If I could give them less than 1 star.. I would! Chanceys towed my vehicle and decided to leave it in the middle of the road because they said my driveway was too steep for their truck. Didnt bother helping me get it out of the road. I called the office in hopes they will at least send another truck or help so that its not in the way and the lady was extremely rude and unprofessional. Needless to say I had to get another towing company who is equipped with vehicles that can handle towing to come move it out of the way. K2 towing was awesome. They had the truck needed for towing and did it quickly.

I just called chances to inform them about two drivers driving on I-20 in a reckless manner. Two separate vehicles (tow truck and pickup with trailer) changed lanes cutting off other vehicles without any consideration of there being any room in that lane. Luckily the drivers, including my husband and I, were able to quickly maneuver to avoid being hit or causing another accident. I called Chanceys office to let them know of this reckless driving and the lady who picked up the phone was like oh well theres an emergency. I was shocked to find that she had no care about the safety of other drivers because of the reckless driving of their drivers. I understand that there may be somebody needing a tow truck but theres never a reason for someone to drive so unsafe that they potentially cause two other drivers to be hit slam on brakes, swerve and cause two other accidents. Im very disappointed by the unprofessionalism and careless attitude of this company.

How can a business of this magnitude ask only for cash! Insurance don’t apply to my situation so that means I have to pay cash to get my car back? Don’t sound like a honest business! I like to keep records of who I pay over $800.

Not respectful at all, during COVID 19. Driver doesnt wear mask when theres sign at our build to have mask prior to entry. Driver still enter w/out mask.... So sad..

Called USAA for a flatbed wrecker to tow my SUV to the dealer because I had a broken drive shaft. The dispatcher told me that there was no place to park the car at the dealer and they didnt have a night drop box. ALL LIES!!! They tried to get me to let them tow my car to their lot and charge me a 25 dollar overnight storage fee and they would drop if off the next day. I said hell no!!! Ive been to that dealership before for routine car repairs and I knew better. I told them to tow it there anyway and when we got there the driver took it directly to a spot right across from the service door like hed been there 100 times before. He even told me that the drop box is on the front side of the service building. These people are a bunch of scam artists and scavengers. Dont use them unless you absolutely HAVE to. And If you do use them, be very careful and be on your toes. There are SHADY!!!

To reiterate a past review- The driver of a blue cab, orange lettering, large flatbed on 575 SB at 5:07pm on 6/8 is the epitome of whats wrong with trucking. You should remind your drivers that monopolizing the left lane at erratic speeds is discourteous, rude and outright dangerous.

Fair Warning- I wish 0 stars were possible. My Chrysler 200s, most terrible car you could purchase, left myself, husband, & our 2 small children stranded. Roadside assistance dispatched this horrible company- Chanceys Wrecker Service. After waiting patiently for 1 1/2 hours, which was fine because that was the wait time we were told, the driver called to say he was 10 mins out. 5 mins after that dispatched called saying they would need to dispatch a different company because the driver said we cursed him out. Why would anyone curse someone who was coming to help them? Why lie, why not just admit you heard an African American sounding voice and your unrelenting prejudice wouldn’t allow you to come... or you got sick all of a sudden? Why lie on us tho? We had to wait additional time for a reputable company to come.

They are very very slow they don’t respond and don’t care about there customers. You have an appointment and they still push u back very unprofessional. They don’t contact you to let you know to keep you informed about anything. I understand everybody have there days but this have happened way to often. And for them not to be compliant is a big thing. Being stranded and or car wreck what ever isn’t fun when you being told a eta and still no one have called or showed up. Customer service is very very poor I don’t see how they make any money oh I forgot they cater to the police and forget everybody else .

I would seriously give these people a zero if I could. While I was trying to get onto I20 in Conyers, from Sigman Road, I had a green light and these fools think it was fine for them to honk and purposely run a red light, almost hit the car in front of me and then almost hit me and caused the car behind me to almost rear end me! You are not above the law and I will be reporting it to the police!

This place totally sucks. I called in for a tow at 8:59am. I was told by a middle age woman that it would be 1 to1 1/2 hours. I said ok and we hung up. 3 1/2 hours later no call back or tow truck. I called them back and never got an apology for not coming nor did she care when I brought it to her attention. I even told her that I understand that things happen and drivers get extremely busy. She never still apologize for no one showing up or calling. She only cared about given me the information of the driver would be another 30 minutes. This is unacceptable.... Will never use them even if it is free.......

