I have been trying to find a Black barber for my children for quite some time now. Ive found places that are filthy and places that dont know how to cut my childrens hair. But James and his staff did an EXCELLENT job. They were kind, friendly and most importantly made my sons look so handsome. Im happy I found a place I can trust with my childrens hair.

James is really professional at what services he offers, he will not be distracted from your service the entire time of the haircut. The rest of the barbers are just as professional at their task on hand and get your haircut needs met.

Found the place online. I was getting sick and tried of bringing my son to Great Clips. Should have called and made an appointment but was able to get in. His haircut turned out amazing. Highly recommend. I will not ever go anywhere else..

My review on my barber James:James is the definition of a 5 star Barber. This dude knows what he is doing! Hands down, James gives the best haircuts I have ever received. Not only does he give amazing cuts, hes super fun to talk to and hang out with during your cut. And he takes the time to make sure that the cut is clean, and most importantly, that you are happy. He truly cares about your opinion on the haircut that he is giving you. The dude is awesome!My review on the shop as a whole:The barbershop is very clean and stylish inside. And the other barbers are all super talented, social, and nice as well. Also, they are all wearing masks and following COVID guidelines extremely well, which earned huge points with me. Ive been going to Cutting Edge Barbershop over the past year now and have always walked out a happy customer. Finding a good barber can be very tough and Ive tried multiple places around the North Metro. James and Cutting Edge provides not only a clean and professional cut, he has also created a very welcoming atmosphere and great conversation.

Someone I work with recommended James to me and I couldnt be happier with the recommendation. Im someone who takes a lot of pride in their hair and Im very particular about the person cutting it. I finally found a barber that can cut my hair, the way I like it (grows out nicely too);(went through a few others in the cities, who didn’t listen and not getting my business anymore). Just as importantly, James has great hands (like a doctor) and an eye like an artist. His shop isabout 1/2 hour drive for me, but well worth it, if you like how you look, the way I do.
