Lived here not even a full month and I have MANY concerns!!!! Maintenance is NOT quick by any means!! Took 2 weeks for them to come look at my dishwasher..... only for them to tell me these dishwashers are different than most. Apparently they are not ment to dry your dishes all the way and leave hard water spots all over them. Must be a new thing ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธIโ€™ve called 2 times now on my garbage disposal that has backed up and now my sick is full of old nasty black water with food mixed in ๐Ÿคฎ .Either they need more maintenance people, or the ones they have need to pick it up!!! I pay good & to live here.... this is just ridiculous.

Theres reviews for a reason. Avoid this place at all cost. You are better off living in a box. From stolen packages to disgusting hallways to people who have no manners or regards for others. Trust me run far away from this place.

Ive been living here for the past year and a half. I have not had any issues with management and or anyone in the complex. Most people mind their business. Management has been very good to me. They are accommodating as well. Any problems Ive had has been fixed the same day. No complaints on my end.

I enjoy living here, hallways are fairly clean, individual apartments are really nice and reasonably priced. Pet fees are kind of massive and nobody wants to clean up after their own dog. The indoor pool is REALLY nice and I like how the washer and dryer dont take coins. If I were giving a review on the majority of the people who live here Id give zero stars, one guy opened my door the other day and suddenly closed it when we asked who was there, management has walked by and unlocked my door. So I ALWAYS NO MATTER WHAT keep my door locked. But overall its better than most places, very transparent.

Its a festival of nations at Colonial Estates! If you need goat meat, sheep cheese or a cup of curry, your neighbor probably has some. Single mothers encouraged to apply provided you have, at minimum, three unruly kids youre unable/unwilling to discipline and who have no regard for others peace or property. If youre on the government dole - and if you want to live here Im guessing you are - youre encouraged to take up the prime parking spots near the entrance even though your car wont move for three weeks. Make sure your car horn honks with your key fob, no matter the time of day and youll fit right in.

Kept my application fee and deposit and I never signed a lease! AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! Wonder why they dont respond to these reviews at all? Because they are true, and are VERY shady. I had to put a stop payment, contact the attorney general, and the better business. Property manager Michelle Thornton was really rude on the phone and got a hang up from me.

This place is horrible!! If you like sharing your home with giant centipedes and like stepping outside to see bloody baby rodents flopping on your patio, then this is the place for you... I AM NOT KIDDING! Their indoor pool is coated in green slime and the hot tub smells like canned corn, their outdoor pool hasnt even opened up yet and it is almost the end of June already. A few days ago, my children found a bloody hairless squirrel that fell out of the rotting fascia (roof overhang) onto our patio. It was still alive and suffering from the fall. CHILDREN ARE NOT ALLOWED TO PLAY OUTSIDE AT ALL. BUT Residents here walk their dogs and let them defecate all over the place! Every day there are stinky bags left outside the apartment entrances from lazy dog owners who refuse to walk them to the dumpster. When it gets warm the whole place smells like dog feces. Whatever you do, dont open up the windows for fresh air. First sign of spring they shut the heat off. HORRIBLE place to live, PLUS we started out renting for $700 for a two bedroom... they have raised the rent on us three times and we pay almost $1100 now!

Very nice older neighbors, but very unsafe in my opinion! and if you are thinking about getting a one bedroom plan on paying as much or even more then a house mortgage. Michele is great!

The staff are rude. I am breathing meth from the neighbors and management doesnโ€™t care if my family dies from it. They donโ€™t care. ๐Ÿ˜ Then they are saying we canโ€™t move out beforeApr 31. And we want to move out before then because we are all getting very sick from the toxic smell. Me and my family are living in a Hotel for A week and a half. They are going into are apartment any time they please, itโ€™s not right. And I did shut the windows before I left the apartment. Then we came back and the windows were open to air out the place. So they know there is meth in the building. I can smell it in the Front doors When I walk up the stairs.

I have lived at Colonial Estates for two years, in my second year while they changed management it has been an absolute disaster. I had a rent check that got lost in the mail and informed the complex and the leasing lady Julie was not willing to work with me on resolving the issue. The apartment teams have come in and out of my apartment at their own free will. I was showering and someone came in to my apartment when brought to their attention they denied it all. Outdoor Pool was supposed to be up and running by Memorial Day this year and did not get opened til end of June. Increased my rent which is why Iโ€™m moving out of this place, my unit is not updated or remodeled and increased rent by almost $100. Maintenance installed new faucets to comply with some โ€œregulationโ€ and was installed incorrectly and sprays every time I turn my faucet on, I have called 3 times and this problem still exists. Watch out for these crooks, I highly advise finding another place and company to lease with. Not worth the headache.

