River town auto is the best place in myrtle. They are knowledgeable, dependable, and honest. They also have the best prices on the grand strand. Louie is a stand-up guy and gives you honest evaluation of your vehicle and then usually underpriced service from competitors. Wouldnt go anywhere else.

I come here for any issue with my car, and they are always accommodating and knowledgeable.

Dropped my car off for a 3pm appointment. Was told the car was finished & parked out front since I would arrive to pick it up after closing time & where my keys were hidden.Arrived around 7:30pm to pick my car up as I work overnights... car was locked in garage. Needless to say I had to call an Uber, and was unhappy to say the least. Went back in the next day and was told they had 2 of the same cars that day, which is fine mistakes happen. I was offered no apology, no empathy, nothing. I will never return & neither will anyone I know.

I would give 10 stars if I could. Stellar experience! Joe took his time and addressed all of my concerns, which included giving advice to check out other shops for things that they couldnt handle. I grabbed a few business cards, but wish that I had grabbed way more bc Im going to be handing those things out like cash.

My car was here for almost 3 days overheating. They stated they only pressure tested my vehicle in those 3 days and drove it 5 minutes down the road. Why not look at the vehicle to see what the real issue is. Switched their story up multiple times. I would never do business here again.

They have good service with fair price. I went their twice to change engine oil. The guy who see the cash, is a gentle, friendly guy. It took not more than 20 mins for me to get my work done. Card is accepted. I also liked the cute boy in the waiting room who is the son of the owner. Decent place to fix your car

WARNING!!! YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF FOR PARTS: (Picture Screen Shots of conversation below)I came in for a Headlights Replacement service. I already had previous work done on my car before hand, but had already set an appointment so I figured why not try them out.For replacing 2 Low beam Headlights and 1 High beam lights my bill came out to be $176.22!!!After the checking through the bill statement, I call around for price checks on the exact parts purchased for this, and was told that it was costed fraction of what was charged. (Screen shots below)Napa: Low Beam (Actual Price) - $19.99River Town Auto: (Charged Price) - $39.98I was recommended by a friend for some car service here and thought to try them out from recommendation. Joe (the mechanic) who serviced my car told me that he applied a family/friend discount through the recommendation. After doing the math on the bill statement, all the discount provided was lowering labor cost while charging over twice the cost for parts. (Sounds like ripping people off with extra steps to me...)Anyway let this be a lesson that Ive learn that I hope others will not make the same mistake. (Always inspect your bill statements!!!)
