Switched to Parrot Head - Spring, from a service provider I was very pleased with, to save about 30%. Felt I was paying a bit too much. Mistake! Wow, so what can I say to keep this constructive. I had to fire PH after 3 weeks......after seeing them once on a weekly service plan. And practically nothing that they originally stated or sold to me about the service was delivered.Week 1: after signing up on a Wednesday, was told theyd be out that same Thursday or Friday since I was getting service on Fridays and was cancelling my existed service same day. Sounded great for them to come out so quickly and maintain my weekly cycle. Did not happen! I sent email over the weekend asking what happened. My email was never acknowledged or responded to by the office. No phone call either. A Tech just simply showed up on Monday with excuses. Ok, fine - minor hiccup - lets just get this thing rolling. Little did I know it was very foretelling.Algae: When the tech was here for my one service, I specifically pointed out and showed that my pool water had algae spores in it. Algae was clearly visible on a landing and along the spa walls. Was told it would be handled/treated. Wrong - algae was clearly forming again with 1-2 days after my service.Service Reports: When I signed up was told (like many of the services) that I would get an emailed report of each service with pictures. Wrong - I havent seen/received a report.My Day of Service: The first (only) day (Monday) that the Tech was here I told him that I wanted and was told during signup that Id have Thursday/Friday service. He said he would get that taken care of. Wrong - two weeks later I havent seen another service.So now Im on Week 3 of my relationship with Parrot Head Pools - Spring and have received only one service. It is Friday late day (4pm) and no one has been by for 11 days now. I called the office but no one answered. I left a voicemail asking for information on my account (wondering what they have me down for) and expressing concern about their service. Im firing them after 3 weeks - with only one pool service to their credit. Extremely poor!

NOT RECOMMENDED FOR POOL INSPECTION! I cant speak for the quality of their service because we never got that far. I scheduled an appointment for a pool inspection of a house my parents are in the process of buying. And to see if they could become their permanent service company. After two days, three appointments, and countless hours wasted waiting at the listing (by sellers and buyers)...The tech never showed up. No calls. No notice of the original 8am appointment being rescheduled to 3pm. No communication at all, unless I called. No answer on the final day they didnt show up or any time after that. I understand things happen, but I dont understand the lack of communication. Very unprofessional and disappointing.

To all that have suffered mediocre or poor pool service, & we dealt with several, then please call Tom Rayburn & Parrot Head pool Service. Absolutely outstanding in all areas. Tom & his team blow away the competition, and there are 100s of them. From weekly service to a variety of service needs Tom & his team provide outstanding value. I read the negative post about overcharging, which I question as my experience with Tom has been just the opposite. VERY INFORMATIVE & more than willing to make me happy!! He has come personally to my home to help.A total quality experience from start to finish. You are simply losing out if Parrot Head is not your pool service company!!! Dale Darr

Tommy, at Parrot Head, is the real deal! He came out to clean my mothers pool which had been sitting stagnate for probably a couple of years. There was all manner of filth, dirt, frogs and who knows what. Tommy came out, gave a quote and even when this job turned out to be more than he anticipated, did not charge any extra. I will continue to use Parrot Head to maintain my mothers pool and hopefully never find it in this condition again :) Hats off to Tommy & co - thanks for bringing back my mothers pool to a swimmable state - its been her most desired thing ever since recently losing her husband of over 50 years.

Parrot Head pools is awesome from top to bottom . Very thorough and professional. They show up on time and keep our pool in TopShelf condition for any service calls and our routine weekly cleaning. I highly recommend !

These guys started out two years ago doing an awesome job, but the service level has steadily declined. This week the service tech left the pool equipment disassembled and in service mode for the second time in a month. I tried calling but no one answers the phone after 4:00.

Want to give a huge shout out & thank you to Parrot Head Pools for the wonderful job they did on my pool decking. It was a little difficult in the beginning to come up with the design I was looking for, but Tommy & I worked together to get the red brick herringbone design I was looking for. I was pleased with the process and am very pleased with the final product. Highly recommend!

