I can take my daughter. This is not one of those places where your kid watches videos while you workout! They have fitness classes for kids too! And the staff is AMAZING and engaging with the kids. Did I mention the two outdoor pools? The eucalyptus steam room? There is way too much to mention and you have to check it out! Ignore the 1 star reviews with no comments…I think it is other gyms that are upset they are losing clients because everyone here is loving it! Being here has truly changed my daily experience of life. I have already lost 10 pounds and shred more than 3% body fat in 3 weeks while having so much fun!

Reading all of the negative comments just confirms that my experience was not unique to me. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! Extremely unprofessional and unorganized staff. One of the most poorly managed facilities I have ever stepped foot in. Don’t fall for this weak attempt at false luxury. Your better off at the nearby Equinox if you are looking for an establishment that MATCHES IT’S PRICE.

Such an amazing add to Coral Gables. The staff treats you like family and the facilities are top notch. Such a beautiful place to pursue a healthy routine, and a phenomenal community to be a part of!

Life Time is hands down the best athletic club I’ve ever been to. The staff is so attentive, the facility is spotless, and the atmosphere is so welcoming. They have everything you could ever want or need. It’s the perfect place for health-minded people!

Very bad first experience. Stephanie at the front desk who is supposed to be greeting with a friendly smile was very short and had attitude as if she was annoyed. Not only that, I got my hair done by Natalia. Not even 2 hours later my hair was burnt and had a weird scent to it. She wasnt as talkative either. Not how I wanted it cut.Definitely not worth the price for the experience! Overall will never be going back to this place.. there were a few other girls that were very helpful and friendly.

Okay nice wannabe luxury place that is trying to hard. Dont be fooled by all the new ammenties.management is lost on how to handle everyday problems. The chiropractic office that they said would be open first weeks of August is still MIA Who ever they have there isnt well informed. skip the hype

Place has much more to be desired. Founding member rates are much higher than what was quoted when I asked for prices in July. This place is also causing much more traffic to South Dixie highway. IThink Ill look for another gym.

Lifetime just opened, but so far I’m very happy and excited! I have never been to a gym this big and with so many amenities. The building is in pristine condition, staff has been welcoming and they have anything you could ever need to get a good workout in. The variety of classes is also amazing. Lifetime feels more like a country club than your typical gym. I’m looking forward to using the spa and pool eventually. I took the Alpha class (which is similar to Crossfit) with Lauren. Lauren was so nice always making sure we had the correct form and adjusting to all skill levels in the class. Many other studios like Orange Theory, Crossfit, Barrys and Equinox charge about the same and you don’t get all the incredible extra amenities Lifetime has. My only complaint/recommendation so far was that I mostly joined for the Alpha classes and wish they had one at around 9-10am. 6am for a workout is way too early for me and I work late so the afternoon/evening classes are not an option for me. I’m hoping they add more Alpha classes, but besides that I’m very excited to be a member!Update: Lifetime saw my review and added 9:30am Alpha classes. Thank you!!

This place is great. Beware of reviews that seem suspicious or questionable. Undoubtedly, there are people or businesses that desperately want to tear down the big, shiny, popular new thing. For example, why would a person go all in on an extended lease for their new home, committing to tens of thousands of dollars, likely touring residences, club and community, and then immediately write a review slamming the size, value and the club of the very place they set on as a new home? It makes no sense.There’s a very large staff here, more staff than I’ve ever seen managing an apartment, and no one has been rude. This large, multi-building, multi-business, complex is opening in phases. It’s beautiful and brand new. Some construction is still under way and any outstanding issues are addressed expeditiously.The mailroom has been a little crazy lately. The place is new, it’s popular, a high number of people are taking possession of their new homes, and they’re all ordering online and having things delivered like crazy. The staff and external delivery people have been overwhelmed, but they’re all managing this short-term situation as well as anyone.Cameras are not always discernible, but the ramp is monitored by security and there’s various staff here 24 hours a day. It’s Coral Gables, not the south side of Chicago.Many at the club do not wear a mask when working out but most here are practicing safe distancing and personal sanitization. Besides that, no club adheres to cleaning and sanitization policies better than Lifetime. This new club also has enhanced air filtration that’s helping keep us even safer in this extraordinary workout space.I could go on and on, but as I said before, the place is great.

My wife and I have utilized about ten different Lifetime clubs in three different states over a dozen years. We can’t imagine ever not being a part of Lifetime. Prior to Coral Gables Lifetime, we spent time at the new Biltmore diamond level club in Phoenix, which opened in the spring of ’20. Biltmore is a fabulous club with a wonderful staff and so far I would rate this Coral Gables club just as high, with just as many amenities, great service, and decent club space. Biltmore was the first Diamond club in Phoenix. It was smaller than say North Scottsdale (Onyx), but it was nicer, better appointed, and with better amenities. We preferred it in every way. The same applies to Coral Gables. Price wise, I believe that the Coral Gables club is in line with the area. Our belief in the Lifetime brand is high enough that we became residents, moving from Phoenix, soon after taking part in a virtual tour. We’ve lived at Lifetime Coral Gables since July 1 - before the club opened. It’s been a great experience. Our place has a great view of the ocean, which is a nice change coming from the desert. The staff has been nothing short of incredible. We’ve lived at high end apartments in other cities for the past dozen years. We started to believe that we had to accept certain annoying things as standard when it came to apartment rental -- things like paying for parking for every vehicle, paying for common area utilities, a small bare-bones staff, third party security staff masquerading as concierge, out of date and small fitness centers. Lifetime is redefining apartment management. The staff is plentiful, warm, and responsive. Management reached out several times after we moved in to ask how things were going – a seemingly simple thing yet still such a nice surprise. The day we moved in, the Director of the total community came to our door to introduce himself and welcome us. My wife and I both work from home and having the gym a mere elevator ride away has been so wonderful. Having the option of a more lively club pool or a chill residence pool all within the same community is a great benefit too. We also really like Lifetime’s commitment to progressive high-tech features - keyless entry, smart thermo stats, a motion-controlled faucet, robo vacuums in the hall. We’re definitely excited for the retail that’s planned to open in the community in the coming months. We may never fire up the big SUV except for weekend trips that we take in a new state that we’re anxious to explore. Six weeks after a major 2400 mile cross-country relocation, to a city that we’ve never been to before, to a new complex and a brand new concept from Lifetime that we saw only virtually - would we do it all over again? Yes, in a heartbeat!

Super friendly staff! Very cool place

This gym is not worth it. I have been a diamond member for 15+ years and have been to lifetimes all over the country. This gym is way smaller than all other diamond gyms in the country, barely any amenities, and they are asking for ridiculous prices on top of the diamond membership. Don’t get your hopes up. Disappointed.
