Excellent work and adding a bustle to my friends wedding dress. Sarah and her team was very helpful and great to work with.

I have never left a bad review before, but here it goes. All I wanted was a pair of shorts to be hemmed a little shorter. They had gotten permanently stained at the bottom and i wanted it to be covered up. The first time I they did it they still left the stain at the bottom bc they only took it up a tiny amount. They said they would fix it but the second time they took too much off and turned them into chubbies or something. The hem itself is totally crooked everywhere, there are loose threads and bunched up fabric in places. Do not go here!

Sarah has a great customer friendly attitude & she is very elite at what she does. I’ve used her several times & she always does a great job. Sarah makes sure you love your clothes before you walk out of the door. I’ve had two occasions where I arrive to pick up jeans and initially was not in love with the results, sarah offered to make corrections on my merchandise without any additional charge to me. She is the best around.

So far theyve had my coat for 3 months and told me it would only take a few weeks to completed the alterations and repair. After a month I called to check the status and they said theyd call back. They did not. Another month later I called again. Same story and no call back. I went into the shop last week and was told theyd have it completed today. They even set an appointment for me to pick it up today. An automated text to confirm pickup was sent to me this morning, which i confirmed. An hour before I was to pick up my coat, I recieved a call saying they just started working on it today and it would not be ready as promised. If they had not already started it today I would have cancelled and just taken my business elsewhere. I HOPE when I get back in town in a couple weeks they actuality have it done, but I have zero faith in their business ethic.Its like working with children that are not responsive and cant keep their word.I just hope the work is up to a decent standard.Update, after my review was likely seen and telling them they were not able to be counted on for their word, they decided to not do the work. Of course Im critical and I let them know on the phone of their lack of accountability and honor, but when you cant handle the truth about your business and make excuses and decide to not do the job you said over 3 months ago you could do in 3 weeks without caring to update a customer and not return their call twice you deserve a bad review and to lose business.FINAL UPDATEI finally was able to go pick up my jacket on Friday. The last thing Sarah had said to me a few weeks ago was that they had started on it before I talked to them when they said they wouldnt have it done by the scheduled appt.Well, imagine my lack of surprise that they had not done one single thing on my jacket in 3 months time. They said it wouldnt be ready when they said it would but it HAD NOT EVEN BEEN TOUCHED.Not one shred of the old liner had been taken out in preparation of putting a new liner in.Ill state this once more so Sarah knows how I feel about her professionalism, integrity and honesty. PATHETIC.Follow up to your reply....Yes, I was rude. Your business deserves someone to put you in check for lying and not following up by the time you said you would. That was after 3 months of being lied to. You stated 3 weeks, and after 3 months you had not even touched my jacket... although on the phone you stated you had started it. Lies again.3 months of lies and you say I need patience? Really. What do I need to do? Wait a year for a reply? What constitutes patience to you? I should have canceled after the first time you lied to me and didnt provide an update. I had MORE than enough patience any decent business deserves.Yes, you scheduled a pickup, but then one hour before it was to be ready you called stating it would not be ready. THAT is why i was rude. Not because you did your job but because you lied to me for 3 months.You are the business and you are accountable to the customer. Not the other way around.

My experience here was very great! Ms.Sarah was very friendly and understanding as to what service I was wanting. Even when she’s not there, other staff are very knowledgeable! I’m so glad I stopped in! I definitely will be using her services again!

Great service. My Alterations came out really well.I had to have my uniform let out since I put on some weight after 7 years of retirement. I didnt even have time to really measure but after we discussed the adjustments they were able to execute them precisely and I was able to make the event in time in uniform.I had so many things going on all at once the Alterations, I felt was not going to be able to happen but they miraculously did it and totally reduced some of the stress I had.I will definitely use them again.. hopefully to tighten it back up after I loose some fat..

We were getting a rank patch sewn on for my husbands USAF uniform hat. The first time we got his hat back, the seamstress did not fully adhere to instructions given for placement of the rank and had to try again. The second time they attempted to fix the placement, it still was not centered as instructed. In addition, it was crooked! We will have to go somewhere else to remove it and place it correctly. It was frustrating because they kept expressing they understood what I was asking for, but the results speak very clearly that they did not. It would have been no big deal if they would have just said they didn’t know how it should go and I could give better instruction but they acted like they knew both times. Then when finally picking up they didn’t even ask if it was correct. They were nice people but this was very frustrating to deal with.