I saw 1 of there drivers all over the road just now on I 285 East going North in truck c20 by the I 85 intercection. Not paying attention moving any where from 35 then up to 55 from one lane to another. Very shameful. I had to pull over just do send this text because Im not going to risk a life on a count of a text!!!!!.

Anyone who rates this place higher than a 2 is family or friends and it a BS review to try them look the better than the 2.6 they have right now. By word of mouth Ive heard nothing but terrible things about this place. What little Ive dealt with them, they have lived up to their reputation. Their dispatcher is a total b*tch and needs to be working in some dark corner with no public interaction!!! Dont know how this POS establishment has stayed in business, but they need to give it up!

I called Monday, December 9 to find out how much the bill was. After giving her details of who I was and what car I owned I asked if we could get personal items from the car. She advised me they had already closed at 6. I asked her how much the bill was and she told me 175 + 25 a day for storage. After 4 phones calls trying to coordinate pick up I was asked if I was the owner and I told them the car was in my name. I was still charged $70 for them to “find out who the car belonged to”. I was charged a clean up fee of $35. The tow driver told me there was only dirt on the road and the officer told him “don’t worry about. Get out of here”. There was a $70 charge due to ALL the extra work he had to do. Didn’t know all this til I got there with my junk car buyer and needless to say, I didn’t have enough cash. So $225 became $400. I was advised the man might not be there when I got back so I needed to call first. Long story short, I wasn’t able to get my car cause my junk car man had another appointment ...another $25 storage charge. I was also told my car was in Conyers and went there only to find out it was in Covington. The Covington location was very rude, unwilling to honor their word, very sneaky and very ill informed.

If you are stuck, broken down or need a crane these are the people to call. Owner is respectable as are most of the drivers. They have some of the more skilled staff than others I have used or worked with.

Its obvious this place hires drivers whove exhausted all their options in the real world. The driver in the blue Pete with orange lettering heading toward Carrollton around 1330 on 3/16 is the epitome of whats wrong with trucking. Discourteous, rude, and thinks he owns the road and was completely indiscriminate in showing he felt that way. You should remind your drivers that speeding (70 or better in a 55) is an automatic invalidation of oversize permitting and would be disastrous to his record and the companys financial well-being

Absolutely the worst towing experience in my life. Had to call on a Saturday to get someone to open their gate to obatin items in my moms vehicle. If your business hours are posted you should ensure someone is available during those times. Was told someone would be here at 4:15 and noone has showed up.

If I could give zero stars I would. Customer service is horrible told the lady I didnt receive her call and the next thing that flew out of her mouth was thats not my problem. Also the driver lied and said he was at the car meanwhile I was sitting right beside it and I never seen him pull up. Wrecker was dispatch to help change a flat to the spare called geico and said driveway was to steep. Although we have had box trucks and moving trucks on my driveway just fine and levels out at the top. Driver is a pansy. Ugh. Managed to do it our selfs but very rude service, I would not recommend.

Unbelievable racket and taking advantage of people who have been in a car accident- We were giving no options for towing after a wreck even though we have triple AAA - No mention of cost associated and daily fee charged for every day our totaled car remained at their lot at the time of accident. These cost were relayed to us by letter over a week later after we had incurred more than 500.00- Then even trying to negotiate with us for the title of the car so THEY could sell it and maybe recoup some of what we owe them like we would trust them!!! We would have had a free tow with triple AAA to our home or any location. I am just disgusted that they are taking advantage of people in this way- Especially after an accident when folks are already in a terrible predicament. DISGUSTING! Never will they get a business referral from us and plan on reporting to the BBB.

Another 1 star review for Chanceys and the boys! They charged us $250 to tow our wrecked car 3 miles to their shop! Then, it was $25 per day storage (unbeknownst to us). The first contact we had was a certified letter they sent demanding payment for these outlandish fees! They evidently have a contract with Rockdale county as the primary company to tow wrecked vehicles, and use this relationship to bilk insurance companies and individuals like myself out of hundreds of dollars.Never, never, never us them.

Their driver is absolutely reckless. I was going down I-20 when their wrecker came speeding up behind me, going at least 90 MPH. A few moments later, I came up on them again. As I approached, they slammed on their brakes and swerved into my lane. I had very little time to stop, and came very close to hitting them, which could have seriously hurt or killed me. They proceeded to swerve back in front of the other car and drove across the lanes. This company needs a more competent driver. They are putting lives at risk.

