Its a meeting. The people there are not as nice as they seem at first. To each there own.

Some good people there. Relaxed atmosphere, very casual. I had never been to an AA meeting in my life but, went there, participated, kind of enjoyed the whole experience but, found that someone there has expressed that they would rather I didnt show up to their meetings so....I will not intrude on his meetings again. Its a shame though.Maybe he doesnt feel comfortable around women, who knows?

Primary purpose is to help another alcoholic achieve sobriety . Helped me when I couldn’t help myself.

You cant beat a fellowship. Here the people do not want anything from you except for you to recover. There are not many places like that. If you have not tried it, please do.