Had a few initial issues with scheduling service. But Pam called back to resolve and had a great tech out, Marty, to clean out my DE filter and provide very useful information and a quote on my 20 year old pool heater. Thanks!

Over Priced by 10X!! I had someone inspect the pool. We were told it would cost over $100K to fix. I had everything fixed including re plastering for about $10k with another company. It cost $300 for the inspection. What a waste of money.. This type of business practice is most likely typical for people that just purchased a house with a pool. Ripping people off is basically stealing which is against the moral fiber of society in general. It might make you a quick dollar but karma is universal and what goes around comes around. UPDATE: I have the invoice that has your company name. After your guy left we both started laughing. He said $140k to be exact. Wanted to rip the pebble stone up and replace all the pvc. You are right. It was $200.

This company deserves a 5 star review. The great customer service began when I called to schedule a service call to replace my motor to the pump that kept burning up, Matt explained my options and pros and cons of each. He scheduled and followed up before service call. I really appreciate his patience over the phone as he explained to this novice why I might consider a variable speed pump and motor.I have used Parrot Head in the past and have been very satisfied, but today, with the install of a variable speed pump, I had a ton of questions. Marty not only did really great quality work, he enthusiastically answered each and every question patiently and in easy to understand terms. It is obvious that he has a ton of experience around pools. He even gave me simple tips to make our filter cleaning much easier in the future. You hate to spend money on repairs, but when you get really quality work from a really great technician who goes above and beyond, it makes the process a little easier.

Mike came out for pool school today and was very knowledgeable! He did a great job not only explaining how to care for our pool but showing us as well. We had him scheduled for 8am but he didnt show. A few hours later he called us an was very apologetic. He had overslept and just woken up. It happens to us all and he was very sincere in his apology. We appreciated his honesty! He came out about 30 minutes later and stayed for over an hour. He even helped with some rewiring of our pool pump. At the end he apologized again for being late and told us that his service was free and that he wouldnt be charging us due to him arriving late. I love that he was honest and willing to do the job for free to make up for his mistake. Thats great customer service! We did however pay him because he did a fabulous job and weve all been in his shoes. We would highly recommend Mike!

Pump motor replaced efficiently and promptly. Courteous and professional service. Took time to answer questions. Weekly pool maintenance always done on time.

I love it when a company redeem themselves. We had made an appointment for a pool school between 2 pm and 6 pm. I was told that the tech would call 2 hours prior to his arrival. 4:53 pm no call no show so I called the company to asked if the tech was running late. 5:06 pm, yes only 13 minutes after my call I got a call back from Mark to tell me that he is at my front door could I meet him there. What 5 pm traffic? 13 minutes! Wow that is service! Dont give me excuse give me solutions and that is exactly what Mark did. My wife and I were customers for life but wait there is more if you call in the next 15 minutes. Seriously, Mark is the supervisor, he was on his way to his home but stopped at our place give us 90 minutes not 60 minutes pool school. Mark was very knowledgeable, super honest, and even saved us lots of money.

Company has gone downhill tragically. Contributing to the problem is disorganization and family owned when the owners own daughter doesnt care about their customers. I have tried to work with this company over service issues several times, but unfortunately now I have a missing Polaris and discovered I have been billed for services they never performed. In speaking with Pam today I was informed she was too busy with other customers to handle my concerns. She also told me to get another pool service company, Thanks Pam, I will!Update: This companys owner is currently being sued and clearly has some ethical issues along with poor customer service. There is no reason for me to post fake reviews when I was clearly contributing to their family income.

We have been a customer of Parrot for close to three years now and could not be more pleased with the entire experience. We first used Parrot to replace all of out pool pumps and mechanical equipment and retained them for weekly pool maintenance services. If youre looking for a company that you can trust to do it right the first time at fair prices, then give Parrot a call.