EDITED 7/18/18Spent two full days cleaning my apartment and was still charged a ridiculous $350 Full Clean Service. I would never recommend this place to any of my friends or family just from the few other horrible experiences Ive had. Rent keeps inflating, pool is always broken, centipedes in the summer time, dog piss and poop all over, noisy drug using neighbors, and corporate is nothing but a bunch of thieves. Id rather sleep on the streets than ever re-rent from this joint. If you do end up renting from Colonial Estates, you have been warned. Good luck on finding a place to live, you surely will regret this one.

Even after seeing the reviews we thought wed give this place a try...dont. the actual apartment is okay but has crazy centipedes and was a mess when we moved in. The management here however is...unimpressive is the word Id use. Doesnt give 24 hours notice for parking lot repairs, doesnt have the fitness center open the Sundays and random weekdays as well and for whatever reason the weights go from 5-15 a huge gap and then something like 30-60. Seriously Id go out of my way to avoid this place also dog owners dont pick up after themselves dispite management saying the owners do. And of course loud neighbors.

Its the worst place to live when it comes to costumer service. The ladies in the office are horrible!!!! Any problem you have they have a attitude with you and try to diagnosis the problem without listening to you or looking at the problem. Matt was by far the best; he helped with everything and now he is gone.. So, they hired a new younger lady who is just like the older women. (Attitude and all) will not be resigning my lease!! Horrible! Horrible! Horrible!

This place is a sham. Management sucks, nothing gets fixed on time. they charge a $40 monthly common area maintenance fee and it goes straight into their pockets. The grounds are riddled with dog feces because they never fill the doggy bag stations, garbage all over the grounds, the dumpsters are always overflowing with furniture and garbage and it smells horrible. They have a weight room, but tenants steal the free weights so it is only open from 9-6, anyone who works cant use it. My advice, go elsewhere. But, if you like kids running up and down the halls screaming and crying and littering the hallways with garbage and food, enjoy.

Staff is terrible, and have lied to me and other tennents multiple times. The owners are like over seas and incorporated here to get easy money, all your rent gets funnled out of the country. They hardly put it into upkeep, overall I would call it a polished turd. Same as their sister carrage oaks. Look for buildings ran by horning company, way better management, Ive even lived in section 8 buildings by t&t property management and they where more pleasant for the price, ya a bit more run down but half the rent for 2 more rooms and staff that will work with you.

This is the dumpiest place Ive ever lived. The reason I picked it was because they said they dont allow pets. A month after I moved in, there was a dog right above me barking ALL NIGHT LONG. I talked to management and they said Oh, we had to start allowing pets because we couldnt rent all the units out. Had to put up with a barking dog every night for the next 11 months. The water was orange (seriously!) and the heat couldnt heat the apartment hotter than about 70 degrees in winter.

This place is terrible. If you have any other choice, DO NOT live here. The hallways constantly stink of pot, there was a drug bust while we lived there, multiple break ins, and its not a safe neighborhood. We also got the carpets cleaned after we moved out, paid for it and gave them the receipt only to have them charge it for us on our deposit. It is a cheap place that will take any extra money that they can. Finally the management is always grumpy and does not like to give out information concerning your lease, refund, etc. Stay away from this place.

Property Manager Michelle Thornton is VERY rude and unprofessional! I requested corporate number to file complaint and she first gave me that wrong number then when I went to office to obtain it from other staff they claimed she was the only one that had access to it. She refused to give me her supervisors name and number after several requests. I felt targeted and discriminated by her during my entire stay. Though the establishment itself isnt that bad but customer service by management team is awful!!!!

Im sorry, you want me to what? Amputate my cats finger tips just so he can live there??? Declawing is a horrible thing to do to your animal and should only be used as a last resort for behavior problems (Even then the cat should be rehomed before amputation!!). What a disgusting thing to prefer. I hope the folks who prefer this be the case wake up without their fingertips one day.

I absolutely hated this place. I was moving from out of state and they quoted me a rent amount. Then when I went to sign the lease they told me it was $200 more! I moved out after a year. I cleaned the place out with very minor damages, yet they took my whole security deposit and charged me over $100 more! I lived by myself without any pets and kept it clean. I was gone for three weeks on vacation one time. When I came back they had randomly changed everyones locks! I was locked out, and they never called or emailed me to inform me. I also could never use the gym because it was only open until 5:45pm. It was always hot in my apartment. The hot tub is always broken. The people above me were really loud. Laundry is expensive and the dyers dont dry the clothes all the way.