If I could give them less stars than this I would. I was in an accident on the night of January 1st and they were called by the county. I wanted to have my car towed to my home but was informed by the driver that I would have to pay up front for the cost of the tow, but if I just have it towed to their yard, then my insurance would cover it. What they did NOT tell me was that while my car was parked there they would be charging me $20 a day and that if I decided that I needed to get it from them before my insurance company could pay for it then I would have to pay for it ALL myself. Not only the original towing cost, but also the storage fees that I was NOT told about until nearly a week and a half later.So now instead of paying the $100 I could have paid to tow it to my home that night, I am stuck paying close to $500. Thanks a lot Chancey. I will make sure to roast your services whenever I get the opportunity so that this doesnt happen to someone else who is struggling financially and the last thing they need is a company to neatly pull the wool over their eyes in order to extort more money from them.

Worst experience ever! My car was towed after an auto accident by their driver Steven. I found out from my insurance company several days later that the aftermarket head unit i just installed was gone. So i went to chanceys to ask them if they knew anything about that. They got in my face raised their voices at me placed the blame on everyone else even though i was simple asking. they told me it s just $200 id just forget about it. They never even investigated it. I will never use them again. If you don t want your stuff stolen use a different company.

Screw this place I will never recommend them EVER! I had a flat tire in the morning when we woke up, I am not physically able to change the tire myself and when we looked in the trunk we had no jack (used car we just bought) so I called Firestone for help and they set me up with this place.Once the driver got here (he was supposed to call when on the way and that never happened) I had to jump out of bed as I have been sick today.I went out to meet him so he had me back it out of the driveway, then he has me yes ME pull it up on the back of his truck? I thought this was strange and possibly against their policy which is turned out it was. So as im pulling my car up he tells me to keep going keep going and i scrape my bumper on the group and tear open a rip in my bumper.In the end while looking at some photos I realized the tear was already back there (I have bad vision so I never noticed it as it was patched) so I was ok with that but the Driver Dewitt lied to his superiors about what happened. He told them I insisted on driving it on the truck which never happened and I wouldnt let him get in the car which was BS because I didnt want to do it at all. If I didnt want him do it why did I let him take it off the truck by himself?So basically in the end I wasnt upset at all about the damage because it was indeed there but the fact he lied to cover his ass runs me the wrong way and Il never do business with liars ever again. DO NOT GO HERE. If anything happens with the tiny latino man named Dewitt he will lie his ass off to make it all your fault. Have a great day all.

I have used Chanceys twice in the past 3 months and both times the service was ok despite the fact that they never arrive by the timeframe they give you! Before today I wouldve given them 3 out of 5 stars but after a racist remark by 1 of their employers was made on Facebook, WSBTV page to be exact by a Mr. David Howard, Chanceys will never see a dime from me again! Because of the fragile state of which our country is right now I REFUSE to spend my money on a business that employs racists! Maybe the company should suggest that their employees not have their pages linked to their job before making racist remarks on a public forum!

I was in as Feldman that I TFT him was ;400 yards he had 50 ft of Cale I had 125 ft of rope he then brought out chain l tat flu short the n he had a tattered tow yyyLstrap that was to small we got it all mix mached together and of corse his strap undersized broke I had a freer in the back of mY truck didnt want it going bad so I offered to go to my housouse to Getty bull rope now two of my ropes albedo we gotMy truck out no thanks to his equipment.. My beef is northern told have strong straps cheap (he shold have had them then he has the nerve to chargee me with my equipment 200 some people!!!!!!!!!!!

I called to have a car towed and was told that it would be 45 minutes to an hour. Over an hour later, I called back, and they then said that it would be 15 to 20 minutes, because they were behind schedule. 30 minutes later, I called and they said that the truck was there. They do not stand up to their time. They might as well have a 4 hour block on when they will arrive...like getting cable or satellite service installed.

Okay service, but front desk person was a bit harsh with no reason to be so.

Sent me an invoice for 1800 for a truck in their yard. I was driving the truck at the time. Not reputable they also invalidated my title.

Chanceys towed my car from my daughters school on Friday, 5/13. They punctured my tire and bent my hubcap on the car and said that they wont do anything about it. They said that there was supposed to be an inspection that didnt happen either. Terrible service. Dont recommend.

I needed my car towed. I called them right at 6pm and was told that they would tow it in the morning because it was getting dark. REALLY!!!!!

I work with a Construction rental company and we use them as an outside vendor for moving our heavy equipment. Their cheaper then Tara and Marietta and have always been very professional and represented our brand when they haul for us. Have and will continue to use them.

They STEAL!!!! Enough said.