My wife and I are long time customers of Parrot Head and have always been thrilled with their service. Their techs are quick to respond anytime we have an issue and all are highly knowledgeable on both pool equipment and water chemistry. Very fair prices, and they will be upfront about costs and what to expect before any work begins. I cannot recommend them enough!!!

I had my home warranty deny my claim due to chemical damage for pool heater. Parrothead had been taking care of my pool and they tore down my pool heater and took pictures of the heat exchanger. Tommy sent those photos to Pentair and they ended up sending Tommy the parts to repair my pool heater. I got it repaired for labor only! Save me alot of money! Parrothead ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I talked to someone on the phone on Monday, they were supposed to crunch the numbers for me, it is now Friday and I have not heard anything back. I even tried asking about it on Wednesday and all they ever said was let me ask Matt. Though the lady I spoke with was very nice and helpful, I feel like the customer service is pretty bad. Ill take my money elsewhere!

I have used Oarrotjead repeatedly over the years. They do great work. They are prompt and capable. I have never had to call them back on a repair or service. It’s right first time.

Parrot Head is amazing and as much for what they do as what the dont do. I have used them multiple times and heres an example of what I mean. 1) Pool water problem that would need emptying a lot of the water. They could have done the work but told me what I needed to do saving me some money. 2) Pump went out. I had two pumps and they told me someone else may have said I needed a new pump but how to check and it was just a few dollar capacitor. 3) Chlorinator leaking. I was provided alternatives and it turned out to be an easy fix on my part. Total savings to me for these scenarios was over $1,000.I will definitely use them in the future and know I will soon need new plaster. Thanks to the team at Parrot Head Pool Service for their continued honesty and looking more at long term customer service than the quick dollar.

I highly recommend Parrot Head Pool Service. They have ouststanding pool technicians that service our pool like it was their own. I am always pleased with their integrity, knowledge, and the manner in which the job is completed.

Their technician Jay came to clean our cartridge filters. He called first to tell us his arrival time. Jay did a great job cleaning and checking my pump filter and gave me some tips on keeping my water balanced. Weve used Parrot Head Pool Service in the past, and will certainly use them in the future. They always do a wonderful job!!

The diver that works for this company almost rear ended me this morning getting into i45 north. That driver knows who he is I well be reporting that person. Very unsafe unprofessional hes gonna hurt if not kill someone.

I needed my pool re-plastered. PHPS was the definitely best bid of the three I got. James A. was the PHPS tech overseeing the job and I couldnt be more pleased with the service and attention he has given us. He was onsite following the job to completion. When the pool was refilled he came out on a Sunday to start getting the water chemistry correct. He continues to be helpful answering my questions about how to manage the new surface.

Always professional, have been fabulous in solving a variety of pool issues. We have been using them for a few years! Highly recommend their service techs and their customer service reps!!!

We got an upgraded replastering done Sept 2016. The new surface is beautiful and expertly applied. PHPS was timely with the work and communicated great. They will go above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. Specifically, Kevin has been exemplary in his service and integrity.

We bought this home a year ago and the pool was a mess. Broken tile, plaster was in horrible shape. Patrot head gave me a quote and did not try to nickel and dime me with UNFORESEEABLE problems. They came when they said they would and completed the remodel on schedule. My pool is a showcase now. I have never been so satisfied with a done by a company. Highly recommend them.

Very disappointed. If you look at my profile, I usually never give a bad review as I like to reward good service and businesses. We were referred to this pool company from several of their customers. We already had an estimate on our pool for a broken pump and Parriotthead pools quoted us $300.00 LESS than the other company. They got in and completed the work and billed us a total of $500 dollars MORE (double the estimate) and $150 OVER THE OTHER POOL companies estimate! We would have gone with the other pool company had we known. I know that things can pop up but there was no communication explaining what they found extra, or even giving us the option on whether we wanted to fix it. They knew we already had another estimate so there was no surprise as to what was needed. Buyer beware.
