Great place to have, pretty much any type of tape (video or audio), to DVD, CD, or digital files.

I have had Astound Video convert many cassette and VCR tapes to CDs and DVDs over the past couple of years and have been thrilled with each result. The irreplaceable tapes were beginning to stretch and wear out, which was the reason I wanted to convert them so they wouldnt be lost. Aside from the magic Astound performs, the staff was always friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and knew what real customer service was. I have happily referred people to Astound and will continue to use their expertise. Thank you, Astound, for letting me continue to enjoy my favorite and special films and music!

These guys lost all of the tapes that I brought in! 10 years of my kids. The owner will not respond to phone calls or letters. I even have paid for them!! Beware! Looks like heading to court. But it doesn’t help to lose all your memories.Protect yourself...I have never gotten one phone call from the owner...I have been working on to get my tapes per his acknowledgement. I have not even been offered a refund...it appears there are others who feel the same way, and if he realizes how precious these tapes are why would a business get rid of them. There are a few online companies that offer this service and do a great job...seek them out.

8mm films almost 65 years old were converted to dvd and we love them. Work completed sooner than expected and customer service was great. Plan on returning for more conversions. Thanks for having a store in the northern suburbs

I found an old VHS of my mother and I swimming with dolphins and had it transferred to DVD for Christmas, my mother said it was the best gift ever. What a wonderful service and it is priceless. I have already brought in other items to be transferred to DvD. We will keep going back.

I had a great, speedy experience. Staff is friendly. I brought in a DVD with family footage for duplication and they duplicated it for me on the spot. It took about 10-12 minutes.

I dont usually do this, but wanted to tell about my experience with Astound Video. For years, my husband and I had talked about what to do with our videos that were disintegrating in a tub somewhere in our house. We finally decided to try to save the data on the videos and I had heard an ad on WCCO about Astound so took 28 videos to them. All I can say is that I wish I would have done this sooner. The movies are now available to watch whenever I want to. I dont need a VCR or special player to watch them....I can watch them on my TV or computer. The entire family has enjoyed them. Many years of videos that have gone unwatched are now being enjoyed. Thank you Astound for keeping these movies available to my family!

I FINALLY got around to converting family videos to dvd. I have been saying for years I would and I finally did. I stumbled across Astound and was a bit nervous. I have had my vhs 📼 family videos for about 30 years and really wanted to enjoy them again. I knew that they were older and I was a little hesitant to leave them in the hands of strangers. My visit into astound was quick, friendly and easy. They had the prices and package options listed clearly with no “extra” fees. I dropped off my videos and they were completed about 1.5 weeks later (this was the holiday season so I am assuming busier than normal). I was able to swing by and pick them up; just happy that they were digitalized to preserve. I was pretty amazed at the quality. The video transfer was flawless, organized and had consistent sound quality. I think they are priced well and fair.
