Highly recommend visiting, even for home cooks. This place has some great items at decent prices. We couldnt find a good oil temperature gauge even on Amazon, and this place had a selection! We wandered through and ended up buying several items. Edit a year later: everything we bought is still excellent.

Working restaurant business you always need something. Chef Supply are great friendly people who go out of their way to help you and if they dont have it there theyll order it for you. I highly recommend them even if you dont work in the restaurant business you can still go there and get supplies for any need even if its a bigger boiling pot for when family visits

Usually go to restaurant supply store off Cypresswood but found this store on google, which is a little closer. First impression - deserted...sloppy. From the outside, doors slung open, blinds bent and inventory across the floor (not orderly). I entered, dark & junky. Service man exited a front room and within ONE MINUTE, i realized (about 20 seconds behind) that he was going in on me! I was not even 5 feet in the door. Outtie!! Will not return - - D E S E R T E D for a reason 🤮

Took my knife there to be sharpened, came back the next day to find out the guy appears to have never sharpened a knife in his entire life. In fact, it was more dull than when I had left it. Beside the dull edge, he slipped and destroyed the Teflon coating and then had the nerve to say they wouldnt charge me.There goes a $120 knife.
