Technicians darling and Kevin were super quick and made my oil change a breeze. Kevin made sure I knew what was being done to my car at all times. First time here. Ive lived in the area for 30 years. Non pressure sales like some other competitors in the neighborhood. I was in and out. My Tech Thomas was so helpful and knowledgeable. I wanted to take him for a drink after my oil change. This is definitely my go to spot from now on ! And I have 3 vehicles. AAA++

The staff both women and men were quick, professional and in an almost military style got the job done. What I also appreciated was that they suggested I may have a pending problem but I could have it serviced there for repair...NOT a fix it now emergency. Very competent and friendly staff.

I can imagine that it’s quick when the place is empty but with a few cars on line the workers seemed overwhelmed and unfocused. Calling out the wrong bays and definitely confused. Mech couldn’t figure out how to replace cabin air filter, I don’t think anyone else there did, so I had to help. Definitely don’t recommend this location, I know it’s hit or miss with these places

Oil change was done quickly.Vavoline caused my check engine, vehicle check and brake fluid light to turn red in my BMW and said “our tool didn’t work” resetting it. It worked last week on a BMW. Now BMW has to be paid to reset. Will never use them again!, my first time will be the last!

Quick and efficient. It only took about 30 minutes and that was because there was a wait. Everyone had a mask on and the service was excellent.

Made an appointment for oil change and inspection a week in advance i was there on time they had me waiting for 20 minutes then came and told me manager Manny Utica said he could not do the inspection he was backed up with inventory i would have to do another day or they could send me to another office i said we be great to get done today they came back and said sorry your van is to heavy i have 3 vehicles i bring there all the time they have inspected my van before there is something wrong with this office i would recommend going else where for your service they are not to be trusted while this manager is here sad for the good worker

The staff here is amazing and informative. They check all safety aspects of your vehicle in a timely manner and are not pushy about trying to sell products you would normally get pushed on you at other oil change shops. The manager is super friendly and is always getting his hands dirty with his staff. I would not go to any other place. They check and double check their work and then they check it again.

Lied about what was going on with my car to gain more money

Couldn’t have been slower. Just left from getting an oil change. They told me it would be about 20minutes. An hour and 20 minutes later I was pulling out. I’ve never seen staff move so slow in my life. Darlin was my mechanic and could not be slower. Go anywhere else unless you have all day to waste for an oil change.

I live in Massachusetts where I use my local Valvoline for all my oil changes, they are great and have never given me any problems. For this reason I decided to bring my vehicle to the Copiague Valvoline location for an oil change while I was visiting family on Long Island. This turned out to be an extremely expensive mistake. My car is relatively new, a 2019 with 14 thousand miles on it, i drive it daily and it runs beautifully, and it was running beautifully on the day in question. However it was time for an oil change as I was approaching 3000 miles since my last one, so I bring my car in for an oil change to prepare for my long drive back up to MA, once the service is complete I drove out of the shop and noticed my engine seemed to be running a little rough. I thought this might be a side effect of a fresh oil change and drove it a few exits down the highway, when the feeling and sound did not stop after a few miles of driving I pulled over and called Valvoline, after explaining what I was hearing/feeling they told me to bring the car back and they would double check their work. So I drove the 5 minutes back to the shop. Once I was back there, several employees spent well over an hour trying everything they could think of to get my car running smoothly again. They did this because they were very clearly aware that they had caused this issue with my car. They even called in a manager from another location who was more familiar with my brand of vehicle. They finally gave up after close to 2 hours, and one manager suggested that I have it towed to the local dealership where they could professionally diagnose the problem. When it came time to pay the $200 for the diagnostic Manny, a manager at Valvoline, told me they couldn’t cover the cost of the diagnostic because at that point we didn’t know for sure that the issue was caused by Valvoline. He also stated to me that if the conclusion of the diagnostic showed fault on Valvolines end, that they would “of course cover any costs at that point”. Ok, I can live with that. So the dealership checks out the car, and finds that the oil was overfilled to the point that it spilled into other parts of the engine causing all the issues that we’re talking about. They fix it, the total cost is $311. When I bring the bill to Valvoline to cover, they tell me that they won’t pay a dime because they “checked the oil level twice”. But they can offer me a free oil change. So they looked at an official report from a mechanic, decided they didn’t believe it, and then went back on their word to cover the costs if they were found to be at fault. Absolutely beyond insulting and unprofessional. I’ve now had to hire a lawyer to take this issue to small claims court. The case won’t be hard to win, but just the fact that this all could have been resolved very smoothly by someone just stepping up, admitting a mistake, and covering a relatively small bill for a loyal customer, is very disappointing. If you want to do business with honest professionals, avoid this location at all costs.

This is a great experience for getting a simple oil change. They do the work quickly and the driver sits in the car. What could be easier? The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and work well as a team.

Save your money and go else where. The manager Andy Osorio is on a ego trip and refuses to believe he can do any wrong. I went in for an oil change and it took 3 people to replace a filter, and it was still put in incorrectly. There was a loud noise coming from my engine area. The manager was not willing to accept the fact that he made a mistake. I had to take my car to a mechanic shop and have them look at it. Long and behold, the filter was not seated properly, which was causing the loud noise. I had to spend another $20 to fix a mistake Andy made. I went back to Valvoline with the receipt to get reimbursed for the extra $20 I had to spend. Andy refused to cooperate with me and accused me of having a fake receipt and stated that he did the job correctly therefore he was not going to reimburse me. Never going back to this establishment ever again, very unprofessional and condescending manager running the show.

Staffs is very courteous and take time to explain everything. No pressure to up sale and good to know whats my options are. I was unable to get a NY State inspection from this location. I came on Wednesday and Thursday and was told that they cant perform inspection because printer was broken. Friday I had to wait an hour and a half, before someone told me that my emergency brake doesnt work without being pulled all the way back. I asked does that have to be all way up? I am a NY state inspector. I know what I am doing. He told me to get it fixed before the inspection would pass. This car just had its 50,000 mile check up from the dealership and if anything was wrong, it would have been brought to my attention. I dont like being lied to. If they didnt have time then just say so. Never going back. By the way. My car passed inspection thanks for wasting my time.

The first time I went after they changed to Valvoline I left that place feeling very offended. The manager Andy, whom I will never forget is disgusting. He spoke to me as if I was incompetent. Miss what dont you understand, Im speaking clear English is not the way a MANAGER should address a customer. I kindly said to Andy, please do not speak to me like I am stupid.......I WILL NEVER GO BACK! I prefer to pay a place that can treat me with some kind of respect.