I had very intricate and ornate beeding on my wedding dress. They did an excellent job and hand stitched most of it perfectly. Great prices and professional. They do an amazing job with a wedding dress. I hear the bustles are amazing.

Do not go here. Not only are the alterations overpriced and subpar, the service is terrible. After 4 cancelled appointments, a shoddy job, and several outright lies, I can safely say youre better off just ordering something online from a sketchy dress dealer than going here and expecting anything to be done well. I would give 0 stars if at all possible.

0/5 stars! If you’re looking to get anything altered I recommend finding somewhere else to do it. I came in on a Saturday and they said it would be done by 11am Tuesday. Then another text said sorry not until 3pm. Then another text that said sorry there is a delay it’ll be a different day. I tried to call the owner and never got a call back, even after leaving a message. I also responded to the text with a question and no response. Then I tried to speak to the owner at the shop and ended up waiting for over 30 minutes. I would not recommend to go this shop. She was condescending and rude the entire time! Made no attempt to correct her attitude or how she behaved. Then upon my wife trying the pants on, they weren’t even done correctly! The. After arguing with me she decided to say it was a family emergency, if I would have known square one that’s what happened I would have understood, but after 15 minutes of arguing with me then that’s what it became.

I cant praise this place enough! Sarah is top notch at her job. She altered my husbands suit for our wedding. We only gave her 5 days to get it done and wow did she deliver. The suit looked like it was made only for him. She does amazing work. Plus, she is such a kind and friendly person. I recommend this business 100%!

Needed a suit jacket tailored (Did good on that part) and paid extra to have it pressed for a wedding on Saturday. Dropped the jacket off and paid, even tipped a $13 tip bringing total to right at $100 had an employee pick the jacket up for me on Friday afternoon and when I went to get it from my office later that night it was not pressed or even ready for a wedding. Had to take it home due to them being closed already and not open on the weekend. I had to steam it and press it myself so it would be presentable for the wedding. Not Happy!!

I brought in several pairs of jeans which were all slightly too big in the waist, some of which needed adjustments through the leg as well. I have such a hard time finding jeans that fit right, that Ive pretty much settled with buying jeans that almost fit, and then having them tailored. I would ordinarily use Fit & Fix It downtown, but she was booked so far ahead bc of Corona, that I decided to take my jeans here. Huge waste of money!They didnt even make all of the adjustments that I paid for, bc you pay ahead of time.. but thats for the best bc the adjustments that they did make look terrible! Theyre all very noticeable, the material is just folded over and stitched in a way that bunches on a couple of the pairs. There are even loose threads on one pair! And then the pair that she actually tapered in the legs for me?? I cant believe they would even give me my jeans back like this!

I went in at the last minute to get my wedding dress altered because I lost weight randomly right before my wedding. I didn’t realize I had lost so much weight until I tried my dress on a week before my wedding. I was devastated! I searched alteration shops on google and found Arkansas Alterations. Sarah and her crew were amazing! They were so kind and helpful. My dress was tailored to perfection! I am so thankful for Arkansas Alterations! Sarah is truly awesome at what she does! I will definitely be back!

I called Akansas Alterations with little time before I needed my wedding dress last year. Not being from the area I didn’t have anyone to ask to refer me to places while I was down at school. Sarah was wonderful, my dress was great, and it was done in a timely fashion for more than reasonable price. Thank you!

Loveeee how my dress turned out! And in such a quick turn around time! They did such a great job and very nice staff!

Dropped a backpack off to have patches sewn. Got the backpack back with one pocket sewn closed and three patches hand sewn with only a couple of stitches to hold then on. Due to time constraints, the backpack was accepted as is and fixed at another seamstress as a rush job. $26 wasted. The business may do well with clothing alterations, but simple patches on a backpack were bungled.

Sarah is fantastic! I needed alterations done on my wedding dress, and because of my work schedule it was some what short notice. She finished my dress with plenty of time before my wedding, and it looks amazing! She is very reasonably priced and easy to work with!
